PART 3 With Maria Maria is standing outside of her parents house, calming her nerves to deal with her father. Maria knocks on the door and is shocked to see Kyle open it up. “Where’s Zan?” Kyle asked as he walks past her looking for him. “Well I’m glad he’s the only one you want to see but Zan’s not here with me. Is mom and dad here? I need them to sign these papers before I leave.” Maria said obviously hurt by Kyle’s reaction to her. “They’re inside with the Hardings and Isabel. Where is Ava?” Kyle asked. Maria just ignored him and walked inside. When her mom saw her she ran to her and pulled her into a hug but Maria just pulled away. “I’m not here to stay but it is not like you guys even care, considering you gave up the search for me then say I won’t be allowed in this house if I come back. No, Ava is not with me. She doesn’t want to come back here. The only reason I’m here is so that you guys will sign these.” Maria said as she put the papers in her fathers hands. Jim looked them over and laughed in her face. “You actually think we would sign these then allow you to leave again to be with Zan. I don’t think so little girl.” Jim said before he went up to her and grabbed her arm and started pulling her toward her old room. “LET ME GO.” Maria screamed. Then she did the first thing that came to her mind. She kicked her father between the legs as hard as she could and he went down like a rock. She took this opportunity to run out the door. She didn’t hear someone follow her but could hear her father’s voice. “Get back here you little bitch, you will pay for that little stunt.” But she just kept running until she reached her car. She got in and gunned it to the Guerin’s, to her safety of Zan. |
