***Couple Hours Later*** Kyle, Tess, Isabel, and Alex are sitting in Maria’s kitchen with Maria and Max. They are explaining what happened when Liz came by. “I can’t believe she actually came over here.” Tess said. “Me either. You should of heard Mr. Parker after you guys left earlier. Talk about being pissed. Michael was still in the handcuffs with a deputy holding him, Liz was trying to get Michael to calm dawn, and Mr. Parker was yelling at the both of them. Fired them both in front of everyone. It was great.” Kyle added. “Well, they have there jobs back. That was the reason Liz came over to apologize so she could get their jobs back.” Max said. “Are you pressing charges against Michael?” Isabel asked. “No, but I will let him spend the night in jail. I will tell Jim in the morning. I do think he deserves to spend at least one night in jail for what he did tonight.” Maria answered. “Personally I think your letting him off easy.” Alex said. “I didn’t come back to cause problems with Liz and Michael. If he tries anything again that is another story.” Maria replied. “I’m hoping that they don’t cause a scene every time they see us together.” Max said as he leaned over and kissed Maria. “Don’t be worried because if they do, you will have all if us to protect you.” Kyle said. “So how does it feel to be back in Roswell?” Isabel asked. “It feels good. I missed you guys so much while I was gone. If it hadn’t been for finding out about Laney then having her, I’d probably be dead.” Maria said as tears slid down her face. “What are you talking about Maria?” Max asked. “That’s how I found out about her. I tried to kill my self, cut my wrists. I was taking to the hospital. A couple of the workers found me laying in my blood, they called an ambulance. Fixed me right up when I got there. Before I left the doctor told me I was three months pregnant. I knew then that I had something to live for.” Maria explained. “My Aunt never heard about that incident. She was here in Roswell when I cut my wrists. She was home when I was let out of the hospital. I told everything that happened in Roswell up until the day I left except for you guys being aliens. I told that I was at the doctors and she couldn’t see the bandages around my wrist because I wore long sleeve shirts until I was heal enough to take of the bandages. I never told anyone about that night, but I’ll always have a reminder of my weakest moment.” Maria showed them her wrists and the scars. Then she got up and ran from the kitchen. Everyone was in complete and total shock at when Maria just confessed to them. “I should go see if she’s okay.” Isabel said. “Of course she isn’t okay Isabel. She just told us she tried to kill herself. I will go you stay here.” Max said and stood up but before he left he turned to his friends, “Actually I think you all should go and leave of us to talk. Isabel tell mom and dad I won’t be home tonight. I’m not trying to be rude but I think she doesn’t want to face all of us at once. You all can come back in the morning and talk to her once she is settled down. And don’t saying anything about what she just told us.” “Okay we will go but if you need us don’t be afraid to call us. We will be here as quickly as possible. And we won’t say anything.” Alex said the grabbed Isabel and left followed by Kyle and Tess. |
