Gideon is our darkness and our strength. He is the repository of our trauma and the pain we live with as a result of this trauma. Gideon lives in the vast array of tunnels that lie beneath our inner land. Here, and in the cave and the brick building in our inner backyard, he kept many of us safe until we were strong enough to come out and be part of the outside world.

Gideon does not have a body or an age, and while technically he also cannot have a gender, we perceive him as a having the nature of a male big. He is the polar opposite of ~Light~, whom we perceive as female, and they must work together for us to maintain an inner balance.

The name Gideon means "he who brings down with repeated blows." It represents how he enables us to be victorious over those who would try to defeat us.
