Sailor Star Fighter is the leader of the Sailor Starlights and Seiya is the lead singer of the Three Lights. He first appears in episode 173. The Starlights escaped from their home planet, Kinkomu after it was destroyed by Galaxia. They are on Earth searching for Princess Kayaku. They are originally female but pose as male idols in the anime. (They're always female in the manga.) The Starlights use headsets to transform. Seiya transforms using the phrase "Star Fighter Power, Make-up!" His attack is "Star Serious Laser".
Seiya falls in love with Usagi after he meets her for the first time. He calls her "Odango Atama". ("Dumpling Head" in English.) He is tough and sports oriented. He plays to win, often appearing arrogant and rude. He encourages Usagi to forget her boyfriend overseas and go out with him. He always tries to do his absolute best in everything he does whether it be music, sports or school.
