The following players were named National Player of the week by U.S. College Hockey Online during the 2000-2001 season. Congratulations!


2/14/01 -
Senior Erik Westrum received the honor after the Gophers swept MSU-Mankato. Westrum had 2 goals and 2 assists in Fridays 4-1 win and 2 assists in Saturdays 3-1 win for a total of 6 points for the week-end.


2/21/01 -
Goalie Adam Hauser was named National Offensive player of the week after stopping 50 of 52 shots in the Gophers sweep over Colorado College. The Gophers had a 6-1 victory on Friday, followed by a 4-1 win on Saturday.
