Information About Hisako |
ABOUT ME: Well my name's Hisako June Pack. I was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 26, 1989. My zodiac sign is a Scorpio. Almost, sadly to say, I do live-up to the characteristcs and attributes of a Scropio.Im 4 11. I have black hair, it's reaches just above my lower back. I have honey brown eyes. Freckles that highlight my cheekbones. I'm half-Okinawan and half-Caucasian. I have a hypothyroid. So I WOULD give my weight, but it flucuates too much because of the medical issue and how they affect my weight. Really I would. I'm a middle child, but I don't completely live-up to the "typical" middle child stereotype. Yes in some areas I do, but not really. I currently live in Katy, Texas and have since I was probably... 2 years old. I've attended Cimarron Elementary, West Memorial Junior High, and now I'm in Katy High School. Of course I do have plans on attending College as well. I'm aiming towards and hopeing I get accepted to Sam Houston State University, which is a school that specifies in Chemistry and Forensic Science. My dreams and aspirations I hope to acheive from this school is to become the TOP forensic M.E. (Medical Examiner) in the United States. I also would like to work beside my dad in his business, with my mother in her pursuit of a head cosmetian position, become a chef with my Oba (meaning grandmother in Japanese), and also become a writer of either novels and/or poetry. Another dream which I have is to become the next SGI World President Leader for World Peace. SGI means Soka Gakkai International and is a "religion" (sect) of Buddhism. I prefer not to call it a "religion" though as the word usually carries a denotation with it. I prefer to call my belief a philosophy. Like the word "philosopher" meaning "lover of wisdom" I like to think of Buddhism's practices to be a philosophy since it is largely built upon knowledge of surroundings and how to take control of your own emotion using your knowledge and buidling them up so you are not easily controlled or swayed by others around you. I play seven different instruments. The electric violin and accoustic violin, electric bass guitar, electric guitar and accoustic guitar, taiko and fue. For those of you wondering, "taiko" and "fue" are Japanese insturments. Taiko are Japanese drums that are built out of, traditionally, solid peices of wood and opened at both ends that are covered with cow hide. The fue is a Japanese flute sounding instrument. It's made out of wood and much whispier than pan flues. Insturments I hope to learn to play one day are the: piano, cello, stand-up bass, and American drums. |
ABOUT MY FAMILY: I have 5 members in my family which I consider "direct" family. My mother, father, younger sister, my older brother, and my oba. My mother's name is Deborah. She's the head cosmetician for Walgreens and is widely known around our area. I've learned quite a bit from her - how to be creative with materials, my voice, my face, my clothes, and my food. She's usually there when I need someone to talk to, but lately we've had the typical "mother to teenager" relationship sadly. My father's name is Yasuo. He's the owner of his own business, HOME Dialysis. He's widely known around Texas as well. He is also a musician. He plays and teaches people to play taiko drums. His group is called Kaminari Taiko of Houston. They've been going on now for 10 years. I've learned just as much from him as I have my mother. He's taught me how to be creative with my mind, my drawnings, be responsible, and how to manage my time and events. He's showed me how to be tough, how to stick-up for myself, give me highly set goals for myself, and to never give up on them no matter how tough the obstacle. My younger sister is named Sachiko. She's a pain! But I love that pain. No matter how hard she makes my life with her constant put-downs, and annoying repetitive stories, her agonizing fashion tips, and her "signs-from-friends" filled room, I know she'll always be there and even as a younger sister has an eye out for me. She's taught me how to be responsible as well. I had to learn how to be a good rolemodle and utilize what I knew to help teach her and/or someone else. She's also helped me keep more up-to-date with latest songs, and good movies, etc. All that "popular" stuff lol. My brother, Micheal, is one of the biggest role models in my life! He's given me hopes that I had lost until I spoke with him! He lived in my father's shadow for the 17 years he's known him. My brother hadn't had much of a male figure in his life up till he was 9 when my mother met my father. I know that after he met my dad he truly grew-up and lived the life a boy becoming a man should live. Even though he's truly in blood a half-brother. I've always seen him in my eyes a full blood brother! He's ALWAYS been there for me. If I've ever needed someone to talk to he was there. Although we have fought those sibling fights of name-calling, wrestling, love-punching, and take-up-for-anothers-truobles fights lol. He's away in the AirForce and has been for the past 6 or 8 years of my life. It's been hard since I've found it uneasy to talk to other members in my family, but I've learned from that as well. Finally my oba. Her name is Hisako K. I was named after her since my mom wanted a Japanese named girl and that's the only one she found appealing to her mouth as she spoke it. This is such a pain having the same name though only for this reason. When we get calls in the house, when they ask for "Hisako" we never know which one the pesron is looking for. I get some pretty "adultish" (platonicly) phone calls so it's stiill hard. The mail we receive doesn't always have the specified middle name so we end up opening up each other's mail, and to be frank, I have some letters I'd rather not have her reading! Despite this, she's taught me some good things. Like how to be patient since she doesn't speak English that well, how to STAY organized, cook Japanes/Okinawan authentic foods, enjoy the more refined and sophistiaced things in life, and how to keep composure from screaming at someone. I know she's my grandmother, but it's just HARD living with her! Since my grandfather died about 4 years ago she's been living with me and unfortunate to say, I'm her "favorite" grandchild and she babys me ALL the time! The worst part is she still thinks I'm that sweet innocent little girl she used to take care of back in Fort Worth. She doesn't seem to understand that I'VE GROWN UP AND I HAVE OTHER IMPORTANT PRIORITIES TO TAKE CARE OF OTHER THAN BEING HER SWEET DOLL TO DRESS UP AND TEACH HOW TO TAKE CARE OF A HOUSE WHEN I GROW UP! Anyways, that's her lol. |
MY PETS: I have one cat, Kewi. My dad brought her home one day since all my life and I had first seen a kitten I had wanted one! So finally while tending to one of his patience he saw that she had a new litter of kittens and she had nothing to do with them, so he asked if he could have one to take home. Gladly so she said yes and now I have Kewi! My dad named her since I had nothing to think of and we named her Kewi for her eyes are that BRIGHT GREEN like kiwis. I changed the spelling though since I didn't want her name to mean a fruit. We also have another cat (by the FINAL liking of cats by my sister) who is named Pepper. Guess why? No her eyes don't look like peppers lol... her fur is black and black like pepper. Why not Midnight, Blacky, or some contradicting name such as SnowBall? Becuase those are too common. How many cats you hear being called Pepper? Exactly! We used to have a dog named Porsha. My mom always said, "If I can't own a fast car. Then I'll own a fast dog and name it after a fast car!" Porsha was a gift to me basically when I was born. She was the best dog I'd ever met even to this day. But I'm sure every owner says that about his/her dog. Sadly though 6 years ago we had to put her to sleep because she had a massive tumor growing in her mouth and my whole family knew it was putting her on pain. Although through all that pain she was, sometimes obviously, going through, she never bit us, growled at us, or "turned her back" on us. She was ALWAYS kept that loving pup she held inside her. |
MY INTERESTS - HOBBIES - TIME CONSUMERS: Well, I like music. I mean I LOVE music. I was never really into it till I started getting into the metal, rock, hard-core, stuff but even before that I had always been singing something. Now that I've broadened my musical preferences though I've been keeping up-to-date with newer songs and CD's, MP3's, bands, etc. Of course I still stick with the oldies songs that I sometimes feel a reactionary opinion towards. However, times are-a-changin'! I usually spend my free time playing on the computer, playing pool, listening to music (of course), talking to friends, writing in my journals, making new poems, updating things, working on my websites, learning something, working on homework, looking up random things to learn, or helping someone else. I don't typically go outside and what I mean by that is go to parties, hang-out with friends (much). Sadly I don't have much of "that" kind of life. I live to learn, help others, pass on my knowledge. I LOVE school and learning! I can't get enough of it! I had a conversation with one of my friends one day. We were talking about how if schooling and learning were an occupation that would be right up our alley and we'd be millonaires! lol However it's not so I'll pursue those needs otherways =p. That's pretty much all of the things I can think of for the hobbies, time consumers, and interests section. THERE YOU HAVE IT! BASICALLY EVERYTHING ABOUT HISAKO! |
