Where were you on that shocking day Were you in a church kneeling down to pray Did you blame God above Or did you understand with His gracious love Did you put the government to blame After watching it all it you called His name What were you thinking on that day Were you there on that disturbing day |

On that day we became one nation; united in every way As we watched our towers fall; when terriorists made their day Yet, we cried out with every pain Praying it would never happen again Were we safe within our walls Was God with our children in the halls Then why did we remove prayer from the school Yet we tried living by the Golden Rule |

Where were you, when God heard their cries As He watched with tearful eyes Why weren't we protected from that plane Why were we so willing to these terriorist train It seems quite clear to me, my friend We didn't have the strength, nobody who would defend Yet, now we fight again with pride Will we hold God near to us at our side |

Do you think God will understand When we take Him out of our home and land Perhaps He'll leave as we send Him away When comes another horrible terrorist day Don't let them take from us our freedom Let's march together into His Kingdon Stand up for God and make things right Tell them you're blessed with God's wonderful light |
