Part 8 Outside The Crashdown “Why did you just run out like that?” Kyle asked Maria when he caught up with her. “I just had to get out of there. It was getting to serious for my liking. Why are you out here and not in there with everyone else?” Maria asked. “Because after you left, Isabel, Liz & I took off to let Max and Michael talk. Plus I didn’t want you to go home and get scarred for life?” Kyle answered. “Why would I get scarred for life?” “My dad’s at your place tonight with your mother. He asked me to keep you at our place tonight.” “That’s just wrong. I didn’t want that mental picture, Kyle. You know I’ll be staying at your place now. I wonder how Max and Michael’s talk is going.” “It went perfectly well.” Max said coming up behind Maria and Kyle making them spin around quickly. “Damn it Max. You scared the shit out of us.” Kyle said. “Sorry, what are you two talking about?” Max asked. “Our parents and me staying at Kyle’s tonight since his father is with my mother at my house.” Maria answered as she walked to Max and gave him a kiss. “Enough you two. Did you happen to see Isabel before you came out?” Kyle asked Max. “No, she was still with Liz. Why don’t you go get her then the four of us can go back to your place and hang out.” Max answered. “Sounds good to me. What about you Maria?” “Sounds good to me too.” Maria replied before she turned and started walking back to the Crashdown followed by Kyle and Max. “We’ll wait out here while you go get Isabel.” “Okay, be right back.” With that said Kyle disappeared into the Crashdown. “Are you mad me about my confession?” Max asked. Maria turned around and wrapped her arms around Max’s waist. “Why would I be mad. If you hadn’t kissed me, things wouldn’t have turned out this way. Of course I could have lived with the whole Doug thing but other then that I’m glad how things turned out.” “I’m glad too. I would never have been as happy with Liz as I am with you. Same thing about Liz, Michael will make her happier then I would have ever made her. But I love you with all my heart and that is how it will be for the rest of my life.” “I love you too.” Maria said before she pulled Max down to kiss her. “Will you two break it up or we will never get Kyle’s place.” Isabel said as she walked out of the Crashdown with Kyle behind. Max and Maria reluctantly pulled apart and started towards the Jeep. Isabel and Kyle fell in step behind them. |
