The experience of daily life has conclusively demonstrated to us that excessive excitation by light and sound regrettably dulls the wonderful organs of sight and hearing. The wise law of concomitances allows us to infer logically that a continuous exchange of Soul Rays exhausts both the Soul and the Body.
Man as a microcosm needs to be in step with all those living rhythms of the infinite space that sustain the universe steady on its course.
In the same manner as the stars in the firmament come and go within their orbits without hindering each other and therefore having their proportional luminosities, so should also husband and wife periodically proceed to unite sexually.
Even if it were not possible for a given married couple to have separate bedrooms, there is an infallible remedy for avoiding magnetic repletion, and since it would be very serious to keep it quiet, we shall give the formula: "They cohabite once or twice a week and through careful avoidance of the abominable spasm, try not to interrupt the flow of the electricity of life."
These verses are from Hutten:
"Twice weekly, it is the duty
with a woman so to do,
that which harms neither you nor me,
a hundred and four times a year is awarded."
Zoroaster writes to his followers that the man should cohabit with the woman every nine days; for this purpose, the woman should ask the Lord nine times every morning the question: “Tell me, my owner, what I must do today. Your will is law."
The wise legislator Solon awarded the woman the right to be covered by the man three times in the course of four weeks.
Those men who are already past the age of fifty are advised to obey simply the Creative Magnetic Pause that Nature may have established in their physiology of Eros.
These people need to know how to wait for the appropriate moment, even if they may be wishing to practice Sexual Magic. It would be absurd to do violence to the sexual organs, or to undertake copulation with a deficient erection.
People of advanced age should not worry at all. It is ostensible that Nature establishes also in them its pluses and minuses, its times of activity and repose.
The Magnetic Creative Pause solves also the somewhat deficient development of the genitals and the charkas or sympathetic plexuses they feed.
The sage Waldemar says:
"In the preparatory period, energies are used up from one’s own mass of potency, with the consequence that a frequent repetition of such expenditure does result in a growing discontent and inner emptiness."
"The Magnetic Pause is necessary so that what has been used up can be replaced."
"Frequently, however, one participant goes so far as to interpret such a pause as a lack of love and conjugal desire, and so in a morbid way obliges the partner to demonstrate a willing deference by means of new displays of arousal."
"In a forced manner the Sexual Fire is made repeatedly to flare up. Thus the partner has no other way than to escape into mimicry representing sensations that are no longer aroused or experienced. As a result, diversion of feelings gradually increases, and eventually repulsion and despair are so great that vehement quarrels can no more be avoided.”
"Shame and hatred between the affected couple grow, disturbing their minds and therefore turning their marriage into a curse. Here the blame is on their not knowing about the Magnetic Creative Pause and not having used it."
Magnetic exchange in sexual relations is especially positive when husband and wife unite with the evident purpose of not exceeding the point of sexual climax, that is to say, not reaching orgasm.
Then both husband and wife have at their disposal electric forces, sexual, prodigious, with which they can reduce to ashes all the Psychic Aggregates that together constitute that which is called the Ego, the "I", the Myself, the Me.
