Once Upon A Marigold. 4Q, 4P
- The best of this book were the occasional subtle comic gems the author skipped in - when Edric, a hermit, mixes up sayings, proverbs and idioms and utters something hilarious. I enjoyed this book, which makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside at the end. I guess everybody needs to read a feel-good book without dying and angst every so often, although I don't think this one is overly special or has excellent literary qualities. It was in the Children's section of my library, not YA, which I would agree with. This will attract girls more than guys, although there's no reason everybody wouldn't appreciate it. This would make a good movie.
