Our Babies' Pictures

Hello-hello! Welcome the new arrival of our first babies! We had 3 healthy babies on February 17, 2000; 5 babies on March 6, 2000; and another 6 babies on March 24, 2000. They are so delightful to have around. So as you can tell, we are parents now and lately we've been rather busy with our new babies.

Ghislaine, our caretaker, has been taking some pictures of our babies to show you the progress of their growth. And my-oh-my do they ever grow up fast! Since the babies were so small, Ghislaine had to be quite close to take pictures of them. But unfortunately, being "too close" made most of the pictures look rather blurry... So Ghislaine asks that you hopefully don't mind her amateur photography.

Our babies are still growing now. Our first and second litter are independent now and pretty soon, our third litter will be on their own too. You'll notice that each one of them is unique and special. In our 1st litter, there were 2 boys and 1 girl; our 2nd litter, 4 boys and 1 girl; and our 3rd litter, 3 boys and 3 girls.

One boy from the first litter and another boy from the second litter are being taken care by Will (Ghislaine's silly boyfriend). Will gave them the names Hambert and Chanbert. Ghislaine is keeping a boy and a girl from the second litter and she has named them Charlie and Charlotte. Charlie now lives with daddy (Bernard) and Charlotte lives with mommy (Bianca). Both boys and girls each have their own cages now. Ghislaine hasn't the rest of them names yet. She's still thinking about it... And also, since she is going to give them away she wants our babies' new caretakers to name the kids themselves.

Day 0: The day our babies were born. This is one of our babies that crawled out of the nest.	Day 1: The babies are one day old.
Day 5: The three of them are already playing with each other at 5 days of age.	Day 6: The babies start to groom their face now. Light fuzz begin to appear. One of the babies has a visible dark dorsal stripe on his fur. Another one has a light brown dorsal stripe.
Day 6: 2 males (top 2), and 1 female (bottom) 1 with dark eyes (top), and the other 2 with red eyes (bottom 2)	Day 7: One week old. This little guy is being held by Ghislaine's boyfriend (the one who got Bernard and Bianca for her).
Day 8: Another picture of the same little guy as before (see Day 7). Doesn't he look so peaceful?	Day 9: Here's a very blurry picture of all 3 of the babies.
Here are the triplets resting in my hand...	The babies have escaped from the nest and mother (Bianca) tries to bring them back.
