PART 7 |
Michael and Max kept looking at each other, neither knew what to say. Finally Max decided to talk. “So how pissed are you at me?” Max asked finally looking away from Michael. “I’m not pissed. I’m shocked as hell but piss no. Like I said before I was glad that I saw that kiss. Who knows where we’d be if you hadn’t kissed Maria. I could still be with her and not be as happy as I am now. You could still be with Liz pinning away for Maria and been unhappy. But you did kiss Maria and now we are all with the people we should be with.” Michael answered. “Very true. I’m still sorry about what I did because I could have turned out differently then it has.” Max said. “You should be sorry because you took five different relationships into you hands with that kiss. It could have been more relationships then that because of Isabel and Kyle would have been stuck in the middle.” “I knew all of that but I had to kiss her. I risked it all for just a kiss with Maria and I would do it all over again if I had too.” “She kissed you too. You both were guilty for the kiss and not telling is until now, over a year later.” “God Michael, they al left because they thought we were going to fight. I think that’s the quickest we’ve been able to clear out a room before. Most of the time they separate us but not this time. They left us to fight this out.” Max said with a smile. “It was pretty amusing how quick they came up with some excuse to leave except for Maria she just left. I hope Kyle found her, she shouldn’t be out their alone.” Michael said with his usual smirk. “She didn’t leave she is still outside with Kyle.” Max replied. “How do you know that?” Michael asked. Max pointed to Maria and Kyle standing outside waiting at Max’s jeep. Maria looked annoyed that she had to wait for Max. Michael couldn’t help it he started laughing causing Max to join. “That is so Maria.” “Well I better go. I’m staying with Maria tonight so if you need me I will have my cell on.” Max said, then stood up said goodbye and left Michael sitting in the booth alone. |
