Q:You have
really long hair. Why do you keep it long??
Gil:I keep
my hair long because it's really cool to have the hair falling all over
when I'm playing the guitar. I love my hair. I've been keeping it long
for the past four years and I don't plan to cut it, not at least for the
next three or four years.
Q:If you
could have three wishes, what would they be??
Gil:I'd
love to have more guitars ( he has 11 already!!) and I wish I could spend
more time with my family. Oh ya, for my last wish, I would wish I could
have three more wishes!
Q:What kind
of fan letters do you get? And do you ever reply?
Gil:I got
lots of "love letters". I make time to read them all but I really don't
have the time to reply every one though sometimes I do wish I can.
Q:How do
you find Malaysian girls so far??
Gil:They
are definitely friendly, beautiful and nice. And it's really great that
they listen to my music as well.
Q:When was
your first kiss?
Gil:I think
it was in the third grade. I was about nine, and we were both watching
a movie when it happened. Geez.. it was so yucky! Did you see the kissing
scene in My Girl? Well, it was exactly like that. Of course the kisses
got better after that...
Q:Have you
written a song for a girl before?
Gil:I wrote
I Am So In Love for my girl-friend, a 17 year old German girl but we broke
up.
Q:If you
could hold a concert with anybody you like, who would it be?
Gil:Anyone
I like? Hmm.. I'd want Joe Santriani to play the guitar, Terry Bozio on
the drums, and my brother Tal on the Bass. It would be a superb concert!
Q:How do
you feel whenever you perform on stage?
Gil:The
feeling in unbelivable. I just go crazy on stage when I hear the fans scream!
It makes me want to hug everyone!
Q:If you
were not a singer, what do you think you would be doing now?
Gil:Being
a singer has always been a dream for me. If I were not a singer, I would
probably be a dreamer, dreaming to be a singer....
Q:What's
your favourite song?
Gil:Metallica's
Nothing
Else Matters, of course. I was 11 when I fisrt heard it, and I was having
some problems that time. The song taught me that no matter what problems
I face, life still goes on. It has definitely made me stronger.
Q:When do
you plan to get married?
Gil:I'm
already married-to all my 11 guitars! Ha..ha.. But seriously, I don't plan
to settle down any time soon. I'm still so young and there are still many
things that I want to do. |
