At first glance of the marvelous opening sequence, you'd think you're in for a thrill-a-minute joyride. Well you're right... sort of... you see, what you're actually about to watch is probably the best James Bond parody in the history of James Bond parodies. The movie opens like any spy thriller should...with top-notch action. A nameless spy(Yu Rong Guang) tracks down the stolen head of a huge, priceless dinosaur fossil.  Unfortunately for him, the man with a golden gun'... well.. sort of...kills the poor spy, but not before taking down all of the man with the golden gun's henchmen. And I mean all of them. Naturally the chinese government demands the priceless fossil back. Meanwhile, Commander Chan of the chinese military accidentally finds an old dirty manila folder file of an agent, while cleaning his office. The file is Ling Ling Chai: Agent 007. After reading about his 'flawless record of past duties, & despite the fact that Ling hasn't been active in the last ten years, he re-assigns the agent to the case. Commander Chan, along with his assistant, Li Heung Kam(Anita Yuen) meets up with The Deputy General, for Ling's approval to the case. However  after realizing that the General would never give his authorization of Ling taking on the case, Commander Chan orders Kam to kill The Deputy General. The Commander then orders Kam to meet up with Ling to in order for Kam to get close to Ling for her to kill him. The Commander sends Man Si (their version of Q) Ling's close assistant to fetch Ling Ling Chai who is now working as a pork vendor. Ling is reunited with Man Si, & they head down to headquarters to be prompted for the case. Afterwards, Ling recieves a note from Kam, & heads down to meet up with her, she then takes Ling to her place. Brief introductions between the two, Kam asks Ling to show her his gadgets, & weapons that he will be using for the case. (Hilarious scene here!) She then shows her firepower, as Ling carefully inspect each weapon. She quietly takes a PPK handgun, & discreetly arms it with bullets, & a silencer. As Ling walks around the room not knowing that a gun is pointed right at him, he casually walks towards Kam. Unscrewing the silencer in one swift motion, so that he may try to see if the silencer will fit on his gun. Which it did, suddenly the window opens violently as the wind pushes it in. Ling offers to close the window while setting his gun down on the coffee table. With his back turned to Kam, she then picks up the gun & aims it right at Ling's head. She pulls the trigger, only to be shot on the right arm. Ling hears the shot, & checks to see if Kam was okay after being shot by his gun. Kam claims that she is testing the gun, Ling explains to her that his gun shoots towards the back. Ling then turns around again to try to close the window. Kam, this time flipping the gun over using her left hand aims & shoots at Ling. Again only to be shot on her left arm as well. Ling then explains that his gun shoots towards the back first, then towards the front, while offering a small bangage for her wounds. Kam then runs to the bathroom, & answers the Commander's call via a toilet bowl.(not kidding!)Commander Chan then orders Kam to kill Ling  A.S.A.P.! Kam then invites Ling to have lunch at a busy mall. There Ling meets an old friend & starts a conversation with him. Ling's friends two companions went ahead to pick up something at another store. Kam on other hand knowing that Ling's old friend & his two companions are up to no good, suspecting that they're bad guys. She humbly left Ling at the mercy of Ling's friend with her hoping that they would finish job for her. Turns out that Ling' old friend & two companions are jewel thieves & went ahead & robbed the local jewelry store. It wasn't before long that a gun war is taking place. Ling is taken hostage while the bandits are on the get away.   As they heard towards the party, Ling promises to get Kam a rare white rose before the missions over, Kam although appreciative, unwantedly shrugs it off.  In the party,  Ling sings a ballad that he overheard Kam was humming early on.
