Our first full day at Magic Kingdom was special: Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain,
the Haunted Mansion. We ended the fun filled day by watching “Spectro Magic”, the electric parade.
Tuesday was MGM Studios for the “YES Program” on animation behind the scenes, where we learned how an animated film is put together. We were amazed to learn that it can take 2-4 years for an animated film to be complete!
Then we went over to Downtown Disney to do what we all love to do-SHOP! We also saw
Tower of Terror, Aerosmith’s Rock n Roller Coaster and of course “Fantasmic” the must see show at MGM.
Wednesday morning we went to Blizzard Beach and enjoyed the water! It’s very hot in
Florida at the end of July. The wave pool, the water slides and the lazy river were just great! After we had a relaxing morning and afternoon, it was time for Test Track and to visit the countries at Epcot. Some of us made masks and at each country got our names signed in that language.
Thursday we departed for Cape Canaveral to board Carnival’s Fantasy to cruise over to Nassau Bahamas. We relaxed on board, we ate, danced, played bingo, saw comedy shows and ate some more! The girls enjoyed the teen disco both nights. When we arrived in Nassau a lot of the girls got their hair braided and shopped some more!
Then back to the Dolphin Encounter which everyone enjoyed. The dolphins danced and played with us, and in turn they kissed everyone! When we took a poll about half of the girls enjoyed the cruise more and the other half enjoyed Disney more.
This was such a well run wonderful trip we all enjoyed. I guess all of our hard work paid off! Between dances, Easter Bunny Breakfasts, cookies, flowers, nuts-we all thought it was well worth it!
