How to Milk a Goat ~
It is very easy to milk a goat. All you do is pinch the teat and then squeeze her udder
and milk should come out. It does not hurt the goat. Here is how to milk a goat step by step:
1. First put the goat in a milk stand.
2. After you do that, get warm soapy water,or baby wipes, and wash the doeÕs udder and wash your hands.
3. Then rinse her udder off with non-soapy water, if you use the baby wipes you donÕt have to rinse the udder off.
4. After you wash her udder, milk her milk into a strainer with a  jar or milk pan under the strainer.
5. When you are done milking, put the milk in a freezer, because the faster you get the milk cold it tastes better.
You should milk a doe twice a day to keep her milk production going if she has no kids
nursing on her. If she has kids, you can milk her once a day and let the kids be with her the other time.
To Get The Best Tasting Milk ~
When you are done milking, get the milk to a freezer as soon as posible. We have found out that the sooner the milk gets cold the better tasting it is. It does not have that goatie tast that most people do not like.  We have found out that it does not matter if the doe is with a buck, Or what she eats, it does not effect the goats milk. Hope it works for you!
