041. Wimp
Biff Tannen hated Mondays.
It didn't really matter that he didn't have to do his own homework, school was a complete pain in the ass.
It was worse than usual though, with all these buttheads talking about the dance on Saturday night.
He pushed past a group of girls who were going on about their dresses and dates and shit, earning a few looks and "Hey!"s but what did he care?
Arriving at his locker, his annoyance level only increased that butthead George McFly wasn't there with his homework. Damn that son of a bitch, he curled his right hand into a fist and pummelled it into his left palm. I'm gonna have to teach 'im a lesson.
Fortunately, that Irish Bug pretty much did the same thing every day, so Biff had a good idea where he was.
A look of murder on his face he headed towards the side entrance of the school, which McFly usually slunked through in a pathetic attempt to avoid everyone.
On the way though, Biff stopped short.
"What the Hell?" He hissed, shaking his head in disbelief. It couldn't be...
But it was, he'd know her anywhere, even from behind.
Lorraine Baines...his girl, standing with McFly! And it wasn't as if they just happened to be standing in the same place, Lorraine had her hand on McFly's arm, talking to him.
Striding over with a sneer, Biff drawled. "Well, lookie what we have here. Doin' a good deed by talkin' to this butthead, Lorraine?"
Biff saw with satisfaction that McFly, as always, winced at the sight of him and shrunk back, almost hiding behind Lorraine.
Lorraine on the other hand, tossed back her hair and glared up at him. "What do you want, Biff?"
"Hey, can't a guy talk to a girl without wantin' something?" He leered at her.
"You can't," she snapped back, stepping closer to McFly. "Why don't you beat it?"
Biff ground his teeth. He'd never figure out girls, why the Hell would Lorraine bother hanging around that wimp?
"I got somethin' to ask from the Bug there," he gestured towards McFly, who if possible looked even more frightened than before. "Where's my homework, McFly?"
"Uh..." McFly squeaked, then trailed off.
"Homework?" Lorraine shook her head. "You don't even do your own homework, Biff? That's pathetic!"
Biff clenched his fists, she was pushing it...
"Keep outta this, would you?" He snapped. "So where is it, McFly?"
Refusing to butt out of the conversation, Lorraine stepped forward. "George didn't have time to do it, he was too busy going to the dance with me."
It took a moment for Biff to realise what she had just said. "You went to the dance with him? You lose a bet or something?" He gave a laugh.
"So funny, Biff, you should be on stage."
"You don't mind having to stand up for this bug?" Biff demanded, pointing at McFly. "How 'bout you go out with me, I'll show you what you're missing."
"What? Hives?"
That did it, Biff took a step forward towering over Lorraine, if she didn't know what was good for her...
"I'll get your homework to you by lunch, Biff!" McFly spluttered.
Biff looked at him over Lorraine's shoulder, distracted further by the sound of the bell. "Well, lucky for you I don't have any due 'til lunch, so I'll cut you a break."
"How generous of you," Lorraine glared at him, taking McFly's hand.
Biff curled his lip at the two of them, then turned and left as the tardy bell rang.
He had always thought Lorraine Baines was the girl he wanted, but if she was gonna hang around with that complete wimp... maybe he just wouldn't bother with her anymore...
Or maybe I will just a little bit, he amended.
