Captain Boyd, of the London, wrecked at Bic on the 27th ultimo, arrived in town on Saturday last, together with Captain James Patterson, who was a passenger in the London. The vessel will be entirely lost, part of the cargo has been saved. | ||

wharf, for the benefit of the underwriters and other concerned,
the following articles saved from the ship London, wrecked on the
Island of Bic. Six pipes port wine of an uncommon good quality, 5 hogsheads superior French wine, 4 hogsheads treacle, 3 good boats, cables, hawsers, anchors, sails, rigging, new rope, cabin furniture and a variety of other materials. Also, the hull of the said ship as it now is, or was laying wrecked on said Island. Sale to begin at one o'clock by: |

The subscriber, agent to James Dunlop, Esquire, having dispatched several lighters for the merchandise and effects on board the above ship, lately stranded on Crane Island, requests the proprietors or consignees to meet at the Union Hotel on Wednesday the 3rd proximo, at two o'clock in the afternoon, in order to consult upon and adopt such mode of proceeding as may tend most to the benefit of the concerned. The proprietors or consignees who cannot be present at the meeting will be pleased to authorize some person to appear on their behalf. |
