Two of the crew of the ship Doubt, Captain Teasdale, stranded last fall on the Labrador coast, have arrived in town. The leaky state of the schooner they had taken their passage in for Quebec, compelled them to put into Grand, or South West Bay, on the Island of Anticosti, on the 6th December. Here, while they were endeavouring to repair the vessel, she was suddenly frozen up. At this place, they passed the winter on a short allowance of provisions - half a pound of flour and one pound of horse flesh each person per day. They report that Colonel Caldwell's 3 masted schooner was wrecked on the Island last fall, crew saved.
