Dear Family of God, let us pray! Most Gracious Heavenly Father, United we pray that You will turn this horrible situation that has hit our US to Your good immediately! We pray that you will be with the families that have been affected by all that has happened! We pray as a United Body in Christ Jesus, that You will intercede immediately! Oh Precious Father how our hearts are grieving this morning for all that is happening to this earth that You have given to mankind! Father, we praise You and we ask that You give us Your wings of Eagles this day and those that follow. We ask this in Jesus Holy Name in Prayer without ceasing.
-------------------------------------
Father, have mercy upon those of your children who have died such horrendous deaths this morning. Please give their families the strength to endure this tragedy and to make it through the weeks of mourning that will come. Harden not our hearts, Father, in the face of this adversity. We ask that enlighten our leaders with Your wisdom and that you protect us and forgive us our sins. Thank you, Father, for all you have done for us and we ask that you hold us in the palm of Your hand. We ask this through your son, Jesus. Amen

National Prayer

Lord, we come to You on bended knee,
heads bowed and our hearts filled to overflowing
with so much grief for the many people who have
been injured and killed in our National crisis.

We ask you Lord, to give courage
and strength to those who so bravely
go to their aid. And though their hearts will
be heavy and filled with sorrow we ask Lord
that You give them the endurance needed
to help them through this difficult task.

Please give us the strength Lord,
to get through each difficult and devastating
day that faces each of us and our country.
Protect and guide our Military that
are now being called to duty.

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders
of our great country in their hour of decision.
The burden that has been placed on their
shoulders during this crisis is overwhelming.
We ask that with Your infinite wisdom you
guide them gently to the right decisions.

And lastly Lord, we ask that you
allow us all to come together as a Nation,
to stand tall and united, so that we might
help each other in our hour of need.
Amen

Words can not express the sorrow and disbelief that we feel at this time.  We must come together as a nation and pray and we must not give in to the evil emotion of hate.  It is very hard to forgive the people responsible for this.  The Lord asks us to forgive our transgressors.  We am praying very diligently that all of us can do this very difficult thing.  Right now, we am having a seriously difficult time with this forgiveness of whomever is responsible for all of these tragedies.  Please pray about this with us, and The Lord's will be done.

Dear Heavenly Father
Create in me a clean heart, O Lord
And renew a right spirit within me
Caste me not away from Thy presence
and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation
and uphold me with Thy Free Spirit

In Jesus Name
I pray,
Amen

And God Wept....

I awoke to the terror
of airplanes falling from the sky,
Heaven's gates are fully opened
Why did so many have to die??

Many brave Angels,
Found their way home today
Innocent lives sacrificed,
Someone's careless debt paid.

There was no lesson in the suffering,
Too many lives were lost
In the name of who you stand for
How much worth, what did it cost?

The world is turning upside down,
God now, surely weeps.
To look upon the death of his children
For those now, forever asleep.

Take a moment to remember,
Those souls forever lost
And remember that with every action
There always is a cost.

I just sat today about three hours looking in TV what has happened in New York.  I am completely horrified with the terrible images and the whole situation in what the American people are involved now.

When I looked to all those scenes I must say I fell myself ashamed to belong to the human being race who can provocate such a terror...
All my solidarity to all Americans and others who have family or friends in New York.

My Thoughts:

September 11, 2001 is a day that will live in our minds and hearts forever. A very sad day for all Americans as we watched in horror the senseless loss of so many lives. But as Americans we did not falter.... Everyone of us united together in whatever way we could showing our compassion, prayers, love and support for those souls and their families just as many of our forefathers have done before us....

From the beginning of our claim to freedom Americans have stood together with strong belief in the right to freedom of choice, freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of religion, freedom from oppression. Our history proves our beliefs to be truth. We acknowledge this freedom comes with a price. Americans have fought many battles at the homefront and on foreign soil so that we and our children and grandchildren may continue to live with freedom.

As an American I do not condone any terrorist activities and/or attacks on our great nation. I especially do not condone the cowardly attacks on our innocent citizens. I cannot change what has happened but I can stand up and show these cowards I am not afraid. They cannot make me cower to their acts for I will continue to hold my head high and proudly go on living as a true American.

I will not allow even one of those people to die in vain. They are now like the multitude of soldiers we have lost through wars to live forever in our minds and hearts. I cannot fathom what they endured in the aircrafts,  but they knew their fate was imminent. Therefore they then became casualties of an act of war. They became American heroes in my mind.

As for the lives lost at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon I consider each of them to be victims of this act of war.  They like all of us left for work that day like they do all the time - free of any fear of oppressive attacks.  Then to add to this devastating tragedy all the men and women emergency workers, firefighters, police, etc who gave their lives trying to save these people.  Again I say these people are American heroes in my mind.

My father-in-law, husband, and son had all proudly served with the United States Marine Corps. They have one symbol that covers my feelings of our great nation and that is "Semper Fideles" which translated means "Forever Faithful". Let anyone try to change that and they will be defeated.

Love, Peace and Unity to All
