{TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES LATER} Kyle, Isabel, Michael and Liz walked into the Crashdown, which is crowded with a bunch of their high school buddies, and found a booth. Next Maria and Max walked in hand in hand and walked over to Isabel, Kyle, Michael and Liz and sat down. All eyes were on the two as they sat down. Isabel and Maria started talking. “Is it me or is everyone looking at us.” Maria said. “No it’s not you. Just ignore it. So what time on Saturday do you want me to pick you up?” Isabel asked with a smile. “Whatever time you want me to be ready I will be ready.” “How about I pick you up at 10 am. How about you guys meet us for lunch at around 1:30 here then we can all hang out after that.” Isabel suggested. “Sounds good to me. Liz are you coming with us?” Maria asked. “If you guys want me too. I mean I’d understand if you didn’t want me there. I haven’t been the nicest person to you.” Liz said. “NO you haven’t but neither has Isabel but her and I decided to work on a friendship. Why don’t you and I try too.” Maria said with a smile. “I like that.” Liz said. “Yeah me too.” Michael added with a relief smile. “Could you excuse me I have to go talk to Tess and Alex.” Maria said and went to get up. She noticed people still staring at their table so she leaned over and gave Max a passionate kiss. “Now you’re giving them a show.” Kyle joked when every bodies jaw dropped when Maria kissed Max. “Well, they wanted something to stare at so I gave them something to stare at. I will be right back.” Maria said then walked to the back to find Alex and Tess staring at her. “Nice show you put on out there.” Alex said with a smile. “Thanks. Actually I came back here to tell you I can’t work for awhile. I’m not sure how much you two have heard about what happen the other night.” Maria said. “We don’t know anything except that you were in the hospital. The sheriff told us that when he came in and told us you wouldn’t be in for a couple of nights.” Tess explained. “Well, after I left the other night after my fight with Isabel. My adopted father, Jerry, came home really drunk and beat the shit out of me. Max, Kyle and Michael saved my life. I was able to get to the phone and call Max when Jerry left the room for a minute. Max and I told each other how we felt about each other. Isabel, Liz and I are going to work on a friendship and now I live with Kyle and the Sheriff.” “Wow I thought the bruises were a lot for that fight with Isabel. So why exactly can’t you work?” Alex asked. “Jerry broke a few of my ribs so I can’t lift anything for awhile. I’m not going back to school until Monday. Jim won’t let me.” Maria said. “That’s cool. I will make Alex waitress while your gone.” Tess said with a smile. “Does he get to wear the waitress uniform too?” Maria joked. “I don’t think so. I will cover for you but I will not be wearing any kind of uniform.” Alex said. “Oh come on I need a good laugh.” Tess said with a smile. “Well I got to get back to Max now. I’ll talk to you later.” Maria said. “Get better soon. We will miss you while your not here.” Alex said then gave Maria a hug. “Yeah, see you later.” Tess said, then Maria walked out to her table. “Sorry it took so long.” Maria said as she took her seat then leaned over and gave Max a kiss. “Do we get kisses too?” Kyle asked. “Of course.” Maria answered then kissed Kyle’s and Michael’s cheek, which made everyone laugh. “Hey, that’s my man you’re kissing on.” Isabel joked. “Yeah I know. I will do it again if you like.” Maria replied with a laugh. “I’d like that?” Kyle said as he kept the joke going. “That’s my girl you’re wanting to kiss mister.” Max said with a laugh. “Yeah, she is your girl but she will be leaving with me.” Kyle joked. “Oh really, she might be leaving with you but she will always be my girl.” Max joked back. “Okay you two, I’m sitting right here. I won’t be leaving with you Kyle, I will be leaving with Max and yes will always be your girl Max.” Maria said then leans over and kisses Max again. “You two enough with the kissing already. What are we doing after this?” Michael asked. “Well I have to go home, I’m tired and my stomach is starting to hurt.” Maria said. “Plus I forgot my pain pills at home.” “I will take you home. Michael can bring Kyle back to your place. Oh yeah Kyle I’m staying at your place tonight.” Max said. “Fine with me. It’s not like you’ll be staying in my room.” Kyle said. “My dad might have a problem with you sleeping in Maria’s room.” “He’s working tonight. He won’t be home until morning.” Maria told them. “How long have you two been planning this?” Michael asked with a smirk. “We didn’t plan anything but I sleep better with him holding me. At the hospital I slept without waking up of nightmares because he was they’re holding me. I need a good nights sleep. I don’t think Jim would mind because he knows we’re not going to do anything. At least not yet.” Maria said with an evil grin. “Okay that was to much info about my brothers sex life.” Michael said. “There wasn’t anything about sex said Michael.” Max said. “What Michael? Are you jealous that your brother is going to have sex and your not.” Isabel said with a smirk. “How do you know that I’m not.” Michael said. “Because your not, I know unless you have another girlfriend.” Liz said. Now everyone was at Michael. “What are you laughing at Kyle your not getting any either.” Michael said with a smirk. “How would you know Michael.” Kyle said as he looked at Isabel hoping she wouldn’t say anything but that didn’t happen. “Your not. None of us are getting any at this time.” Isabel said. “Well we better go.” Maria said as she stood up and grabbed Max’s hand. “Better tell our gawkers bye.” “See you guys tomorrow at school. Kyle stay away from my house if my parents are home.” Max said. “Okay, see you later.” Kyle said as Max and Maria left. “I bet they will be having sex within 2 weeks.” Michael said after they were gone. “I give them a month.” Isabel added her thought. “I bet it will be longer then that because of what happened to Maria. I believe they are ready to have sex next.” Kyle said. “What exactly happen to Maria?” Liz asked. “I think you should ask Maria about that. I don’t know if she will want anyone else to know.” Michael said. “Okay that is understandable. I’ll ask her Saturday when we go shopping. I better go my mother wants me home earlier today because I have school work to do.” Liz said. Then she kissed Michael and left followed by Kyle, Isabel & Michael. |
