PART 4 Back with Zan & Michael Zan and Michael are about to walk into the house when someone jumps on Zans back. “What the hell!” Zan said as he tried to pull of whoever jumped on him. Michael finally gets the person off him. “What the fuck is your problem Tess?” “You and Max took my sister from her family that is what my problem is. Where is she?” Tess asked. “No body took your sister anywhere she didn’t want to go. Ava wanted to go, she hated it here. But you wouldn’t know that because you never listen to her, you just bossed her around. Your one of the reasons she ran away.” Zan said through gritted teeth. “Michael, you’ve been in contact with them and never told anyone, how could you do that!” Tess yelled at Michael never taking her eyes off of Zan. “This is the reason I never said anything. Everyone blames Zan and Max but guess what? It was Maria and Ava’s idea to runaways. Now either calm down and leave Zan alone or go home. You’re not ruining my time with my brother and parents. And you better not tell Kyle that Zan is here either.” Michael said then grabbed Zan’s arm ad was about to walk inside when they heard tires screech to a halt in front of the house. Zan pulled his arm free and took off towards the car as Maria got out and ran into Zan’s arms and started sobbing. Zan was to busy trying to calm Maria down and figure out what was wrong, while Michael and Tess were arguing with each other to see Kyle go after Zan. Zan never had a chance to protect himself from Kyle’s fist. Kyle pulled Zan off Maria. “You fucking bastard keep your hands off my sister.” Kyle screamed. Then went to kick Zan in the stomach, while he was still laying on the ground, when he felt a pair of strong arms go around him to pull him back. “KYLE STOP IT NOW. Zan, Maria get out of here.” Michael said as he struggled with Kyle. Maria helped Zan to his feet and they ran to their car and took off. After they were far enough away Michael pushed Kyle away. “Why did you stop me? He deserves everything I was going to do to him.” Kyle said through gritted teeth. “I’ve had enough of this shit. Kyle, your sister ran away to get away from you dad’s abusiveness to her and you because she was tired of your feud with Zan. It was Maria & Ava’s idea to run away. Zan & Max went with them to keep them safe from other people and there doing a great job at it. And you Tess hated the fact that Max didn’t want you your freshman year but wanted your sister. You treated Ava like shit when she was around even before Max. Now you want to be a good sister, well your not. Just like I’m not a good brother to Zan because if I was I wouldn’t have chosen my best friend over my own flesh and blood.” Michael half yelled, half talked, shocking both Kyle and Tess. “God, I love all of you. Tess you’re my girlfriend, Kyle you my best friend and have been since we were in grade school. I love Zan, he’s my brother, no my TWIN brother. Why can’t you all just drop this stupid feud already.” “No way it was Maria’s idea to run away. She had a great life here until she started dating Zan. All he wants is sex and he picked the right girl because Maria is a whore. Ask the male population of Roswell. She deserved everything she got from my father.” Kyle said, never did any of them hear Zan and Maria pull up and walk over as Michael was yelling at Kyle and Tess. “You asshole.” Maria said before she slapped Kyle across the face. Kyle was to stunned to comment, as were the other three. “You told me you never knew that dad was hitting me but you knew all along. Yes it was my idea to run away. Ava happened to come over one night I was packing my bag. I told her I was running away she said she wanted to come with me but Max found us and talked us out of that time. Then dad and I got into a huge fight and he hit me yet again, that was it but then you came in saying you got into another fight with Zan and Zan got suspended for it again. It also happened that day Ava and Tess got into another fight about her being a slut for dating Max or something along those lines but what did it in for Ava was when Tess smacked her across the face because Ava was finally standing up for herself. Ava and I went to Zan that night to tell him goodbye when we got there, tho and behold Zan was leaving too. We decided we’d better call Max and let him know not to worry about us but he decided to come with us because we were is only friends left. So tell me Kyle and Tess, how does it feel to realize it was your fault that you made your sisters run away.” Now Maria had tears silently running down her face, as well as Tess. “You actually hit your sister?” Michael asked as he turned towards Tess. She just nodded yes. “And here I was feeling sorry for you because your sister left, even knowing you two never got along, and it was your fault she left.” “Also for your information Kyle, I haven’t slept with Zan or anyone for that matter. I can actually say that Zan loves me but can you say that about your relationship with Isabel. Michael I’m sorry I ruined your time with your brother but we are leaving. One last thing Kyle, get Jim and Amy to sign those papers for me then I’ll be out of hair forever.” With that said Maria hugged Michael and went to get in the car. “See you bro. I will call you and keep you updated on us. Tell mom and dad that I love them and I wish I could have spent sometime with them.” Zan said then hugged Michael. He was on his way back to the car when Tess ran towards them. “Tell Ava I’m sorry, I love and miss her. I’m sorry I treated you like shit Zan. Please have her call me.” ”I won’t be telling her to call you because your parents still have her reported as a run away. Plus she doesn’t know we are here and I’m not sure she would really care anymore. I don’t care how you have treated me, it’s Max you should be saying sorry to.” Zan said as he got into the car. Kyle just stood there still in shock at what Maria had said. Zan and Maria pulled away as tears still silently slid down Maria’s cheeks, as she watched Kyle disappear the further they drove from him. |
