Interesting IPAs from Other Councils

There are many fun and interesting IPAs that were developed as "council's own" programs. There is more variety, often they are more specific than the programs in the badge book, and many of them are just for fun. They are not considered as official IPAs, in other words, they cannot count as one of the requirements for a Silver or Gold Award. Some of them are written in the old format - "do 8 out of 12 activities", and don't have a career or service project component. Others have been updated to follow the new guidelines. Where possible the sponsoring Council's address is given. Many times you can order the badge directly from that council. Our troop has done many of these badges and had a lot of fun in the process.
