RJ hailed an "absolutely superb performance" from MAS Veterans as they won their second game in a row by beating Sunway Construction FC 4-0 at University Malaya ground today. A towering header by Pacai, who re-joined the team after a two year hiatus, opened the floodgate. Firdaus (2) and Junaidi (1) completed the rout as Sunway Consctruction tried hard to reduce the deficit.
Another sterling performance by MAS Veterans, especially Manstar who played like a man possessed at the backline. However, Kadir was still unable to break his current slump when he had gone 810 minutes without scoring a goal. With another 20 minutes to go, he should be able to beat Diego Forlan's record at Man Utd.
