PART 2- Sister, demons, and blue lights Maria sat looking out her office window, it was 3:30 pm in the after noon, and she still hadn’t come home from work yet. Still looking out the window she noticed a woman around her age walking around like she was lost. For an odd reason she felt like she knew her. Like she was drawn to her. Grabbing her purse off the table she walked out her office into the main area of the restaurant. “Matthew, I’ll be back in few.” She said. “But Mrs. McCabe is here to see about your restaurant.” Matthew said stopping her. Turning around Maria smiled at Mrs. McCabe. -Main street- People pushed and shoved as they walked pasted each other. String off into the street, a young woman around in her 20’s walked around the busy street with her coat wrapped around her body. Looking at a Restaurant called Star Night Blue she paced in front of it. Back and fourth, back and fourth, getting the nerves the young women walked in. “Can I help you?” a waitress asked, as she looked, the women over. “Is their, is their um a Maria?” she trailed off she as saw who she was looking for. “Maria, Maria DeLuca I need to speak with you.” The women said running up to her. Maria looked at the women she saw out side her window. “I’ll call the police?” Jessica said looking between Maria and this woman who ran at Maria like a crazy women on drugs. “No need.” Maria said staring at her. “Please excuse me.” she said then to Mrs. McCabe. “We’ll have to reschedule.” Maria said looking at Mrs. McCabe. “That would be fine with me. Let me know when it well be a better time for you.” Mrs. McCabe said leaving. “Matthew I’ll be out for the day.” Maria said as she walks the young women out of her restaurant up the street to a packed park. “What is your name?” Maria asked looking at her. “I know you don’t know me. I mean I haven’t seen you since I was a little girl, but I have seen you. I mean I’ve watched you for a long time. I know I must be weirding you out, cause I’d be buggin to if I was in your spot.” She said looking at her. “Ok now I’m officially weirded out. Who are you?” Maria asked with her head tiled to the side. “My name is Tessa Toria DeLuca-Harding. I’m your sister, your twin.” Tess said looking at her. Staring at her in shock Maria couldn’t believe what this woman just told her, what Tess, this girl who said she was her sister just told her. “Well I’m not your identical twin but your twin none the fact. I mean were…” “I know what you’re talking about, but that can’t be so. I mean my mother would have told me something like that. I mean…” Maria was cut off by Tess voice. “It’s true, you know it. I mean you felt it as soon as I came within fifteen feet of your restaurant. I’m your twin, your sister.” Tess told her. “Look at me, you feel it as we speak, I’ve just been feeling it all my life.” “What do you wanted from me?” Maria asked standing up. She couldn’t handle this. Not right now, not when every thing else was going wrong in her life, not when her mother started lying to her. “Don’t go.” Tess said. Walking away Maria walked to her car in the parking lot. Tess followed. “Maria duck!” Tess yelled just as a man with a energy ball was about to throw at her but Tess called for it, “Energy Ball!” she yelled bring her hole arm back and throwing it at him. Standing up, Maria looked at her. “Ok what the hell was that?” She asked as Tess walked up to her. “That was your warlock or could be your demon!” Tess explained. “It’s a long story, where’s your car?” Tess asked as she followed Maria. Getting in Maria looked at Tess then started the car. -Manor- Maria parked her car in front of the Manor as Tess and her got out. Walking up the sidewalk she could see that her mother’s car was gone. Opening the door Maria called out for the others. “Izzy, Lizzy!” She called their name. “Where up in the attic.” Isabelle said as Liz looked threw ‘The Book of Shadows’. Opening the door, Maria looked around at all the stuff in the attic. “What is all this stuff?” she asked as she walked over toward Liz. “Witch stuff. Now come and look at this.” Liz said opening the book. Looking at the picture Maria was shocked to see the warlock or demon Tess was talking about was in the book. “Oooohhhhh.” Maria said. “That’s him.” “Who’s him?” Isabelle asked as she walked over there. “Who’s that?” Isabelle asked pointing to Tess. “Tess DeLuca-Harding.” she said smiling at Maria then the others. “Long story. But any ways this is the guy that attacked us.” Maria said reading over his profile. “Layered. Demon hired by the Source to gather power! He an upper level demon only called upon when deeply needed.” Maria said as she looked at Tess. “It’s a demon looking for something he needs.” Tess said walking over there. Isabelle, Liz and Maria looked at her. “What?” Tess asked. “Okay Demon IQ what dose he need?” Isabelle asked. “I would need this?” Layered said as he sent a fireball at Tess. Freezing it Maria looked at Isabelle to do something. Raising her hand Isabelle sent the fireball in the direction of Layered. Burning up, the girls stood together. “Whoa!” They said together. -Under Ground- “You’ve failed again Clay. Even when they weren’t the powerful ones. You keep messing up the mission. I think it’s time for Michael to go in and kill the witches.” Taryon said, as he looked at Clay (demon named Layered) in his human form. “Why are you still in your human form?” Taryon asked as his blue face stared at him. “I like my human f...” He was cut off, Taryon raised his hands and Clay burnt up to ash as Taryon walked away. “Call Rath.” he said as he shimmered to source. (That’s Michael demon name so don’t trip.) -Manor- Isabelle, Tess, Liz and Maria stood together as they looked at the ashes in front of them. “What the hell is going on?” Isabelle asked as she looked at Maria and some girl name Tess. “Isabelle, Elizabeth, this is Tessa DeLuca-Harding. Tess, this is Isabelle Evans my cousin and Elizabeth Parker my other cousin. Guys this is my sister Tess. My twin.” Maria said just as the doorbell rang. Walking down the stairs the girls gather around the door. Opening it Maria came face to face with deep brown eyes. “Hi!” the guy said staring at Maria. “Uh, Hi. Can I help you?” Maria asked staring at him. “I’m the repair man.” he said looking at all four of them. Stepping to the side Maria looked at Isabelle and Liz. “Yesterday, windows.” Isabelle said looking at Maria as her and Tess went back up stairs. “Names Maxwell Williams.” He said shacking Maria’s hand. Smiling up at him she couldn’t stop the feeling that were rolling off of him onto her. “Liz Parker.” Liz said looking at Max and then Maria. “Um Maria we need to go talked about that uh, work we need to finish.” Liz said pulling her to the side. Still looking at Max, Liz and Maria smiled at him. “I get dibs” Liz whispered as she walked away. “Too late.” Maria called to her. “Um the windows are over here?” Maria said leading him toward the broken windows. “Um I didn’t get your name?” Max said looking at her. Looking at him she smiled, “Maria DeLuca.” “Nice to meet you. You have a beautiful house. It’s really old.” Max said looking at around. “Yeah it’s been in the family a long time.” Maria said smiling at him as he went to work. “I know.” He whispered. “What did you say?” Maria asked. “Um, I would believe so. They don’t make wood like this any more.” Max said smiling at her. “This job should take about two to three weeks.” He said looking at her. “Take as much time as you would like.” Maria says looking at his butt. “Oh!” she said smiling to her self as she walked up the stairs. -Attic- “So your Maria twin. Whoa.” Liz said looking at her. She couldn’t believe but then again she could. Thing where happening every time they speak. Looking at her watch she screamed. “Damn, I’m late for a meeting.” Liz said running out of the attic and passed Maria. “Late for a meeting see ya tonight.” She said running into her room. “So?” Maria asked Isabelle and Tess. “Okay what we found out was that Tess is the totally IQ-queen on demons. She found what we need to know about Layered. He’s a human looking man when needed to be undercover. Usually when he’s going to kill a witch he changes forms, but he didn’t. Layered is usually hard to kill. Which means that we needed a spell to kill him. That means we need a slice of his skin just to kill him. So I’m guessing the jobs not done.” Isabelle said looking at Maria. “So we need Liz and her pow…” Max walking into the room cut off Tess. “Um do you have any tape?” He asked. “Um yeah, let me get it.” Maria said pulling Max out of the room. Looking back at them she said clean the room up. Shaking their heads they did just that. Putting the book back up on the stand. After getting the tape, Max told Maria that he would be back later that he had to go. Looking at him strange she said okay. Walking out of the front door, Maria didn’t see the blue light go with Max. |
