Part 3 Chapter 3 Hospital Max and Sheriff Valenti are waiting to hear about Maria “Sheriff, did you call her mother?”  Max asked “No, Maria is eighteen now.  I will let her know when we find out what is going on with her.”  Valenti replied.  Max and Jim were in their own thoughts when the doctor came out. “Ms. Deluca is going to be fine.  She has a couple black eyes and cut on her face.  She will also be in some pain.  Her attacker did in fact rape her.  She did ask for Max.”  The doctor said “I’m Max.  Can I see her tonight?” “I will allow you back there because she asked for you but I’m not suppose to unless you are family.” “Thank you doctor.”  Max said and walked through the doors to Maria. “Maria, I’m here.”  Max said as he walked towards her. “Max.”  Was all Maria could get out before she started crying again.  Max grabbed her into his arms.  She held on to him for dear life to feel safe again. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there.”  Max said into her ear “Max, we know the guy who did this to me.”  Maria said.  Max just looked at her.  He took her hand and made a connection.  He was bombarded with flashes. <Flash> Maria walking in the park. <Flash> Someone was grabbing her from behind. <Flash> A guy slapped her.  Making her fall to the ground. <Flash> Guy ripping her shirt open.  Slapped her again. <Flash> Guy undoing his pants and slapping her again. <Flash> The guy slamming inside of her. <Flash> Guy pulled up his pants after he is fully satisfied.  Slaps her again.  Guy looks up and shows his face then runs off leaving her there. “I’m going to kill him.”  Max said after he broke the connection.  He got up and ran out of the room past the sheriff to outside. “Max NO!”  Maria said as he ran out the door.
