Great slide shows. Have you ever seen a piper climb a tower like in your desert slide show, and start playing his pipes up there?

I haven't looked at yor webpage yet because you put the summit register first. It had better be good. I like trip reports and spam humor.

I love to climb as well but since Indiana lacks any places to do so I go to the Red River Gorge in southeastern kentucky. I dont have a scanner yet but have some really nice pics of me climbing in Puerto Rico in Feb. 19998. Look at climbNet.com if you hav nt already it pretty good to look at.

We share the same favorite mountain. I'm hoping to make my 90th ascent this summer. If you're ever in the mood for an easy, clean, fun in the sun romp on the ol' peak try the Keyhole Ridge.

Hey, man! I haven't taken the closest of looks at your site, but it seems quite promising. Good to see that Americans too like the telemark! Unfortunately I haven't had the time to provide english versions of my own pages (the interesting parts are in Norwegian, but you can always look at the pictures!), but they are in the making. Hope you'll bother to stop by my pages! And by the way: Thanks for providing a frame-free site. Cheers Sturla

Hi George, Thanks for the Xmas card. We sent ours to the old house. Hope your forwarding is still in effect. If it comes back we'll try again. Bob and Anne (and Eva, Marlena, and Maria too) Ps. Has Allison gotten on skis yet. Maria got on skates last night for the 1st time. She's 13 months old. She wouldn't be left off the ice and managed to wander out there in her booties. The guard made us rent skates for her. She loved it but need lots of support.

Hi George. You probably get asked this a lot, but -- just curious if you are related to the renowned American 1950s-60s mountaineer of the same name. If he's your dad, please let him know there are folks out and about who still admire his reputation as one of Americ 's premier climbers. If he's no relation, then thanks at least for sharing your climbing page! cheers....joe. PS: Do visit mine if you get the chance -- but the only climbing references are two photos on my "ruthlessly self-indulgent bio page." I might link a separate mountain-sports page one of these days!

George, Wow, you've sure broken more than your share of skis. I think you should post photos of the broken ones too (I have a funny one in mind). I also seem to recall some Tua Toute Neige skis that you used to ski so I'm wondering if how many more pair you've fo gotten.... age is catching up with you! Happy skiing, and thanks for collecting all this info. Don Aumann
