What If? -a YYH/RK crossover Part 3 ---------------------------------------- Hiei-chan yawned. He was bored, bored, BORED! He wished he could go outside with Kurama-chan and play. The ningen Kurama-chan called Yamada-sensei had been droning on for more than an hour now. Maybe he could use his Kokuryuuha on him. The thought made him brighten. Then, remembering Kurama-chan's promises of Dire Consequences if he misbehaved...Hiei-chan sighed and went back to counting the number of spitballs attached to the ceiling. * * * * * Kurama smiled as he felt Hiei-chan sagging against him. Rearranging Hiei-chan more comfortably against him, he went back to listening to Yamada-sensei's lecture on the principles of Quantum Mechanics. * * * * * "Minamino-kun, is that your little brother? He's so kawaii!" Kurama turned to the source of the voice, one of his female classmates, a pretty girl who headed the fan club that had inevitably formed in this university. Hiei-chan's expression began to darken. "Uh, no, Suzuki-san," he replied politely. "Hiei-chan is a cousin from the province." "It's so nice of you to take care of him then, Minamino-kun," she cooed, sidling up to him. "It's not often that a boy will agree to babysit. And he's so adorable too, aren't you Hiei-chan?" She reached out to pinch Hiei-chan's cheek. Hiei-chan's eyes widened in outrage and his expression darkened even more. He didn't like being patronized. He ESPECIALLY didn't like the way this ningen female was staring at HIS Kurama-chan. Small black flames began to appear along the bandages on his right arm. Kurama noticed the signs of Impending Disaster and quickly made his excuses and ran off, clapping a hand on Hiei-chan's arm. He really needed to work on Hiei-chan's social skills if he was going to keep him. No telling what might happen otherwise.
