Redwall Books 1. Lord Brocktree Although I do not have a favourite Redwall book, this is one of my favourites. The seaside mountain is under siege by Ungatt Trunn and his forces of vermin who want to take it over and get gold and plunder. Lord Stonepaw, the aging badger lord needs help to save the mountain. But from who? Lord Brocktree and Dorothea are the only ones who can. 2. Martin The Warrior Young mouse Martin The Warrior is taken prisoner by Badrang the stoat. Badrang is intent on building a castle and retiring to live in peace while slaves make him a fortune. But Martin refuses to bow down to the tyrant and with this gesture begins a rebel uprising that would change the northern coast forever. 3. Mossflower Martin finds his way to Mossflower Woods and is imprisoned by Verdauga Greeneyes (Ungatt Trunn's younger brother) in the palace Kotir. He escapes and helps the humble woodlanders overthrow the cruel wildcat dictator Tsarmina. There is much more ot the book than this, it has an excellent plot, but I'm not going to tell you anymore, you have to read it for yourself! 4. The Legend Of Luke As Redwall Abbey is being built Martin the Warrior takes a journey to reach into his past and discover more about his mysterious father Luke whom he resembles so much. The story follows the characters on their search and then follows Luke and his adventures at sea trying to defeat the pirates and find a safe haven for his friends and family. 5. Oucast Of Redwall Swartt Sixclaw the ferret and Sunflash Mace the badger are sworn enemies since Swartt inprisoned Sunflash and Skarlath, his osprey friend. Sunflash later becomes Lord Of Salamandastron and Swartt becomes the leader of vermin armies. Meanwhile, at Redwall Abbey a ferret babe is found and raised but it always seems to be getting into trouble. Brian Jacques expertly intertwines these stories together to form... The Outcast Of Redwall. 6. Mariel Of Redwall Gabool The Wild of Terramort Isle has captured the ship of Joseph the bellmaker and has his new bell and his daughter Mariel hostage. Mariel escapes and is washd through the high seas and lands on the shore near Redwall Abbey. Confused and dazed, she names herself Storm Gullwhacker and continues on to the abbey. It soon becomes apparent that there is more to Storm Gullwhacker then even she herself knows, but what? 7. The Bellmaker Urgan Nagru the foxwolf and his horde have taken over Southsward and rule it with an iron fist. Mariel and Dandin have come to Southsward in their wanderings and are taken his captive in Castle Floret. Meanwhile, in beast's dreams Martin the Warrior summons 5 brave souls from Redwall to go to Southsward to help. Will they be in time to save Mariel and Dandin? It all comes down to Joseph The Bellmaker. 8. Salamandastron Ferahgo the Assassin is massing his hordes to attack Salamandastron. The hares and badger lord must prepare for the huge invasion. Meanwhile, Samkim and Arula run away to retrive the sword of Martin The warrior which was stolen by two vermin who had temporarily become part of the Redwall community then fled because they accidentally killed a mouse. It is an excellant book but very complicated and you'll have to read it how all the stories unflod together. 9. Redwall Cluny the courge is in the land! His vicious army of rats is attacking Redwall Abbey to use as their castle full of loot and plunder! Redwall must be saved, but it will take bravery from all the inexperienced Abbey dwellers, ingenious battle tactics and a roller coaster ride of events that make this one very good book! 10. Mattimeo Slagar the Horrible (a.k.a. Chickenhound) wants to steal all the Redwall Abbey young to sell as slaves for high prices! He uses the Redwall Abbey dweller's generosity and benefit of the doubt to enter the abbey and then steals away into the night. As Matthias and the warriors set out to recapture the babes a new terror presents itself to the abbey - an attck by the crow army under the direction of General Ironbeak! 11. The Pearls Of Lutra Fermald the ancient squirrel befriends a crazed water rat who carries an enormous secret. Far away on the distant isle of Sampetra, Emperor Ublaz the pine marten is dieing to find out that secret. So he sends his lizard army on a mission to Redwall - Find the Pearls Of Lutra, at all costs. The Redwallers must race against time to decipher Fermald's cmoplex clues and find them, before it's too late! 12. The Long Patrol Tammo the hare is bored of life at Camp Tussock. He wants excitement in his life so he runs away with Russa Nodrey the squirrel to join the Long Patrol, the legendary army of fighting hares that keep vermin at bay across the land. He encounters many adventures on his way and an even bigger one ensues when the land is threatened by Damug warfang and his savage band of Rapscallions. 13. Marlfox The Noonvale Troupe come to Redwall Abbey and perform their comic entertainment, but amid the jolly festivities all is not well. Marlfoxes roam the land around Redwall and Marlfoxes are no ordinary foxes. They may seem magical by their ability to vanish into thin air. Soon a battle is raging as Redwallers defend themselves against the Marlfoxes, who are after treasure, and young Songbreeze and Dannflor set out on a journey of their own to find the hidden lake and island visited by Samkim and Arula... 14. The Taggerung The villainous Sawney Rath clan of rats, weasels, foxes, and ferrets believe Deyna, an otter born of the community at Redwall, is their Taggerung, a great warrior destined to lead them. Members of the Sawney Rath clan kidnap Deyna from his home as a young otter, but to no avail. As Deyna grows, he embarks upon a search for his true family at Redwall. Meanwhile, many exciting things are happening elsewhere, including an exhaustive search to discover who the new abbess will be. 15. Triss The latest installment was just released this month and I have yet to read it. Top
