Yeo's Chrysanthemum Tea Drink

My mom picked this one out (allan). I think she just liked the flowers on the box. (allan). We don't know what to expect since we never had anything chrysanthemum flavored before.

It tastes like a boring unsweetened tea (wes). This stuff is boring. It's really watered down and there is a slight hint of sugar. I'll just stick to those public drinking fountains and save myself fifty cents (sylvia).

zzzzz... D+. It's drinkable, yet boring (patrick). I think this Yeo brand should change their name to "Eww" (sylvia).

Asian Taste Banana Flavored Grass Jelly Drink

When I was a kid, I would see these in the Asian grocery stores and think "GROSS! Grass doesn't taste good!." I should know because I ate some (allan). Shari almost broke a nail trying to open it. This drink looks like someone's throw up (shari). We thought it smelled sweet...and yes, it was green.

Immediate responses were "I don't like it (wes)" and "...fresh cut grass (patrick)." I thought it was sweet, but the banana flavor wasn't helping (allan). Shari and her friend Gene drank it out of a giant cup... Shari did not like it at all while her friend asked "Can I have the rest of yours?"

Grass Jelly gets a D+. I didn't expect the jelly to stick to the bottom and eventually hit me (allan).

Cool Choice Guyabano Drink

I had to get this because Guyabano rocks yo (allan). The pouch design was interesting. There was a plastic spout that made straws unecessary. This company definitely has the consumer in mind. Capri Sun could learn a thing from these guys. How many times have you broken straws when trying to break into a Capri Sun?

Someone said it tasted like kiwis. Some thought it was way too sweet. I thought it was great (allan).

We agreed to give this on a B. They complained of the excessive sweetness. They said it was bitter and then sweet. [ shrug ]

Cool Choice Mango Drink

The same company that made the guyabano drink also made a mango one.

There isn't much to say about it... It tasted like mangoes. It wasn't too sweet.

We gave it an A. It was just right.

Spicy Lime and Spicy Blueberry Soda

The can looked way too cool to pass up. On one can, a guy has a splitting head. On the other, he has a talking tongue. Awesome design on can...10 bonus points for having correct English sentences and quotes (shari). The blueberry soda was a purple color.

Wes thought the blueberry was bland while Patrick wanted to chug the whole thing. It was ok... The lime tasted like Mountain Dew, Sprite, 7up, Sierra Mist, and Storm mixed all together (shari).

We had to give the blueberry a C+. The can design couldn't save it from it's overall blahness. Shari gave the lime an A. Great product design, and having the title "spicy lime soda" made us really want to give it a try. Characters with their heads splitting open a plus. (shari)

Vita Sugar Cane Drink

We thought that "sugar cane" meant sweetness for sure, although some of us never had straight sugar cane before. Shari has had some bad experiences with Vita drinks before. It has high expectations...

BLAH! We were duped. We thought there would be immense sugar cane flavor, but there was none at all (allan). It tastes watered down; I would rather have some unsweetened tea (shari). The juice is pretty watered down and it tastes like distilled water with a pinch of sugar in it (sylvia). As you can see, we all think it's pretty boring.

Even though it almost had no flavor at all, the sugar cane drink comes out with a C-. It's boring (patrick). Tastes like sugar water (wes). I think I'd get more nutrition from licking a lamppost (sylvia).
