Chapter 11
{Crashdown}

Jim, Amy, Kyle, and Tess are sitting at the table waiting for Max, Maria, Laney, Isabel, and Alex arrive from telling Max’s parents.

“I wonder if Liz and Michael are working today?” Tess said.

“I don’t know but we will see soon.” Kyle said as Max came in carrying Laney’s car seat followed by Maria, Isabel, and Alex.

“Sorry we are late. It took a little longer then we thought it would with Max’s parents.” Maria said as she was picking up her daughter. When no one was paying attention their waitress came over to them. Maria still had her back to the waitress.

“Can I get you guys something to drink?” Came Liz’s voice, which made Maria turn around. “Maria is that you.” Liz said loud which got people’s attention.

“Hello Liz. It’s been awhile.” Maria said while smiling at Liz.

“When did you get back? Whose baby?” Liz asked then looked over her shoulder when she heard the door from the back open and there stood Michael. Which also got Maria’s attention.

“Hello Michael.” Maria said still smiling.

“Maria!” Was all Michael could say because he couldn’t take his eyes off the baby she was holding.

“Liz I got back about a hour or so ago. This baby is my daughter Laney.” Maria said then kissed her daughter on the forehead.

“Who’s the father?” Michael asked knowing that the baby wasn’t his.

“I am.” Max replied.

“Excuse me, did I hear you right. That baby is yours?” Michael replied with venom.

“Why do you care Michael? It really is none of your business.” Maria said as she handed Laney to her mother and walked around the table closer to Max and Kyle.

“How old is she?”

“Three months. She was born in March.” Maria replied. Liz and Michael were quiet while they were calculating when the baby was conceived.

“You couldn’t even wait a couple hours after we broke up before you fucked my best friend.” Liz said.

“Actually Liz she wasn’t your best friend anymore.” Max said with a smirk.

“You fucked my girlfriend. You were suppose to be my best friend Maxwell.” Michael said with even more venom. “Wait, Maria is that why you wouldn’t fuck me because you wanted my best friend.”

“Michael you have a lot of nerve to even get mad. You had been fucking Courtney for six months. I wasn’t your girlfriend Michael. I had broke up with you and yes I didn’t have sex with you because I had feeling for Max.”

“YOU FUCKING SLUT.” Michael said as he stepped closer to Maria with his fist clenched. “I can’t believe I ever dated someone like you.”

“I’m the slut. I don’t think so buddy. I wasn’t with you when I made love to Max. You were with me when you fucked Courtney for six months of our relationship. I would say that you were the SLUT not me. Who else was there Michael beside Courtney?” Maria said with a lot of anger in her voice but she still stepped back from Michael.

“Come on Liz tell her what you think? Tell her what a slut she is. I wouldn’t get to far away from Alex Isabel he could be next. I mean if she told Max that she loved him then it is all over.” Michael said.

“Michael, shut the hell up.” Alex said while standing up.

“What are you going to do Alex? Nothing so sit the fuck down.” Michael said this time grabbing onto Maria. “Come on Maria you said you loved me too. Why don’t you show me how much like you did Maxwell.” Michael then kissed Maria. As soon as he started kissing Maria four different guys went after him.

“Get the fuck off her.” Max said as he grabbed Michael but Michael used some of and pushed Max away and proceeded to grab the front of Maria’s shirt and rip it open. Maria was now getting scared she had tears running down her face and was trying to push Michael off. Finally Jim, Kyle, and Alex all tackled Michael who still had a hold of Maria and also took her down with him. Max reached them right after they fell and got Maria free of Michael’s grip on her. Maria just leaned against Max in complete shock with tears still running down her face.

“Michael you are under arrest.” Jim said then turn to Liz. “Liz please call the station and get Hanson here ASAP.”

“I can’t do that Sheriff.” Liz said before she walked into the back room. Maria couldn’t believe what she just heard. She got out of Max’s hold and went after Liz.

“What is your problem Liz?” Maria asked now with pure hatred.

“My problem is you. I knew that Max had feeling for you when I broke up with him actually when I got back with him. I just didn’t think that you would hurt someone you called your friend.” Liz said with a lot of anger.

“Liz get over yourself. I didn’t betray you or Michael. You broke up with Max, not the other way around. It wasn’t anybody else’s fault that our friendship ended but yours. By asking me to quit hanging out with Max. That I couldn’t be friends with him. I had to choose between the two of you. Beside if you were so worried about Max and mine friendship being more then just friends, why in hell did you go back with him?”

“Maria I think you, Max, and your love child should leave and don’t come back. And Michael was right you are a fucking slut.” Liz said.

“Don’t worry I won’t be back. I can’t believe I never realized what a bitch you really are.” With that said Maria walked back out front. Someone had called the police because Michael was now in handcuffs. “Max I want to leave this place. Sorry about the disturbance everyone. I didn’t know this would happen. Tess, Kyle, Isabel, and Alex you can come back to my place. I don’t want Laney around this place any
longer.”

“We will meet you later.” Tess answered for everyone. Max had Laney in her car sear and was waiting at the door for Maria. Maria turned to Michael and said.

“I can’t believe what I ever saw in you. Don’t come near me, Max, or my daughter ever.” Maria then walked out.
