Episode 1: William (Hugh Grant) spies something odd in the small TV monitor in his book shop

William: Bad news
Thief: What?
William: We have got a security camera in this shop
Thief: So?
William: So, I saw you put that book down your trousers
Thief: What book?
William: The one down your trousers.
Thief: I haven't got a book down my trousers.
William: Right..well, then I'll tell you what...I'll call the police and,
If I'm wrong about the whole book-down-the-trousers
  scenario, I really apologize.
Thief: Okay...what if I did have a book down my trousers?
William: Well, ideally, when I went back to the desk, you'd remove
the "Cadogan guide to Bali" from your trousers, and
either wipe it and put it back, or buy it.

Episode 2: The thief asks Anna (Julia Roberts) for autograph

Thief: What does it say?
Anna: Well, that's the signature...and above, it says 'Dear
  Rufus, you belong in jail.'
Thief: Nice one...(pause) Do you want my phone number?
Anna: Tempting but... no, thank you.

Episode 3: Williams and his flatmate, Spike, are in the kitchen. Spike is wearing a full body scuba diving gear.

William: Just incidentally...why are you wearing that?
Spike Ahm...combination of factors really. No clean clothes...
William: There never will be, you know, unless you actually clean
  your clothes.
Spike: Right...Vicious circle!! And then I was like rooting around
in your things, and found this, and I thought..COOL!!
  Kinda spacey..

Episode 4: Anna plans to meet William in her hotel but the staff mistakes William as one of the journalists who comes to interview Anna

William: Right. Ahm... the film's great... and I just wondered
whether you ever thought of having more...horses in it?
(coz he told the staff that he comes from the magazine
  'Horses and Hounds')
Anna: Ahm..well...we would have liked to...but it was difficult,
  obviously, being set in space.
Staff: Do remember that Miss Scott is also keen to talk about
her next project, which is shooting later in the summer.
William: Oh yes...excellent. Ahm...any horses in that one? Or
hounds, of course. Our readers are equally intrigued by
  both species.
Anna: It takes place on a submarine.

Episode 5: William is taken to interview other co-actors of the movie

William: Did you identify with the character you were playing?
Interpretor: No
William: Why not?
Interpretor: Because he is playing a psychopathic flesh-eating
  robot.

Episode 6: Anna and William are in the living room

Anna: You have big feet
William: Yes. Always have had.
Anna: Do you know what they say about men with big feet?
William: No. What's that?
Anna: Big Feet, Large........Shoes

Episode 7: (In William's bookshop) Anna is asking William to reconsider their relationship.

Martin(Staff): Excuse me...it's your mother on the phone.
William: Can you tell her I'll ring her back.
Martin: I actually tried that tack...but she said you said that
before and it's been twenty-four hours, and her foot
that was purple is now a sort of blackish color...

Episode 8: (In William's bookshop) William is away for the phone call

Martin: Can I just say, I thought 'Ghost' was a wonderful film.
Anna: Is that right?
Martin: Yes... I've always wondered what Patrick Swayze is
like in real life.
Anna: I can't say I know Patrick all that well.
Martin: Oh dear. He wasn't friendly during the filming?
Anna: Well, no...I'm sure he was friendly...to Demi Moore,
who acted with him in 'Ghost.'
