Coming into the GZW from the independent circuit, Justin Sharp brought with him a cocky attitude, family issues, and a tremendous wrestling ability. Sharp quickly gained the LightHeavyweight Championship that has catapulted his career, along with his association with the stable Pride, into the spotlight of GZW. The month of April saw Justin Sharp nearly defend the LightHeavyweight Championship on both televised shows of GZW, which has earned him the moniker of “the fightingest LightHeavyweight Champion” as well as Wrestler of the Month of April.
