Monday Manslaughter 27Aug01

Three Atlanta Police arrive to the GZW Coliseum led by two plain clothes detectives dressed in suits and fedora hats. The Black detective is tall with a moustache while his partner is White, short and clean-shaven.  The Black detective stops a staff member mulling around in the back area.

Black detective: (flashing badge) I’m Det. Monroe and this is my partner, Det. Conley. Do you happen to know a woman by the name of Forever Hiroshuma?

The staff member nods his head and points down the hall.

Det. Monroe: Thank you. (waves the other police on) Let’s go, fellows.

Pyro explodes inside the GZW Coliseum signaling another chapter in the ongoing saga known as Manslaughter. The camera pans the capacity filled Coliseum showing various signs and banners. One banner reads, “Combined Championship Wrestling—Coming Soon”. A sign reads, “Are we finally gonna get to see a COMPLETE main event?”

Fortune: Welcome everyone back to the GZW Coliseum in the heart of downtown Atlanta for another edition of Monday Manslaughter! I’m play-by-play announcer, Kandi Fortune and by my side is…

Hunt: (interrupting) “Wings Beneath My Wings” Alexander Hunt! It feels great to be here, Kandi! What? Without me on Manslaughter this show would be very boring! What?

Fortune: Why in the world do you keep saying what?

Hunt: What?

Fortune: It seems that the Atlanta Police Department are on the search for Sincere’s wife, Forever! Apparently she is going to be questioned for last weeks hit and run on Wicked Ways!

Hunt: What is this, America’s Most Wanted? Whatever happen to innocent until proven guilty?

Fortune: Now you know as well as I do, Alex, that all the evidence points to Forever! What I can’t believe is that Sincere would step his own wife up to take the fall for him!

Hunt: If it’s true you have to hand it to him! He still is the professor of psychological warfare and the mastermind of mindgames!

Fortune: Tonight’s show proves to be loaded as three titles are on the line as the other two Champions will be involved in non-title bouts!

Hunt: So tonight the Heavyweight, LightHeavyweight, and the Intercontinental Championships will be switching hands tonight!

Fortune: That could happen! Let’s get into our first match of the night!

---Zeke vs. “Last Man Standing” Cravin Morehead---

*Cravin’s music blasts over the PA as Cravin Morehead steps out onto the ramp. The fans start to chant “Last Man!” as he makes his way down the ramp and into the ring.*

Fortune: Here is the “Last Man Standing” Cravin Morehead!

*Zeke’s music rumbles through the arena as Zeke makes his way down the ramp.
The fans boo loudly as he runs down the ramp and slides into the ring.*

Hunt: Here’s my man Zeke. He’ll tear Cravin apart.

The two men lock up in the middle of the ring.  Cravin applies a side headlock but Zeke lifts Cravin up and drops him on the back of his head with a high angle backdrop.  Zeke makes the cover but Cravin kicks out.  Zeke applies a reverse armbar on Cravin and applies more pressure. Cravin screams in pain and reaches for the ropes as Zeke applies the pressure. Cravin drags his body across the ring and grabs onto the bottom rope.  The ref starts to count as Zeke refuses to let go off the hold.

Hunt: Let go before it’s to late Zeke.

Zeke lets go at the last second and drags Cravin back into the middle of the ring.  Zeke goes for another reverse arm bar but Cravin blocks it and applies a crossface to Zeke.  Zeke swings his body around to break the hold and then stands up as fast as he can.  Zeke jumps up and nails a leg drop to the back of Cravin’s head knocking him to the mat.

Fortune: Wow Zeke is the aggressor tonight.

Hunt: I know I love it.

Zeke walks around the ring showboating as Cravin gets to his feet slowly.   Zeke turns around as Cravin nails him with a stiff right hand. The two men exchange punches in the middle of the ring but Cravin comes out on top with several rights and lefts. Cravin nails a european uppercut to the chin of Zeke knocking him back a couple of steps.  Cravin steps back and nails a
massive clothesline to Zeke knocking him down.  Cravin begins to stomp repeatedly on the downed Zeke.  Cravin steps back and drops a knee to the back of Zeke’s head.  Cravin stands up and points at the downed Zeke and laughs.

Fortune: Cravin has turned up the heat here.

Hunt: Come on Zeke.

Zeke gets to his feet slowly as Cravin charges at him and delivers a spear.   He stands back up and signals for the end.  Cravin lifts Zeke to his feet and locks on Extreme Dream (finisher).  Zeke squirms around trying to escape but Cravin applies more pressure as the fans start to chant “Last Man!”

Fortune: This match is good as over.

Hunt: Zeke hasn’t quit yet.

Zeke continues to fight but Cravin applies more pressure forcing Zeke to tap out.  Cravin lets go of the hold and slides out of the ring as his music kicks up again.  Cravin holds his arms above his head as he makes his way to the back.

Fortune: Well looks like Cravin won this match.

Hunt: He cheated. You saw it.  He cheated.

Fortune: Sure he did.

---Backstage---

Nathaniel Davis arrives at the underground parking lot of GZW Coliseum in his black Mercedes. He steps out of the car when suddenly...

Fortune: It's Monarch!

Hunt: The "Wrestling Franchise" and the HKWF Heavyweight Champion!

The sadistic Monarch blindsides Davis from behind with a clothesline. He then slams Davis' head into the hood of the car.

Fortune: Monarch with a sadistic sneak attack!

Hunt: Davis has been saying anytime anywhere! No better place or time than right now!

Monarch drags Davis up onto the hood of the Mercedes, then drops the former Intercontinental Champion with a …

Fortune: Kowloon Plunge! (chokeslam into a sitdown powerbomb)

Officials and referees hit the scene but it is too late. Monarch walks away with a crazed yet calm look in his eyes. Davis is laid out on the now dented hood of his Mercedes.

---Non-Title Television Championship Match: “CareerKiller” Maxx Pain vs. Fubu---

Fortune: Maxx Pain has been spreading terror throughout the GZW, but the Television Champion, Fubu, is looking to end the upstarts path!

Hunt: I think all the TV time has gone to Fubu's head. I would not want to face Oain in a match, especially a match with no holds barred! Who is Fubu's doctor, Dr. Kevorkian?

Fortune: Well, I don't know, Alex. Fubu is as tough as they come!

"Rap Superstar" by Cypress Hill plays and the crowd stands on its feet awaiting Fubu. Fubu makes his way to the ring with the TV title over his shoulder. Fubu gets in the ring, stands in his ready stance and waits for his opponent.

The lights go out and a chill fills the air.

Hunt: Eek!

As the lights go on, Maxx Pain stands in the ring with his arm around Maxxine. Maxxine runs a finger down his chest, kisses her man on the cheek before she exits the ring. Pain flexes his muscles preparing himself for the match.

Fortune: Here we go!

Pain starts the match by hammering away on Fubu with powerful fists. Pain picks up Fubu and whips him to the ropes. Fubu ducks a big boot and nails Pain with a dropkick. Fubu goes for an Irish whip of his own, but Pain reverses and hits an inverted atomic drop on Fubu. Pain then follows up with a vicious clothesline. Maxxine grabs a chair and slides it into the ring for her man.

Fortune: Pain has some cruel intentions for Fubu with that chair!

Pain blasts Fubu in the head with the steel chair, denting the chair. Pain places the chair on the mat, picks up Fubu and piledrives him onto it. The cover, but Fubu kicks out. Pain picks up Fubu and whips him into the corner. Pain takes the chair and charges in. Fubu gets his boot up and kicks the chair into Pain's face.

Fortune: Maxx Pain gets a mouthful of steel!

Hunt: No!

With Pain momentarily stunned, Fubu gets on the turnbuckle and nails him with a flying back elbow. Fubu picks up the chair now. He takes it and smashes over Pain's head not once, not twice, not even three times, but a brain-scrambling four times. Fubu places the chair on Pain's face, gets on the apron and hits a slingshot leg drop, driving the chair into the CareerKiller's face.

Fortune: Ouch!

Hunt: Come on Pain! Cancel Fubu's TV time!

The cover by Fubu, but Pain tosses him off. Fubu undoes the padding on the top turnbuckle. Fubu picks up Pain and goes to slam his face into the exposed steel, but Pain blocks. Pain grabs Fubu and slams his face into the steel. Pain hooks a stunned Fubu's waist and hits a release German suplex.

Fortune: Ohmigosh! Did you see how Fubu's body folded on that suplex?

Hunt: Yes!!! Pain is one bad man!

Pain picks up Fubu and Irish whips him. Fubu ducks a clothesline and nails Pain with a spinning heel kick. Fubu lands several punches on Pain. Irish whip by Fubu is reversed by Pain. Pain charges in and clotheslines Fubu sending him over the top rope and out of the ring.

Fortune: Fubu is right in front of us, Alex!

Hunt: Get away!

Fubu leans against the announcing table to regain his balance. Meanwhile Pain is on the apron, measuring Fubu for his next strike. Pain flies toward Fubu going for a double ax handle, but Fubu quickly grabs a monitor off the table, turns and smashes it into the face of Pain.

Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! What a shot by Fubu! He destroyed that monitor and quite possibly, Pain's face!

Fubu goes and grabs his TV title belt. He strikes Pain in the back with it, dropping Pain to his knees. Fubu lifts the belt high above his head, but Maxxine comes from behind and holds onto the belt. Fubu turns to face Maxxine. She backs away giving Pain enough time to lowblow Fubu from behind. Pain then picks up Fubu in an atomic drop position and slams him into the ringpost, crotch and face first.

Fortune: This match has been downright brutal!

Fubu falls to the arena floor. Pain stomps away on him. Pain picks up Fubu and drops him throat first across the steel rail. Pain then rolls Fubu back into the ring. Pain grabs a fresh chair and gets in the ring.

Fortune: Pain is going to finish off Fubu in the ring!

Hunt: The TV ratings are going to skyrocket once Maxx Pain wins the Television Championship!

Pain smacks Fubu with the chair. Then he places the chair on mat. Pain then hits a huge powerbomb onto the chair.

Hunt: YES!!

The cover by Pain.

1 ... 2...

Fortune: A miraculous kick out by Fubu! Can you believe it?

Hunt: What? No!

Pain is furious. He sets up Fubu on the top turnbuckle for a top rope  powerbomb.

Fortune: He is going to hit a top rope powerbomb onto the chair!

Pain is on the turnbuckle with Fubu. Pain hooks Fubu's waist.

Fortune: BUT WAIT!

Coming out of the crowd is Dameon with a steel crowbar. He gets in the ring and nails Pain in the back with it. Dameon leaves the ring as quickly as he entered, going up the rampway.

Fortune: Dameon has just taken out Maxx Pain!

Hunt: I guess Dameon isn't going to let Maxx Pain win the TV title before he does!

Pain falls off the turnbuckle, but lands on his feet. Fubu, gets a second wind, hooks Pain's head and hits a tornado DDT driving Pain's head into the chair on the mat. The cover.

1 ...

Hunt: No!

2 ...

Hunt: No! That stupid Dameon!

Fortune: Three!

Hunt: NO!

Fortune:  Fubu wins the No Holds Barred match!

Hunt: I can't believe this!

Dameon smiles as he watches from the stage. Fubu gets his hand raised in victory.

Hunt: Fubu may have won this time, but Pain is inevitable!

---The Enforcers talk—

Firefly and Lez are sat in the canteen of the arena. Both have coffees and stern looks.

Lez:
"The more he attacks us, the more I think he's guilty!"

FF:
"If UJ did do it, God only knows what I'll do to him! However, we have to give him the benefit of the doubt and check out every wrestler on the roster."

Lez:
"Maybe he has an accomplice? After all, he did attack us last week and stop any kind of enquiry we could do that week!"

FF:
"An interesting thought Lez! However, to my knowledge no-one is particularly keen on him!"

Lez:
"There is that..."

T-Rex walks past, and Lez spots him.

Lez:
"You've not cleared T-Rex yet!"

FF:
"T-Rex? Surely it couldn't have been T-Rex!"

Lez pulls a face.

FF:
"I know, I know, I said I'd check with everyone."

FF runs to catch up with T-Rex.

FF:
"Hey Rex!"

T-Rex:
"Yeah?"

FF:
"You got a minute? I need to ask you something."

T-Rex:
"Aight."

FF:
"I know you've got a lot on your plate at the moment, but as you know, so do I. I really appreciate you giving me some of your time! Basically, I need to know where you were when my mum was attacked."

T-Rex:
"No problem Sho, I can't believe what happened to your mama! I was in Hong Kong, Sho, in my hotel room."

FF:
"You know anyone who can confirm that?"

T-Rex wrinkles up his face at the memory.

T-Rex:
"Yeah, the receptionist... damn that woman gave me some hassle. You're gonna contact her right? I don't ever want to talk to her again!"

FF:
"Yeah, I will. Thanks!"

T-Rex:
"Hey no problem Sho... you got your title shot tonight, right?"

FF looks embarrassed.

FF:
"Yeah, should be you there really! You never got the shot two weeks ago
after those idiots Wicked Ways and Sincere interfered... and I never
actually beat you without interference back when we fought in GZW."

T-Rex:
"Sho, I aint gonna hold a grudge against you for getting a well-deserved title shot! But you win that title, and you know T-Rex is gonna want a shot at you."

FF:
"Rex, if I do win, and I have any say whatsoever, you'll get your shot!"

T-Rex:
"Aight Sho, I know you're a man of your word... I'll see ya later."

FF:
"Bye Rex."

FF turns around, to see that Lez has gone. He shrugs, and raises an eyebrow. However, when he returns to his seat and notices that she has taken the steel chair she was sitting on as well, his face drops.

FF:
"Sweet Jesus... she must have gone looking for UJ!"

FF gets up and strides out of the canteen.

---LightHeavyweight Championship Match: “Lone Gunman” John Taylor vs. Hades---

Fortune: This next match will be for the LightHeavyweight title! It seems that some of the heat in the division has died due to the sudden retirement of Eric "C2" Montair!

Hunt: True,Kandi! "Complete Chaos" was the man to beat on the lightheavyweight scene! It don't matter who has the belt, C2 will always be the wrestler to set a standard by!

"Last Resort" by Papa Roach plays as Lone Gunman steps into view and the crowd boos even louder. He makes his way to the ring and stretches in the corner awaiting his match.

Fortune: John Taylor has been absent from GZW television as of late!  Tonight is a chance for Gunman to tally up a win giving him much needed airtime and possibly a championship over ...

"Purple Hills  " by D-12 plays on the arena speakers as Hades makes his way to the ring, LightHeavyweight belt draped over his shoulder, he climbs into the ring in the corner opposite from Gunman's and does some stretching of his own.

Fortune: ...the LightHeavyweight Champion, Hades!

Hunt: What is he? An overgrown smurf?

The bell sounds and both men move forward into the center of the ring and being circling each other. After a moment of circling the two clamp on a collar-and-elbow tie up, then battle for leverage. With his height advantage, Gunman pressures Hades downwards, forcing his knees to buckle slightly. Gunman slaps away the collar and elbow and cranks on a headlock; Hades backs to the ropes and heaves Gunman across the ring, Gunman jumps the downed Starr as he returns then stops a hip toss attempt dead in it's tracks. Hades spins the arm of Gunman around into a hammerlock, which Gunman quickly drops down and reverses to a standing arm winch.

Fortune: Excellent text book wrestling from both men so far!

Hunt: Gunman needs to beat down this punk!

Hades slaps his shoulder before rolling forward on the mat getting to his feet, pulling his opponent over to a bent position, stepping over his extended arm and executing a second somersault pulling Gunman down into a arm bar. Gunman rolls backwards leaving both him and Hades on their knees, Gunman pulls his arm free before spinning around and hooking Hades in a head scissors. Hades turns to his side and rolls forward into a makeshift pin attempt; a two count is made before Gunman rolls over making his own pin, at two both men roll backwards to their feet.

Both men hunch their knees in a ready position both with smirks on their faces as the crowd applauds the series of moves.

Fortune: The fans giving a huge response to the excellent ability of these two men!

Hunt: So they can work the hell out of the basics, but can they get down and dirty!

Again both men circle around the ring, this time Gunman takes the initiative and sneaks in a knee lift to the midsection of Hades, Gunman follows this up with three quick left hands that sends Hades backwards into the corner. Gunman whips Hades diagonally across the ring and follows up charging after him; Hades baseball slides to a stop before he hits the corner, turns around and is leveled down to the mat by a huge power clothesline from Gunman.

Fortune: Amazing impact by the Lone Gunman! Almost decapitated Hades with that clothesline!

Gunman pulls Hades up to his feet and sends him over to the mat with a snap suplex, he holds onto Hades' tights and pulls him back up to send him over with a second snap suplex but Hades stops it and lifts Gunman up dropping him down on his head with a brainbuster.

Hunt: Hades tried to kill Gunman with that brainbuster!

Hades hooks the leg for the cover but Gunman kicks out at two. He then pulls Gunman to his feet and whips him to the ropes and takes him up and over with a belly-to-belly suplex. With Gunman down Hades bounces off the ropes and drops a quick elbow across the throat. Hades begins to pull Gunman up to his feet but Gunman wraps his arms around the back of Hades' neck and jumps up dropping into a seated position sending the Hades reeling from the jaw breaker.

Fortune: John Taylor with amazing impact on that jawbreaker which he just followed up with a boot to the stomach and a DDT!

Gunman pulls Hades to his feet and whips him into the ropes; upon Hades' return he attempts a spear. Gunman leap frogs this sending Hades to the outside of the ring.

Hunt: See what happens when that Hefty Smurf wannabe tries to go for his moves too early?

Hades pulls himself up using the announce table. He turns around to see Gunman run against the opposite ropes and dives over the top rope crashing into Hades sending them over the top of the announce table and sending the announcers moving to either side of the table.

Fortune: Can you still hear me, Alex?

Hunt: I hear you, Kandi. Unfortunately. That Hades tried to kill us!

The fans are on their feet after that suicide dive chanting "G-Z-W!" "G-Z-W!" repeatedly, Gunman makes it to his feet and pulls Hades up as well and slides him back into the ring. Gunman stands on the apron before climbing onto the top rope and leaping off only to catch a boot to the face by Hades. Gunman drops to the ring holding his jaw as Hades pulls himself up and climbs to the top rope.

Fortune: Hades could be going for the Bolt of Blue Lightning to capitalize off of Gunman's missed high-risk maneuver!

Hunt: Gunman deserves it after trying to attack me with Hades' body!

Hades leaps off of the top rope flipping in mid air, and crashing down onto the mat missing Gunman completely with his senton bomb after Gunman rolls out of the way. Hades gets to his feet and is downed with a swinging neck breaker. Gunman pulls Hades up and locks him in a reverse DDT position and signals for a Roll the Dice. But Hades turns on his heels and takes Gunman over with a release Northern Lights suplex. Gunman gets to his feet and groggily turns around as Gunman crouches down.

Fortune: Could be another spear here!

Hades charges at Gunman and lifts him into the air around the midsection and drops him down to the mat with a huge spear, but in mid air Gunman wrapped his arm around Hades' head in a front face lock hooking in a guillotine submission as they hit the ground.

Fortune: What a counter move to that spear!

Hunt: I think we're going to have a new LightHeavyweight Champion!

Gunman gets up, stands over the back of Hades, and locks Hades the Silencer (single leg Boston crab). Hades reaches for the ropes once, twice, after failing the third time he has no choice and taps out to the deadly submission hold of the Lone Gunman.

Fortune: John Taylor wins! The Silencer comes through and gets him his first Championship here in the GZW!

---Non-Title Tag Team Championship Match: Freak Mauler and Lance Hell vs. Risky Gold---

Fortune: We are going to have a classic non-title tag team match here tonight between two teams with two very different personalities. We have the arrogant pair of Freak Mauler and Lance Hell. Then we have the Tag Team Champions, Risky Gold, Diamond and Epic!

Hunt: Well, Kandi, it isn’t arrogance if you can back it up! Freak Mauler and Lance Hell can definitely back it up!

Freak and Lance come to the ring to chants of “assholes assholes”. Lance has a disgusted look on his face as Freak holds his nose high in the air, ignoring the crowd.

The lights dim. The crowd waits in anticipation. Risky Gold come out as the crowd pops. Both men have the Tag Team titles secured around their waist. Epic points to the challengers in the ring.

The match starts as Epic and Freak start out for their respective teams. Freaks takes down Epic with a classic Greco Roman wrestling maneuver. Freak then takes down Epic with a fireman’s carry. Freak taunts with a flex pose. Epic gets right back up and unloads rights and lefts on Freak.

Fortune: Freak Mauler is reeling!

Epic whips freak to the ropes and tries to scoop Freak for a slam, but Freak floats over and gets behind him. Freak goes for a waist lock, but Epic gets out with a back elbow to the head. Epic turns around and hits a huge belly-to-back suplex. Epic mocks Freak with a flex pose of his own. Huge pop from the crowd. Epic drags Freak over to the corner and tags in Diamond. They whip Freak to the rope. Diamond executes a drop toe hold causing Freak to fall face first into Epic’s knee. Chants of “Risky Gold” start up.

Diamond hits a swinging neckbreaker on Freak.  He goes for a cover, but only gets two.  Diamond whips Freak to the ropes.  Lance tags Freak’s back, making him the legal man.  Frak ducks Diamond’s clothesline.  Diamond turns around facing Freak, not noticing Lance behind him.  Lance dropkicks Diamond from behind, knocking him into Freak’s waiting arms.  Freak executes a t-bone suplex.

Fortune:  What teamwork by Mauler & Hell!

Hunt:  Tag team excellence baby!

Lance Hell rocks Diamond’s head with strong forearm smashes.  Lance hits a snap suplex.  He looks to the crowd as they give him major heel heat.  Lance whips Diamond to the ropes.  Diamond ducks a clothesline, but Lance gets behind him and hits a release German suplex.

Fortune:  Wow!  What a well executed move!

Lance tags in Freak.  They execute a double Russian leg sweep.  Freak picks up Diamond and hits a sit down powerbomb.  The pin.

1 … 2 …

Fortune:  Kick out by Diamond!

Freak gets over to Epic’s corner and spits at him.  Epic gets in the ring, wanting a piece of Freak Mauler, but Referee Paulie Newman stops him.  With Ref Newman distracted, Freak sets up Diamond in a pile driver position as Lance comes off the top for a devastating spike piledriver.  Freak goes for the cover, but Epic runs in to break it up.  Freak tags in Lance.  They whip Diamond to the ropes.  Freak drops down.  Diamond hops over.  Lance picks him up and drops him throat first on the top rope.  Diamond stumbles backward.  Freak picks him up and drops him in an atomic drop.  Lance blasts him with a clothesline.  Lance goes for the cover.

But Epic comes in and drops an elbow drop on Lance to break up the count.  Ref Newman escorts Epic back to the corner.  Freak comes in for the double team.  They both whip Diamond to the ropes.  They try to elevate Diamond with a double back body drop.  Diamond hops over both of them.  Diamond takes down Freak with a spinning heel kick.  Diamond hip tosses Lance and makes it to the corner to make the hot tag to Epic.

Fortune:  Here comes Epic!

Epic knocks down Lance with a clothesline and tosses Freak over the top rope.  Epic lifts Lance and drops him with a fisherman DDT.  Epic drops a leg drop onto Lance’s groin.  Lance writhers in pain on the ground.  Epic lifts up Lance and he tags in Diamond.  Epic drops Lance with a cradle suplex.  Diamond slingshots himself from the apron and drops a leg drop on Lance’s neck.  Diamond lifts up Lance in a crucifix power bomb and hits it.

Fortune:  Diamond with a high impact move!

Hunt:  You’re very excitable tonight, Kandi!  Maybe you should cut back on the coffee!

Diamond hold him for the pin, but Freak comes flying into the ring with a seated dropkick to break up the count.  Diamond picks Lance back up in a suplex and drops him on his gut on the top rope, hanging Lance there.  Epic tags in.  He gets on the top turnbuckle and drops and elbow to the back of Lance’s head.  Epic lifts Lance in the fireman’s carry, but Lance slips out of it.  Lance rakes the eyes of Epic.  He whips Epic to the ropes where Freak on the apron lands a stiff kick to the back of Epic.  Lance charges in with a clothes line, knocking Epic over the top rope.

Fortune:  Mauler and Hell have really got their tag teaming down tonight!

Hunt:  After they beat the champions tonight, there will be no denying them a title shot!

Diamond comes into the ring, but Ref Newman tries to get him out.  Meanwhile, Freak works on Epic out on the Coliseum floor, smashing his face into the ring post.  Freak rolls Epic back into the ring.  Lance holds Epic up in a suplex position. Freak goes up top and takes Epic down with a flying cross body. Freak goes for the pin.

1…2…

Fortune: Kick out by Epic!

Freak can’t believe what he perceives to be a slow count. He argues with Ref Newman, Epic gets back up and from behind drops Freak with a reverse DDT. Epic makes the tag to Diamond. Diamond comes in with a kick to the gut of Freak. Diamond nails a jawbreaker. He then picks him up and drops him with a sideslam.

Fortune: Diamond is going to the top turnbuckle!

Diamond measures his opponent and drops a flying knee drop to the head of Freak. Diamond lifts Freak and hits…

Fortune: Sledgement (Hardcore Holly’s powerbomb)!

The cover. 1…2…

Fortune: Lance pulls Ref Newman out of the ring!

Hunt: Woohoo!

Diamond, seeing Lance on the outside, runs over to him. Diamond grabs the top rope and slingshots himself over, taking out Lance with a plancha. Meanwhile, Epic gets in the ring working on Freak. Lance and Diamond start to fight on the floor. Ref Newman tries to get them in the ring. Diamond goes to clothesline Lance, but he ducks. Diamond ends up clotheslining Newman instead.

Hunt: Disqualify him! He hit the ref!

Fortune: That was an accident and you know it!

While Diamond stands over fallen Ref Newman, Lance grabs Diamond’s head and drives him face first onto the steel guardrail. Lance grabs a chair and gets in the ring. Epic is punching away on Freak when Lance comes in and bashes Epic over the head with the chair. Lance sets the chair on the mat. Freak lifts up Epic in a powerbomb and drops him into a facebuster onto the chair.

Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea!

Lance goes out to revive Ref Newman.

Hunt: See what an outstanding young man Lance Hell is! He is helping out Referee Newman!

Fortune: What a perfect boy scout!

Referee Newman makes it into the ring. Diamond tries to get up but Lance sends him back down with a chairshot. Ref Newman makes the count.

1…2…

Fortune: Three! Freak Mauler and Lance Hell win the match! Risky Gold was robbed!

Hunt: It’s all about getting your hand raised, Kandi! Look at Mauler and Hell, tag team excellence personified!

Fortune: A major upset here!

Freak and Lance celebrate in the ring as the fans boo them unmercifully. Diamond gets in the ring with a chair. Lance and Freak get out in a hurry. As they are walking backward up the rampway they do not see from behind them the Extreme Champion, Big Country step out carrying a fire extinguisher.

Fortune: Looks like Big Country is looking for some revenge from last week’s defeat that he and Dameon received by Freak and Lance!

Hunt: Look out Lance Hell!

Country squeezes the trigger off the extinguisher releasing CO2 in the faces of Lance and Freak. He then cracks the metal container over the head of Lance, which busts him open. The blinded Freak is kicked in the midsection and slammed onto the rampway with a Down South Plunge (powerbomb).

Fortune: The team of Freak Mauler and Lance Hell were on fire! Big Country has literally put that fire out!

Hunt: You’re not funny at all! Leave the jokes to me, Kandi!

---Intercontinental Championship Match: “MidCard Killer” Pimp Bizkit vs. “Smooth Operator” Billy Bond---

Fortune: Up next...

Hunt: (interrupting) Let me handle this introduction, Kandi. Up next, the greatest wrestler GroundZero Wrestling has ever seen, the man who single-handedly breaks all the ratings records, the "MidCard Killer" Pimp Bizkit!

Fortune: And?

Hunt: Oh yeah, he'll be taking on the Intercontinental Champion, "Smooth Operator" Billy Bond".

Fortune: A bit of bias from our color commentator.

"Don't See The Signs" by Mark B and Blade hits the speakers. The fans boo as Pimp makes his way to the ring.

Fortune: Pimp Bizkit, a wrestling legend. He has had nothing but close chances to achieve gold since he has been in the GZW. PImp looks to win gold here tonight!

"Smooth Operator" by Sade hits the arena speakers. Pyro is set off and Smooth, with the gold around his waist, steps out onto the stage. He looks to capacity crowd, soaking in the showering cheers.

Hunt: There he is the Intercontinental Champ! Who cares!

Smooth climbs into the ring. Pimp moves closer, but the IC Champ waves him off and tells the Referee Patricia Albertson to back Pimp up. Smooth takes his time removing his IC title. He hands it to Ref Albertson.

Hunt: That's right ref! Handle Pimp's new gold with care!

The bell rings and the match is underway. The two men lock up in the center of the ring. Pimp comes out on top, taking down Smooth with a hiptoss. Smooth gets up slowly.

Fortune: To think that not to long ago these two men were the backbone in the stable known as E.S.P.!

Hunt: Although, Pimp is my man, I have to say that Eric "Complete Chaos" Montair carried both of them back then!

Fortune: Whatever!

The two men lock back up. Pimp with a side headlock. Smooth shoves him off, shooting him into the ropes. Pimp bounces back off the ropes. Smooth with a back body drop elevates the challenger up and back down hard to the mat. Pimp back up and back down he goes as Smooth levels him with a clothesline. Pimp back up. Smooth moves in with his right hand clenched, but Pimp slides out of the ring wanting no part of Smooth.

Hunt: How in the hell did Smooth ever win the Intercontinental title anyway? He never beat Wicked Ways!

---Heavyweight Championship Match: “The Fairplay Enforcer” Firefly vs. “Desert Storm” Magic---

Fortune: Time for the main event! The Heavyweight Title match between Firefly and Magic!

Hunt: Now that Magic is the Heavyweight Champion, does he have to be on every Manslaughter main event?

"I am the God of Hellfire, and I bring you... FIRE" blasts over the PA system as a ring of fire lights up on the ring entranceway. "Fire" by the Prodigy kicks in, and Firefly slowly ascends up through the ring of fire, with his head held up high and his trademark firesticks across his chest in a cross. When the pneumatic lift has stopped, Firefly thrusts his flamesticks high in the air, prompting a loud cheer from the crowd. A short martial arts display follows, with the firesticks spinning around with lightening quickness (think Steve Blackman with sticks on fire).

Herbert Torres: "Introducing  weighing 230 lbs and standing 6 ft tall he hails from Hong Kong... "The Firefly" Sho Murakame."

He walks to the ring with both sticks in his right hand held high in a cross, as he does so, runs his hand along the crowd for low fives. When he reaches the ring, he ascends a turnbuckle as the lights go down. From there, he blows a flammable liquid into the flames and blows a huge ball of flame into the air. Putting out his firesticks, he backflips into the ring with a grin.

Hunt: To think this guy use to run with Union Jack and the original Bad Company!

Fortune: Firefly is a past Heavyweight Champion in this federation as well as the youngest Champion to be crowned in the HKWF!

The GZW Heavyweight Champion makes his entrance to the tune of “Bittersweet” by Fuel as pyro explodes on the entranceway and along the rampway. With the gold over his right shoulder, he passes near the guardrail in order that the fans can pat him and run the gold belt.

Hunt: What can be said about this little puke? Not long before Wicked Ways gets to ram that Championship belt down his loudmouth!

Magic hands the belt to senior Referee Richard Dark, who holds the belt over his head to allow everyone to see the prize is at stake. Dark hands the belt to the timekeeper and signals for the bell. FF and Magic shake hands and circle each other cautiously in the ring. Both men move in. Magic with a quick kick to the midsection. Magic lands several chops, then whips FF to the ropes. FF ducks a clothesline attempt, bounces off the ropes and nails Magic with a flipping lariat. Magic gets up to his feet. FF takes him down with a hiptoss. Magic stands in his ready stance as Magic gets up slowly, glaring at the ex-Heavyweight Champion.

Fortune: These two men have so much respect for one another!

Hunt: Yeah, it makes me sick in the stomach!

Magic and FF stare off again in the center of the ring. Both men go to lock up, but Magic takes down FF with a drop toe hold, dropping him face first onto the mat. Magic quickly grabs FF’s leg and slams his knee into the mat, not once, but several times, each time driving the knee harder into the mat.

Hunt: You call that respect, Kandi? Looks like Magic is trying to re-aggravate the injury to Bugboy’s leg!

Fortune: Well, respect only goes so far, Alex, when it comes to the Heavyweight Championship!

The Champ then lifts FF to his feet and takes him down with a dragonscrew legwhip. FF lays on the mat, clutching his leg. Magic then drops an elbow to the inner thigh of FF. Magic then cinches in a single leg lock, working on the leg. FF struggles as Magic locks the leg in further. FF crawls and inches…and just does make it to the ropes for a break.

Fortune: Firefly with a show of heart and courage!

Magic uses the ropes to pull himself up. Magic goes back to work on the leg, kicking it. Magic grabs FF’s leg  going for another dragon screw legwhip, but FF reaches forward and gets a hand  in the face of Magic. Magic is still holding the leg. FF hops on his free leg and nails Magic with an enziguri. The fans pop.

Hunt: You think this main event is going to get interrupted like the past two weeks?

Fortune: I hope not!

FF gets up slowly, walking off the pain in his leg. Magic gets up and goes for a right hand. FF blocks it and unleashes a flurry of right hands. FF goes for an Irish whip. Magic reverses. Magic goes for a kneelift to the midsection, but FF flips over it and goes for a rollup pin. Magic kicks out at two. FF and Magic both get to their feet. FF with a loud knifeedge chop. Magic counters  back with a chop of his own. Magic chops away on FF in the corner. He whips FF to the opposite corner, following him in. FF hops onto the top turnbuckle and wipes out a charging “Desert Storm” with a moonsault.

The cover. The count by Senior Ref Dark.

1…2…

Fortune: Magic kicks out!

FF lifts Magic back up to his feet. He then whips Magic to the ropes. FF with a titlawhirl back breaker on Magic. FF goes up to the top turnbuckle.

Fortune: He is going for the Napalm Bomb! This could do it!

Magic is laying prone on the mat. FF looks to the crowd as they sense a possible title change. FF takes flight for the Napalm Bomb (senton bomb), but Magic rolls out of the way.

Hunt: Nothing but the bottom of the mat!

Fortune: Firefly just found out why they call those “high risk” maneuvers!

Magic gets back up to his feet. He lifts FF up to his feet. Magic hooks his head and lifts FF up and back down in a vicious brainbuster. Magic goes for a cover. Ref Dark is there for the count.

1…2…

Fortune: Firefly kicks out! Can you believe it?

Hunt: Instead of trying to be selfish and capture Heavyweight gold, Firefly should be concentrating on finding out who laid out his mother!
Magic lifts FF back up. The Champ with a series of chops and kicks in the corner. Magic goes to whip FF to the opposite corner, but FF reverses, whipping Magic back into the original corner, smashing Senior Referee Richard Dark.

Fortune: There goes Richard Dark!

Hunt: Hey, is Dark trying to screw Magic out of the belt like how he did T-Rex?

With Dark out and laying on the mat, FF hooks Magic with a rear waistlock. FF with a German suplex with a bridge, but there is no ref to count. Realizing this, FF breaks the hold and goes to try to revive Richard Dark.

Hunt: What is Firefly doing? Now is the time to beat the hell out of Magic! Who cares about Richard Dark?

Running down the rampway is Ref Donald Fey. As he nears the ring, a beer man hurdles  the steel guardrail and flattens Fey with a thunderous clothesline. The Beer man stomps away on the referee. FF seeing this bolts out of the ring and gives chase to the now fleeing Beer man up the rampway.

Fortune: Firefly is chasing the beer man that knocked Referee Donald Fey out!

Hunt: Firefly is taking this Boy Scout gimmick to new heights! Unless he is only chasing the guy to get some beer? Hehee!

As FF gets in the reach of the Beer man at the top of the entranceway, Wicked Ways comes from behind the curtain, striking FF with a huge fist to his fist. The Beer man takes off his hat and rips off his shirt to reveal that it is Giggles/Wylder.

Fortune: Ohmigosh! It’s a trap!

Hunt: Wicked Ways has told everyone that no one will win the title before he does! I guess he meant it!

On the entranceway, Ways lifts up FF into a powerbomb position and slams him hard into the steel stage. G/W stomps away on the prone FF. In the ring Magic comes to his senses and sees the attack on FF by Ways and G/W. As he climbs through the ropes enroute to save “The Fairplay Enforcer”, the Zero-tron flashes from the action to Sincere in the hallway backstage, standing in front of Magic dressing room door.

Sincere:

“Magic, you narrowly escaped the jaws of the Jade Dragon last week. If it was not for that abomination of nature, Wicked Ways, your reign as the GZW Heavyweight Champion would have ended. I see that Wicked Ways has ruined yet another title defense for you. Oh, well, such is the life of the Heavyweight Champion. Forgive me, I digress.”

Sincere pushes open the dressing room door to reveal Steph bound and gagged to a chair. Tears are streaming from her eyes as she struggles to break free.

Sincere:

“You see how easy it is for me to capture things that I want? Let this be your first and final lesson, young Champion. The title you carry is mine!”

The Zero-tron fades back to Ways and G/W beating on FF without remorse. Magic fueled by anger and fear for his girlfriend, bolts up the rampway and attempts to bypass Ways, but is caught by the massive hands of the masked monster.

Fortune: Magic was trying to make it backstage to rescue his girlfriend, Steph, from that sinister Sincere’s clutches and Wicked Ways has impeded his way!

Hunt: Magic wants to be “The Man”! Well this is what “The Man” has to deal with!

Ways drops Magic with a clubbing rights sending him to the floor. The masked monster picks up Magic and drops him on the steel stage with…

Fortune: Wicked Way!

The scene shifts to backstage as T-Rex runs out of his dressing room and down the hall. He gets to Magic’s room and sees Steph still tied to the chair, but Sincere is nowhere to be found. He walks into the room towards Steph, who starts rocking back and forth in excitement and darting her eyes.

As Rex gets close to her, he is blindsided from the rear. His body slumps to the floor at the feet of Steph, blood flowing freely from the back of his head. Standing above him is Sincere, bloody lead pipe in hand.

Back up front, as both Magic and FF lay brutalized and unconscious on the entranceway, Ways lifts his arms in triumph while G/W does the “Running Man” dance with glee. The attending crowd showers the duo with boos as well as trash.

Fortune: Another Manslaughter and another Magic title defense ruined by Wicked Ways!

Hunt: You sound sad about that? I think it’s great!

Fortune: You would, Alex! We are out of time, folks! We’ll see you next week on Manslaughter!
