The Way - Drew's Page

I am Drew, a 23-year-old female. My given name is Alexandra Drew, which means "skilled defender." I prefer to be called by my middle name because it is gender-neutral and therefore adds to my effectiveness as a protector.

I consider myself to be somewhat atypical of protectors in that I am rather low-key in my approach to dealing with the outside world. While I understand the role that emotions play for many protectors, I believe that a more subdued demeanor helps me to be most effective.

Among my interests are Native American cultures and the Tao Te Ching. The word "Tao" (pronounced "Dao") means "The Way," and is the basis for the title of this page. The Chinese symbol for Tao is the basis for the page's background graphic.

I intend to add further content on these topics once I am certain I can do so in a respectful, well-informed manner, and have the resources to do so.
