Chen Hanwei Shows his other talent - Competing with Guo Liang in new programme

Last year Chen Hanwei really regreted that he lost the chance to host <Home Decor Survivor>. The production team decided to let him fulfil his dream by arranging him and Guo Liang to host <S.O.S Wardrobe>, testing their talent beyond acting and hosting.

The well acclaimed <Home Decor Survivor> was originally to be hosted by Bryan Wong and Hanwei. Unfortunately, Hanwei has to go to Australia to film <Women of Times>, and had to become the judge instead.

'Actually Mark Lee has not bad sense except that his design is simpler and easygoing and it's easy to see who will win when he has to compete with Bryan Wong.! Example:  Bryan will put some cups on table for decoration. Mark is more practical in thinking. He wants a table but not necessarily cups.''

'" I always 'nag' the production team, kept asking if there's second season. But they said that it's better to stop before it gets stale. There won't be any second season. Very wasted."

But never mind, it's farewell to <Home Decor Survivor>. and welcome <SOS Wardrobe>. The theme of the programme is what he is very skilled in - clothing design. Hanwei and Guo Liang will showcase their creativity and dress taste . They'll ransack their participants' wardrobes and give new looks to the clothing and have a make-over of their images.

Hanwei has already done recording a few times but still very enthusiastic when talking about the programme. "This is a very interesting game show. Got to use our own brains with nobody's help!"

All along Hanwei is very interested in cloth design. He had gone backstage to be an image consultant and was responsible for the dressing of the artistes in <Star Awards>. Besides getting the news of the latest fashion trend from magazines and internet, he also had many stylists as friends. He has the fastest information whenever a new boutique shop opens.

"I like to 'watch' but whether I buy is another matter. Dressing is very personal. What you like may not be what I like. What you think is good-looking, may not mean I will think likewise. My dressing is very simple.  It's usually t-shirt matched with jeans or singlet with bermudas. I am almost 36, can't overdress. I prefer to help people match clothing. Since young I am like that. I still help my father, mother and sister to match their clothing!"

With such vast experience with him, it looks like Guo Liang is facing a stiff fight. <SOS wardrobe> will debut on May 17th and broadcast every Wednesday, 8.30pm through Channel U.
