Trine awoke to the ringing of a phone, she groaned as she picked it up and answered. "Where are you, it's after noon and you're supposed to be at the studio by now" shouted Brian from the other end of the phone. "Why" mumbled Trine through a pillow trying to sleep and hide her toxic morning breath. "For your anime movie, "Trine vs. the Deymons" now I know that I didn't tell you about it till a few months ago but you should be up by now" replied Brian. "Uh huh, whatever" mumbled Trine as she set the phone back down and continued to sleep. Suddenly the phone rang again and again, by this time Trine was tired of messing around. She gurgled the spit from her mouth before she picked up the phone shouted a swear as loud as she could, slammed the phone against the desk before she slammed the phone back on the receiver. She was now sleeping peacefully before a shock went through her system, but this wasn't an electrical shock it was a very powerful warning sign. She opened her left eye a crack, it glowed softly for the brown stripe the top gave it a power of its own. She looked back and forth till she found what she was meant to see; a Deymon with out a human hostage was creeping across her ceiling with a dagger in its mouth. Trine waited till the Deymon was directly above her and dropped, Trine rolled off the bed as the dagger punctured the mattress. In one quick motion Trine was able to punch the Deymon, and have him knocked off the bed. She quickly summoned her armor and pulled out Dey Slayer and slashed the Deymon, the blow knocked the Deymon out into the hall where it started to laugh. Trine slowly approached and stood over the Deymon who seemed to be barely hanging onto life. "Good, you survived. Just like master said you would,” said the Deymon as he pulled out a small scroll and held it to Trine. "Whats it to me?" asked Trine as she took the scroll. "Master wants this to be a warning, Master says the you will fall. Master will soon be having your wings to eat,” replied the Deymon as it disintegrated. Trine slowly opened the note and read it. "Dear Deymon Slayer, "Your demise is soon, there are two Deymons with black eyes. You will never live long enough to see them though, I will make sure of that" "Boy that was a crappy threat" said Trine as she crumpled up the note and tossed it into the trashcan. "Well since I'm up and I have my armor still with me, I might as well go to the studio" said Trine as she opened her window and carefully crawled through for having three pairs of wings was sometimes a pain. How she knew where the studio was she wasn't going to care for she had arrived and was not all that eager to do this. An hour later they had recorded all of Trine's lines for the movie and was free to go. She decided to stick around for a while and see how the artists were drawing the movie, as she watched them draw she noticed that one of them was having trouble drawing her with her armor on. She then tapped her on the shoulder and posed, the artist was overjoyed that she was able to draw a something in real life rather than in a blurry photo. When the artist finished, Trine's armor disappeared and she was able to move more freely. When she spotted Brian talking to some of the models that were hanging around she decided that it was time for some payback. She quickly pushed Brian out of the group of models and drew all of them close with her wings; she then began to whisper to them. When she finished she removed her wings and began to walk away with a smile upon her face. As Trine walked away the models then looked at Brian who was brushing himself off, suddenly all the models burst out laughing. The fifteen-year-old Brian quickly turned beat red as he raced after Trine. "What did you tell them?" shouted Brian. "Nothing, except how old you were when you finally stopped sleeping in your parents room" replied Trine as Brian's eyes went wide. "H-how did you find out about that?" asked Brian. "Well one night just after the Deymon attack that made our families bite the dust your father became very drunk and I decided that it would be safe for him if I stayed and kept him out of trouble. And several embarrassing things about you came out" replied Trine. "I remember that night, but why did you have to tell them?" asked Brian in a whinny voice. "You need to learn your lesson, leave me be" replied Trine as he left eye glowed warningly. "I can't, I'm your manager" replied Brian as he hit his chest with his right hand. "Whatever" said Trine as she turned and began to walk away, but before Brian could say anything she leapt into the air and began to fly through the studio looking for the exit. When she found that she was lost she had to ask a stagehand where the exit was, he pointed and she followed his directions and soon found the exit. At the speed that she was going as the left the studio, her after wind almost tipped over a nearby dressing trailer. As she flew over the city of Houston she began to wonder why she had become so angry over a small thing like that, she figured that it was just the dragon part of her. She then remembered the note that the Deymon had given her; she then decided that she should tell the Dragons about it. She increased her wing speed till her wings were a blur; she aimed up at the sky and braced herself. She then began to feel weak and disoriented by still kept going; the feelings disappeared as she entered the atmosphere of the invisible moon. The moon was like Earth only smaller and full of dragons of every type, size, and alignment. Trine then flew to the lair of Dragons, as she dropped down into the open lair she found that the dragons did not come to greet her. She then sent out a call, and was not answered. It was then she felt that something was terribly wrong. |
