| *Note: I am not a regular viewer of all the nominated soaps/actors, but I do watch most occasionally. This is just my personal prediction of who I think will probaly win. | Outstanding Drama Series: As The World Turns The Bold and The Beautiful Port Charles The Young and The Restless Predicted Winner: Port Charles Why: Surrender was one of the best PC shows ever. It had a solid story and great acting, and PC is long over due for an Emmy! Why not: The Bold and The Beautiful has solid acting, strong stories, and is long overdue too. Outstanding Lead Actor: Grant Alexander-GL Maurice Benard-GH Doug Davidson-Y&R Anthony Geary-GH Ricky Paull Goldin-GL Thorsten Kaye-PC Predicted Winner- Maurice Benard Why: The scenes when Sonny is in the jail cell is great, and Maurice is always great in every scene he's in; he really gives his all. Why not: This is a tough category; Anthony Geary is a favorite here, Doug Davidson is long over due, and Torsten Kaye was great in the scenses where his wife died. Any of these actors could take it. Outstanding Lead Actress Eileen Davidson-Y&R Susan Flannery-B&B Nancy Lee Grahn-GH Michelle Stafford-Y&R Kim Zimmer-GL Predicted Winner- Nancy Lee Grahn Why: She was GREAT this year! She had great story, great scenes, and a great range of emotions to put on her Emmy reel. Why not: I hear Michelle Stafford had a great year too, but honestly, I think Nancy Lee Grahn has this one in the bag. Outstanding Supporting Actor Josh Duhammel- AMC Benjamin Hendrickson- ATWT Ron Raines- GL Paul Anthony Stewart- GL Cristian Leblanc- Y&R Predicted Winner- This is the category I'm least familiar with, but I think Benjamin Henrickson will get it, or Crisitan Leblanc, because they have been nominated so many times in this category. |
| Outstanding Supporting Actress: Rebecca Budig- AMC Robin Christopher- GH Linda Dano- OLTL Vanessa Marcil- GH Cady Mcclain- ATWT Kelly Monaco- PC Predicted Winner- Toughest Category to predict, but I'm going with Rebecca Budig. Why- She was really great in the scenes where Leo died. And she seems to be a favorite in the industry. Why not- Robin Christopher, Kelly Monaco, Vanessa Marcil were espically good this year. Another category whre anyone could take it. Outstanding Younger Leading Acor: Chad Brannon- GH David Lago- Y&R Kyle Lowder- DAYS Aiden Turner -AMC Jordi VIlasuso -GL Predicted Winner- David Lago Why- Another often nominated actor; the Susan Lucci of the Younger Actor category. Voters may feel it's time for him to have his due. Why not- Kye Lowder may get it, to avoid problems with NBC because their shows/actors NEVER get anything. OutstandingYounger Leading Actress: Jennifer Finnigan- B&B Adrienne Frantz- B&B Erin Hershey Presley- PC Lindsey Mckeon- GL Alicia Liegh Willis- GH Predicted Winner- Erin Hershey Presley Why- She is always great, every year, she was espically good this year. Why not- The Bold and The Beautiful girls have won this category two years in a row; they may make it three. |
