Lady Une was once Treize's assistant, ranging from battle planning, coordinating the troops to planning assassinations. She followed Treize's ideals and devoted her time and energy to create the world as Treize saw it. Because of this, we were also given a glimpse of her other personality, where she took the gentle approach in uniting the colonies together. One of the most debatable characters in GW, her personalities ranged from cold and cruel to selfless and gentle. Personality A: Cruel and not moved by the sight of blood, will kill for the sake of Treize. Personality B: Doing things for the sake of peace in the universe. When under personality A, Lady Une wore glasses and her hair was pulled back in two buns. When under personality B, her hair was wore down and did not wear glasses. Near the end of the series, Lady Une was greatly injured. After having awoken from her coma, the two personalities had merged and in the OVA, she played a major role. When encountering Mariemeia, not only did she not hold a grudge toward the child despite the fact that she was the daughter of Treize and Leia Barton, Lady Une assumed the responsibility of raising Mariemeia.
