Tuesday 1st August 2000
Lucas is furious with nicole when she finally returns home. He demands to know where she's been these past couple hours. Nicole lies and says she got a flat tire, but Lucas doesn't believe her. He goes out to the garage to check her spare, and much to his surprise, it's on the car. Lucas apologizes to Nicole, but she won't hear it. Eventually, she softens and, with her own agenda, tells Lucas he can make it up to her by taking her up to Green Mountain Lodge for a romantic getaway. Greta gets quite a surprise when Eric stops by. Trying to get rid of any thoughts of Nicole, he takes Greta in his arms and tells her she's the perfect woman for him. He plants a hot and heavy kiss on her lips and leads her to the couch, where they teeter on the edge of making love. Greta, afraid this is going too fast, pulls back. Eric is a complete gentleman and apologizes for pressuring her. Later, we get the feeling Greta is totally in love with Eric, but he's still fighting his feelings for Nicole. Stefano sends Rolf out on a mission to find out when exactly Hope's baby is due. It's imperative the baby be born at the same time as Marlo's. After Rolf leaves, Stefano passes the time with Marlo by playing a game of chess. Much to his surprise, she makes it a close battle. Stefano gets called away momentarily, and Marlo takes this opportunity to pour herself a stiff drink. Little does she know, Stefano is watching. Doug and Julie traipse through the woods back toward their car, dragging what appears to be a body bag. Both are horrified that they'll get caught and nailed for the mysterious crime they just committed. Much to their dismay, a park ranger wheels up and starts to question them. Hope takes Lexie's defense and tries to convince Abe that Stefano does have a heart after all. With great detail, she tells them about all of the times he sacrificed for her and the baby. Abe says he still isn't sold on this Saint Stefano idea, and doesn't want to adopt a baby with a connection to that monster. Rolf, who is secretly listening in at the window, is angry as he overhears this. Later, the group hears unusual sounds coming from outside. They head out to investigate.

Wednesday 2nd August 2000
Sami stops by Brandon's place, surprised to see Larry there. she takes this opportunity to go on and on about how wonderful Abe carver really is. Brandon privately doesn't like this one bit. Later, Sami fills Brandon in on what she and her dad found out at the strip club. And she was hoping Brandon could help her out. A frenzied Rolf returns to the DiMera mansion and tells Stefano about the strange goings-on he witnessed at Bo and Hope's new house. Later, he tells Stefano that he overheard Abe say he's still against the adoption idea. Stefano darkens. if he has to play hardball with Commander Carver, that's exactly what he'll do! Roman returns to the strip club in hopes of finding out some more information. Upon arrival, he is hit on by Marlo, who is there drowning her sorrows. Roman politely brushes her off. Later, a plastered and pregnant Marlo takes center stage and begins to strip. A huge shock as Bo, Abe, Hope, and Lexie realize that Doug and Julie are the intruders and the "body bag" is really a tree. Doug and Julie explain that they wanted to plant a tree of life in honor of Bo and Hope's baby. Everyone is touched. Later, in a private moment, Bo tells Abe he can understand why he might be reluctant to adopt a baby right now, but if he doesn't, he might be passing up the chance of a lifetime. Abe comes to a decision.

Thursday 3rd July 2000
Nicole calls Eric and apologizes for burdening him with her problems from the past. Eric says he's glad she opened up to him. In fact, he's the one who's sorry. His dad was pretty harsh with her last night at the strip club. Eric doesn't care what his dad thinks of Nicole, he wants her in his life. Moments later, Greta drops by unannounced. After hearing eric's side of the conversation, she asks if he was on the phone with Nicole. Eric admits he was, but before Greta jumps to any conclusions, he tells her it was a business call. Nicole just gave him a few days off. and Eric would like to take Greta away on a mini vacation... to Green Mountain Lodge. Lucas and Kate start the day at odds regarding Nicole. Lucas blames himself for their failing marriage, but is determined to make things right when he takes her up to the lodge. Later, Kate gets a call from Maggie, who is concerned that Lucas might slip off the wagon. Kate insists everything is fine, but just to be safe, she calls the lodge and has them remove all alcohol from Lucas and Nicole's suite... Sami asks Bandon what his big plan is. Se'll do anything she can to get her son back. Brandon throws out his idea. He wants Sami to pose as a hooker, and he'll be her pimp. Going to that strip club incognito is the only way to get the needed info. Later, Brandon panics when Sami and Lexie tell him that Abe is going have a talk with Larry. Lexie convinces Abe to go to the DiMera mansion to meet with Marlo. While he's doing this, Lexie heads to the hospital and asks Larry if he'll see Abe. Larry is reluctant, but eventually gives in. He'll talk to Abe... but only if it's on his turf. Meanwhile, Abe arrives at Stefano's and finds a drunken Marlo on the front steps. She throws up right in front of Abe. Stefano moves up and insists it's morning sickness, but Abe doesn't buy it. later, Stefano tells abe that if he really loved Lexie, he'd make this sacrifice for her and adopt the baby.

Friday 4th August 2000
Brandon spends much of the day trying to convince Lexie and Sami that it isn't a good idea for Abe to meet with Larry at this time. Lexie disagrees at first, but later realizes that perhaps Brandon is right. Meanwhile, Abe sees Larry alone at the nurses' station and asks if he wants to talk. Unfortunately, it doesn't go quite as well as Abe had hoped... Hope drops by the penthouse and asks Marlena to be her matron of honor. Marlena is thrilled and graciously accepts. Hope tells Marlena and a very relieved John that she's decided to quit searching for her missing year right now. She's instead going to embrace the future she has with Shawn, Bo, and their new baby... Without thinking, Bo tells Roman that Hope's baby could destroy their lives. Roman is suspicious, but Bo covers and says he's worried about what might happen if she remembers her past. Later, Roman tells Bo not to get so worked up over Hope's pregnancy. He's sure everything will be fine. But we get the feeling Bo has his doubts... Stefano and Rolf blast Marlo for going out and getting drunk last night. Stefano knows of only one way to keep her under control... He's decided to lock her up in the secret room for the rest of her pregnancy. Rolf and Bart carry Marlo downstairs, kicking and screaming. Just then, John walks up to the front door and overhears the screaming inside. He pounds on the door, desperate to get in. When Stefano finally answers, he covers the truth. Later, there's a huge moment as John asks Stefano for his help...

Monday 7th August 2000
Doug and Julie wait for Hope and Bo to arrive home. But instead of just sitting around, Doug and Julie decide to take care of some home improvements. Unfortunately, everything that could possibly go wrong does, and the place is a complete disaster when Hope finally returns... At Salem place, Jason and Jan make fun of Mimi, whose clothes obviously haven't been laundered for quite some time. Belle witnesses this and stands up for her friend. Meanwhile, Chloe and Shawn share a nice moment discussing opera, but get interrupted by obnoxious Philip. Later, as Shawn and Philip play catch with the football, Chloe finds herself in the middle of the action. Philip is running straight for her in hopes of making a catch. Chloe instinctively throws a block and knocks Philip to the ground. He slams his head against the ground, and we wonder if he's okay... Eric and Greta stop at a seedy roadside diner on their way up to the lodge. They run into trouble when two biker dudes start to harass Greta. Eric stands up for his girl, but an all-out brawl ensues. One of the biker guys pulls out a switchblade, but Greta comes to the rescue... Lucas and Nicole aren't very pleased when they arrive at Green Mountain Lodge only to find that their suite isn't ready. The manager apologizes profusely and later gives them a complimentary bottle of champagne. Nicole tells Lucas she thinks their marriage would be better if she felt comfortable drinking in front of him. As it is right now, whenever she unwinds with a martini or such, he tries to avoid her. Lucas denies this, but Nicole presses. In fact, she thinks Lucas will prove a lot if he just has one glass of bubbly right now. Will he cave in to temptation?

Tuesday 8th August 2000
After the initial shock of Chloe pushing Philip to the ground, we reAlizes that she did it to save him from getting hit by an out-of-control car. Philip is stunned and wonders why she'd go out of her way to save him. Jan asides to Jason and says she thinks Chloe is secretly in love with Philip. Later, there's a huge moment as Philip thanks Chloe, right there in front of everyone... John makes a deal with the devil... literally. He approaches Stefano and asks him to do whatever he can to make sure Hope doesn't remember anything about her missing year. Stefano agrees, but only on the condition that John will help convince Abe to go through with the adoption of Marlo's baby... There are several close calls as Larry almost reveals the connection between him and Brandon. Sami's suspicions pique, and she confronts Brandon, but he sidesteps. Later, the two discuss his plan to find out if Roberto was at the strip club at the time when Franco was murdered. Sami is having second thoughts about posing as a stripper. Will Brandon change her mind? Lexie and Abe spend much of the day in an intense battle regarding the baby. Abe says that when he went to meet Marlo, she was drunk. And there's no way he's ever going to adopt her baby! Lexie is an emotional wreck. She always thought of her husband as brave and courageous, but after everything that's happened regarding both the baby and Larry Morris, Lexie isn't so sure. She still loves Abe, but says that the predicament they're in isn't going to be easy to fix. Abe is affected and makes a life altering decision...

Wednesday 9th August 2000
Lexie is thrilled that Abe has agreed to adopt Marlo's baby. Abe, still concerned, wants to meet with Marlo again. He also wants to have Mickey check things out from a legal standpoint. Later, Craig really rips into Lexie. He's angry with the rumors circulating through the hospital... that Abe shot Larry Morris 15 years ago. Craig thinks Lexie's personal life is disrupting her performance at the hospital. Not only that, Lexie and Brandon have been working mighty closely as of late. And after the Mike/Ali ordeal, Craig doesn't want the hospital to be embarrassed by another scandal. Abe eyes Lexie and wonders just how close she and Brandon are... Nancy is driven to tears of joy when Chloe calls her "mom" for the first time. Nancy and Craig gather their friends and the hospital staff together as they announce that Chloe is their daughter. Chloe is mortified, but Nancy and Craig are beaming. They Hope everyone will grow to love Chloe like they do... Marlo pleads with Bart to let her out of the secret room. She complains that she's never going to make it if she doesn't get some fresh air and room to move. Later, Marlo fakes labor pains in hopes of escape. Meanwhile, Rolf tells Stefano that Marlo is experiencing alcohol withdrawal. Unfortunately there may be complications when the baby is born. A huge moment as Stefano tells Rolf he's going to switch Hope and Marlo's babies at birth... Marlena is upset when John tells her about his deal with Dimera. John says he went to Stefano and asked if he could make sure Hope doesn't have any memories from her missing year. Marlena wishes John would've come to her first. She's concerned that something shady is going to go down since Stefano is involved...

Thursday 10th August 2000
After they make love, Lucas and Nicole head to the dining room for dinner. Nicole checks out the wine list and says that a cabernet would be lovely with their meal, but she doesn't want to drink in front of Lucas. A huge moment as Lucas grabs the waiter and orders a bottle of cabernet... And two glasses... As they wait for their table in the dining room, Greta tells Eric That before her mother died, she told Greta who her father is. Eric is stunned. Greta says that for now she needs to keep her mother's words to herself. And she doesn't want anyone to know that princess Gina even spoke to her about this. Eric promises his lips are sealed. Later, Greta discloses even more personal information as she tells Eric she's had sexual fantasies about him... Abe and Lexie drop by Stefano's so Abe can meet Marlo again, but she isn't in the best of shape. Rolf injects an exhausted Marlo with a stimulant in hopes of making her more alert. The drug kicks in just as Abe and Lexie are about to leave. Stefano panics, and Abe and Lexie wonder what's wrong when Marlo goes out of control, then collapses to the floor... Hope, Julie, and Doug frantically clean up the house just in the nick of time. Bo returns with sparkling cider and a bouquet of white roses for Hope. What starts out as a romantic dinner for two ends up as a family feast with Doug, Julie, Alice, and Shawn joining in. Later, Bo and Hope ask Alice and Julie to be bridesmaids, Shawn to be a groomsman, and they'd like Doug to walk Hope down the aisle. Each person graciously accepts...

Friday 11th August 2000
Kate and Nicholas get very close to making love, but she pulls away insisting that it's wrong. She loves victor. Nicholas wonders what would happen if victor gave them permission to make love? Belle and Chloe ponder their date-less status for the Last Blast dance. Belle wants to set Chloe up. Chloe spots a disheveled Mimi outside. Meanwhile Jason and Philip are also discussing the dance. Jason thinks belle has a crush on Shawn, but Philip disagrees. He wants belle as his date. Philip musters up the courage to ask Belle to the dance, but she is distracted before he gets a chance. Chloe spots Mimi talking to some shady characters... Marlo goes into labor, but Stefano doesn't want her going to the hospital. This makes Abe and Lexie suspicious. Rolf injects her with a shot to stop labor. Lexie finds out Hope is in labor and rushes to the hospital. Stefano orders Rolf to give her another injection to induce labor... Hope is going into labor! Mass hysteria ensues as they rush to the hospital. Bo has Shawn call father Jansen to perform the wedding. But will he get there in time?

Monday 14th August 2000
Chloe's curiosity is piqued as she secretly follows Mimi. Things aren't going too well for Mimi, though. Not only does she get approached by a man who thinks she's a hooker, but she gets the contents of her purse stolen. Chloe finally steps in, but Mimi is furious that she's been spied on. A vicious fight ensues with the girls battling it out right there on the ground... Nicole meets with Rex at Tuscany. Little does she know, he's recording their conversation. Rex thinks he knows Nicole from somewhere, but he just can't put a finger on it. Nicole, inwardly nervous, changes the subject. She wants to talk business. Nicole agrees to invest another two million, but she insists that one million come out of her pocket, and the other million is to come out of her profits. Rex tries to change her mind, but Nicole says that's the way she wants it or else she's going to cash out... Greta and Lucas bump into each other at dot.com where they have a very pleasant conversation. Lucas says he's on his way to Eric and Sami's apartment to get will, but Greta manages to convince him to let will stay the night. Lucas says he'd still like to kiss his son goodnight, so Greta and Lucas head over to the apartment. Upon arrival, Sami goes ballistic when she sees Lucas there. Before Lucas even has a chance to speak, Sami blasts him for having the nerve to drag poor will out of bed in the middle of the night. Greta jumps in and says that Lucas is only there to kiss will goodnight... Much to her dismay, Stefano and Rolf inject Marlo with a drug that induces labor. Rolf heads to the hospital to make sure everything is ready for the baby switch. But there's a tense moment for Rolf (dressed in the nurse's garb) when a suspicious Lexie wonders what "she" is doing there. Meanwhile, Bo, Shawn, and Hope, who is in labor, pray that the priest arrive in time to marry them before the baby arrives...

Tuesday 15th August 2000
Mimi's situation is getting worse and worse. She looks like a mess, and even has to resort to eating food from the trash. Chloe tells belle and Shawn that she's afraid Mimi is in trouble and thinks that Shawn and belle should check up on her. Later, the school bell rings, and belle corners a horrified Mimi. She wants to know what's up... Larry convinces evil nurse Brenda to let Sami take her break early. Sami is gracious and gives Larry an innocent kiss on the cheek. The kiss, of course, is meaningless to Sami, but we get the feeling Larry really has it bad for the girl. Abe arrives at the hospital and spots Larry. Abe tries to be civil with the guy, but Larry erupts. Later, Sami and Brandon discuss their plans for the visit to the strip club... Rolf, disguised as "Dr. Reynolds," arrives just in the nick of time. The admissions clerk was about to send Marlo to the free clinic, but Rolf steps in and shows the proper paperwork. He convinces them that he is Marlo's doctor and he wants to deliver the baby at university hospital. Marlo is wheeled into her delivery room. It's only a matter of time until the baby is born. Meanwhile, Lexie eagerly awaits the birth of her son... Hope, Bo and Shawn do everything they can to clear Hope's room out so she can get married in secret. Finally, when the friar arrives and everyone is gone, a frantic nurse rushes in. One of the patients doesn't have much time and needs his last rites. The friar has no choice but to step away for a moment. As all of this is going on, Hope's contractions are getting closer and closer. She's ready to give birth any time now. Later, Bo sees Stefano lurking in the hallway and confronts him...

Chloe listens from afar as belle tries to talk to Mimi. Belle is concerned about her friend and wonders if her behavior change has anything to do with the fact that Mimi's dad lost his job. Mimi goes ballistic. Jason and Jan move up and start with the name calling. Belle tries to stand up for Mimi, but to no avail. Later, Mimi lashes out at belle and says she isn't a real friend. With that, Mimi dashes off... Stefano, at home, is in high spirits as he waits for word on the babies. He picks out an extravagant necklace for Lexie that features the June gemstone. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Rolf (dressed as "Dr. Reynolds") secretly switches the "Brady" I.D. bracelet with a replica "Brady" bracelet. He does the same with the "carver" bracelet. This is all part of the master plan to switch the babies. Later, Rolf returns to Marlo's room and injects her I.V. with a massive dose of medication to induce labor. Marlo screams out in horror, and Lexie and Abe rush in just in time to see Marlo flatline... It's chaos at the hospital as Bo, Hope, and Shawn do last minute preparations for the "shotgun" wedding. Doug, Julie, and Alice are in the labor/delivery room which throws a wrench into the plan. Bo and Hope must get married in private before the little one arrives. Eventually, Doug, Julie, and Alice leave. Shawn ushers in the friar, who is wearing scrubs, and the ceremony begins. Bo and Hope begin to exchange their vows, but before they're through, the baby starts to arrive...

Thursday 17th August 2000
Sami tries to convince Larry that Abe really is a good guy and deserves a chance. She wishes Larry would hear Abe out. Larry is affected by Sami's plea, and Brandon notices. In a private moment, Brandon urges Larry not to fall for the nonsense Sami is spewing. Later, Sami and Brandon argue until Brandon finally says that if Sami can't trust him, maybe they shouldn't be working undercover together... Bart tells Stefano that everything seems to be going as planned at the hospital. Stefano says that the baby switch is best for everyone involved. This way, his darling Alexandra will finally have a baby, plus no one will ever know that john could be the father of Hope's child. Aahh, yes. Life is good... Abe and Lexie panic as Marlo flat-lines, but Rolf (disguised as "Dr. Reynolds") manages to revive her with the proper medication. It doesn't take long for Lexie's new baby to be born. Abe and Lexie are filled with tears of joy when they hold their baby boy for the first time... Bo and Hope exchange their wedding vows just before the baby is born. Hope is thrilled when she holds her son for the first time. Bo is happy, too, despite the fact that it isn't his baby. Later, in the nursery, the nurses weigh, measure, and tag both Marlo's and Hope's baby's. Rolf rushes in and peers through the glass. Did his plan go off without a hitch?

Friday 18th August 2000
Chloe finally tells Belle she's afraid Mimi is on drugs. Belle has trouble believing this, but Chloe argues her point. Later, Shawn announces that he has a new baby brother. Belle is thrilled for Shawn. He senses something is up, and Belle admits she's concerned about Mimi. After her talk with Shawn, Belle is convinced her friend isn't on drugs. Meanwhile, Chloe has an interesting run-in with Marlo... Mimi meets up with a few thugs whom she wants to sell her flatware to, but they're not interested. They do, however, have a brilliant suggestion for poor Mimi... they think she could make a killing by selling her Body. Mimi is desperate, but is she that desperate? John pays Stefano a visit. He doesn't want Dimera to do anything to hurt Hope, but he does want a promise that she won't ever remember making love to him. Stefano says he has scientists working on it. Later, Rolf (disguised as Dr. Reynolds) and Marlo return to the Dimera mansion. John catches a glimpse of them and is suspicious... Rolf is peering through the window at the nursery and what he sees is amazing... the Carver baby and the Brady baby are in their proper bassinets, but then we see the Brady baby's id bracelet miraculously change to "Carver" and vice versa. The nurses notice that the babies are in the wrong bassinets, and they switch them. Rolf is delighted as he watches this from afar. Hope notes that her baby looks different than right after he was Born, but the nurse says that's normal. Hope, Bo, and the family spend much of the day getting to know the newest addition to the Brady family. Meanwhile, Lexie and Abe bond with their little one. Craig gives Lexie a hard time when she says she's requested maternity leave, but Alice defends Lexie, and Craig is left with egg on his face...

Sami tries to convince Larry that Abe really is a good guy and deserves a chance. She wishes Larry would hear Abe out. Larry is affected by Sami's plea, and Brandon notices. In a private moment, Brandon urges Larry not to fall for the nonsense Sami is spewing. Later, Sami and Brandon argue until Brandon finally says that if Sami can't trust him, maybe they shouldn't be working undercover together... Bart tells Stefano that everything seems to be going as planned at the hospital. Stefano says that the baby switch is best for everyone involved. This way, his darling Alexandra will finally have a baby, plus no one will ever know that john could be the father of Hope's child. Aahh, yes. Life is good... Abe and Lexie panic as Marlo flat-lines, but Rolf (disguised as "Dr. Reynolds") manages to revive her with the proper medication. It doesn't take long for Lexie's new baby to be born. Abe and Lexie are filled with tears of joy when they hold their baby boy for the first time... Bo and Hope exchange their wedding vows just before the baby is born. Hope is thrilled when she holds her son for the first time. Bo is happy, too, despite the fact that it isn't his baby. Later, in the nursery, the nurses weigh, measure, and tag both Marlo's and Hope's baby's. Rolf rushes in and peers through the glass. Did his plan go off without a hitch?

Chloe finally tells Belle she's afraid Mimi is on drugs. Belle has trouble believing this, but Chloe argues her point. Later, Shawn announces that he has a new baby brother. Belle is thrilled for Shawn. He senses something is up, and Belle admits she's concerned about Mimi. After her talk with Shawn, Belle is convinced her friend isn't on drugs. Meanwhile, Chloe has an interesting run-in with Marlo... Mimi meets up with a few thugs whom she wants to sell her flatware to, but they're not interested. They do, however, have a brilliant suggestion for poor Mimi... they think she could make a killing by selling her Body. Mimi is desperate, but is she that desperate? John pays Stefano a visit. He doesn't want Dimera to do anything to hurt Hope, but he does want a promise that she won't ever remember making love to him. Stefano says he has scientists working on it. Later, Rolf (disguised as Dr. Reynolds) and Marlo return to the Dimera mansion. John catches a glimpse of them and is suspicious... Rolf is peering through the window at the nursery and what he sees is amazing... the Carver baby and the Brady baby are in their proper bassinets, but then we see the Brady baby's id bracelet miraculously change to "Carver" and vice versa. The nurses notice that the babies are in the wrong bassinets, and they switch them. Rolf is delighted as he watches this from afar. Hope notes that her baby looks different than right after he was Born, but the nurse says that's normal. Hope, Bo, and the family spend much of the day getting to know the newest addition to the Brady family. Meanwhile, Lexie and Abe bond with their little one. Craig gives Lexie a hard time when she says she's requested maternity leave, but Alice defends Lexie, and Craig is left with egg on his face...

Monday 28th August 2000
Belle and Philip are taken aback when they spot Shawn and Chloe studying together at the pub. Philip and Belle watch through the window as the two seem to be enjoying each other's company. Chloe admits her dream is to sing in New York at the Met someday. Shawn thinks Chloe has a lot of talent and is sure she'll do whatever she wants. Later, Caroline tells Chloe she has to sing for her supper. with Shawn on piano, Chloe comes alive as she belts out opera. Philip and Belle are jealous as they continue watching through the window... Larry and Brandon meet with Benny at the loft to discuss the plot against Abe. Brandon says that Abe has harassed Larry three times at the hospital, and there have even been witnesses. Brandon says that Abe Carver isn't going to know what hit him. Sami moves up, having heard this last part and questions Brandon. Benny and Larry scram, and Sami orders Brandon to tell her the truth. Later, Fay shows up at the loft, and in a private moment, Sami asks her why Brandon hates Abe so much... Abe and Lexie return home with their new baby boy. They put the boy to sleep and are soon greeted by Celeste, who insists on moving in to help out with the baby. Abe is less than thrilled, but Lexie is touched. Later, Stefano drops by and gives his daughter a beautiful necklace of Alexandrite (the June gemstone). Lexie is moved. She'd love to introduce her father to the baby, but he's sleeping. Stefano is inwardly frustrated and reluctantly leaves. Abe and Lexie decide to name the baby Isaac Theo... Hope is concerned about her baby. She has a feeling that something isn't right. Bo spends much of the day reassuring her that all is well. Meanwhile, baby Brady is crying his lungs out in the nursery. Dr. Bader checks him out, but isn't concerned. However, a couple of the nurses think there's something very wrong... Feisty Marlo makes demands on Stefano and Rolf. She did what they wanted, and now it's her turn to call the shots. Stefano doesn't like this one bit. He pulls Rolf aside and tells him to take care of the situation. Stefano leaves to see Lexie, and Rolf tries to convince Marlo to get some rest. Marlo says she isn't going to do anything her uncle says. In fact, he should be obeying her! Marlo tells her uncle that she knows the truth about the baby switch, and she'd be more than happy to spread the word. Rolf's anger builds until he snaps and does the unthinkable...

Belle calls Chloe and tells her that she came by the pub earlier to study with Shawn, but Chloe beat her to it. Chloe wonders why Belle didn't join them. Belle says it looked like they were having a good time, and she didn't want to interrupt. Belle, digging, says it looks like Chloe and Shawn are getting close. Chloe alerts and asks Belle if she's jealous. Belle backs down and apologizes for coming off like that. Chloe understands. She guesses that Belle started to feel a little left out when she saw the two of them. Chloe opens up and says she thinks of Belle as her best friend... Brandon is with Sami and Fay, but gets a call from Benny who wants to see him immediately. Brandon goes outside where Benny and Larry are waiting. Benny says they're close to having all the ammo they need to file the lawsuit against Abe, but Benny wishes they had one more explosive thing Abe had done regarding Larry. Brandon says he'll think of something. Larry hopes he hurries up because he wants to make up for lost time. And if it's at Abe's expense... so much the better. Meanwhile, Sami restates her question. She wants to know why Brandon hates Abe so much. Fay avoids a direct answer. Later, Sami tells Fay that Brandon and Lexie recently adopted a kid... their first child. Fay, near tears, is clearly affected... Lexie and Abe are still on an emotional high now that they have a baby boy. Lexie tells Abe she wants him to promise that he'll always let Stefano be a part of baby Isaac's life. Abe is upset at first, then promises Lexie he'll give it his best shot. Later, Lexie leaves Abe a note saying that she's gone to her father's because she still wants to thank Marlo for all she's done... We pickup Rolf shoving Marlo down the stairs just as Stefano enters. Stefano is rocked to core as he sees Rolf finish Marlo off by twisting her neck. Stefano explodes. He can't believe Rolf murdered Marlo! Rolf explains that it was necessary. The girl knew too much. Stefano absorbs this and figures maybe Rolf is right. But he wants the place cleaned up before anyone sees it. Later, Stefano gets a surprise visitor...

Wednesday 30th August 2000
Fay gives Brandon a housewarming gift, then takes off. In private, she tells her son that he and Sami would make a great couple. Later, Brandon and Sami get dressed for their night at the strip club. Meanwhile, Fay drops by the police station to see if Abe is there. She has so many things she wants to tell him... Bo and Alice overhear the nurses talking about the baby. Bo wants to know what's wrong with the little guy. The nurses admit the situation is outside the norm, but the baby's not in danger. He just needs to be fed smaller amounts more frequently. Later, the nurse brings Hope her baby for his feeding, but he continuously cries. Once Hope starts to relax, however, the baby quiets down and starts to nurse. Everyone is relieved, but Alice privately fears something is still wrong... As Abe and Celeste wait for Lexie to return home, Abe admits that he was suspicious of Marlo from the start. When he first met the woman, she appeared drunk. Stefano denied it, though. Abe just hopes she doesn't come back wanting her baby someday. Later, Abe starts to get worried about Lexie so, he dials up the Dimera mansion... Lexie is shocked as she sees Marlo's dead body sprawled out on the floor. Stefano spins a story saying that the poor woman, in her weak condition, fell down the stairs. Later, Stefano tells his daughter to go home and be with her new baby. He'll take care of everything here. When Lexie gets to the foyer, the body is gone. Could this all be just a bad dream?

Thursday 31st August 2000
Marlena and Belle spend the evening bonding. Belle tells her mom she's going to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity this summer. Marlena is proud of her daughter. She's also pleased to see that Belle has taken Chloe under her wing. Belle says they're best friends, and she's trying to convince her to go to the last blast with a group of friends. Meanwhile, Nancy and Chloe are also spending the evening chatting it up. They have a lovely conversation which allows Nancy to understand her daughter even more... Sami is a nervous wreck, and Brandon is cocky and confident as they enter the strip club. Brandon really gets into his role, using the proper street talk and even laying a huge kiss on Sami... "his girl." Later, Brandon subtly mentions Roberto Barelli to the bartender, but he doesn't get the response he was hoping for... Nicole, not feeling well at all, stops by Rex's office. She wants to cash out now. Rex panics and says she can't do that. He's got big plans for her. All he needs is another million. Nicole refuses to give him another cent. Still feeling ill, she wobbles out. Meanwhile at the Blue Note, Austin voices his concerns about Sami. He can't seem to get a hold of her and hopes nothing is wrong. Later, Nicole arrives in very bad shape. Eric rushes to her side, which frustrates Greta... Lexie can't believe her father is lying to her about Marlo's dead body. She demands to know where it is. Stefano says the body is being taken care of. Now all Lexie has to do is keep this under wraps. Lexie is angry that her father would even ask such a thing. There's no way she can keep this to herself. Stefano says if anyone finds out the truth, Lexie's future with her new baby could be in jeopardy. Later on, Abe arrives and pounds on the door...
