Alice Horton - Francis Reid
Alice is the matriarch of Salem, theres not many people she doesn't like apart from the obvious. She loves her family and friends more than anything and would do anything for them. She is a widow after her husband Tom died in 1994.  MORE SOON 

Maggie Horton - Suzanne Rogers
Maggie is another good guy, she's involved with alot of the Salem charity events but unlike her mum Alice she isn't as oblivious to the bad goings on in Salem and will always be there to help friends in need.

Mickey Horton - John Clarke
Mickey is a lawyer, and has represented in some of Salem's juiciest cases. He also is a strong family member. MORE SOON

Marlena Black - Deidre hall
Marlena came to Salem in 1976 and has always been one of the most loved characters on Days. 
She is at the moment married to John Black but has had a few relationships in Salem. She was married to Roman and they had two children together, Sami and Eric Brady. Roman came to Salem to trap Stefano and this started a war between the two men. Stefano hired a man wearing a "Roman Mask" to kill a woman witnessed by Marlena so she thought Roman had killed the woman and turned him in. Roman escaped and went on the run, he returned to save Marlena who Stefano has planned to kill. Stefano crashed his car into a lake and Roman was equited of all charges. Stefano then held Roman captive on an Island. After a struggle Stefano also held Marlena captive as well, unknowingly to everyone else. But they were not help together. Stefano at this point had fallen in love with Marlena (I know, I know).
Marlena escaped with amnesia and went to Salem where she was re-united with Roman, but this was John Black who Stefano has brainwashed into thinking he was Roman (Its weird). Marlena and "Roman" (John), Marlena and "Roman" (John) eventually found the real Roman on the island and the three returned to Salem to break it to Roman's family that the man they thought was there son for a while was a man  (John) who had Romans memories implanted into him. They all accepted the man as John Black and he became a family friend.
While Marlena was married to Roman she did have an affair with John and they had Belle together but Roman thought Belle was his. Stefano's next revenge was to give Sami's diary to Roman which revealed that Belle was Johns and not his.
Stefano then carried on interfering in Marlena's life trying to make her love him. He has kidnapped her, hurt her family, lied to her and even built a room that linked to her bedroom through her wardrobe to sneak in at night. But Marlena keeps foiling him.
Marlena is currently married to John, but there are big stories planned for Marlena

John Black - Drake Hogestyn
John came on the seen in1986 and lived in Salem for a while as Roman Brady (strange story involving Stefano and plastic surgery). John is married to Marlena. He lives with her and their daughter Belle in Marlena's penthouse. He has been romantically involved with, Kristen DiMera, Princess Gina, and some years ago, Diane Colville and Isabella Toscano.
Gina's daughter Greta is a friend of Johns along with Bo and Abe.
Stefano is his arch enemy and the pair have spent may years in a horrible war, more details on Stefano page.

Hope Williams Brady- Kristian Alfonso
Hope arrived in Salem in 1983. I can't say if she is married to Bo, it chops and changes.
Hope is close to her grandmother Alice. She has a son with Bo (Shawn-Douglas). 
At the episodes we start on she is trapped in a cave with Stefano, and is pregnant again, but the father is unknown, (either, Bo, John or Stefano).
When she was programmed to think she was Gina (see Stefano page) she was romantically involved with John Black & Stefano DiMera.
For a real nice woman Hope has alot of enemies, including Stefano?, Gina, And Kate Roberts. 

Princess Gina Von Amburg - Kristian Alfonso
R.I.P. Princess Gina Von Amburg. She was NASTY, but misunderstood!!! She worked for Stefano on and off, and when she stopped working for him Hope was programmed to be her and do his biddings. You can sometimes not have known if it was her or Hope on screen, because there have been lots of occasions when we find out the woman she is playing is in fact the other woman???????? Sorry if that doesn't make sense. She is now dead, and this seems to be the end of the Gina/Hope saga, but in Salem you never can know.

Bo Brady - Peter Reckell
Bo has been in Salem since 1983 and is a good guy, although he has manipulated alot by Princess Gina into thinking she is Hope. Hope is the love of his life even though he had another real love Billie Reed. He lives on his boat Fancy face 2, named after his love Hope. He is friends with Greta, (Gina's daughter), John Black, Alice, and Abe Carver. Gina and Kate Roberts are enemies of his unbeknownst to him. Stefano is also a foe of Bo's who has previously kidnapped him and tried to brainwash him.

Austin Reed - Austin Peck
Austin came to Salem in 1992, and is a rare thing in Salem, a good guy. He has constantly been manipulated by other people. One big one was Sami drugging him into sleeping with her, then she became pregnant, then she broke up him and love of his life (her sister) Carrie, then found out the baby wasn't his but never told him so he'd marry her (they still are). Sami and Carrie have been his only girlfriends. He has a few enemies in Salem including his brother Lucas, and not to his knowledge Kate. Finding out that Sami has been lying to him again, Austin is currently getting close to Greta

Lucas Roberts - Bryan Datillo
Lucas came to Salem with his mother Kate in 1993, he was originally a nice guy but things change. He is close with his mother and doesn't like her closeness to her son, his step brother Austin Reed. He thinks Austin isn't good enough for his family. He is Will father and is married to Nicole Walker. Kate is really his only allie in Salem because he has a habit of stirring up trouble. 

Lexie Carver - Renee Jones
Lexie came to Salem in 1993. She is a god guy and married to Salem cop Abe Carver. In 1995 she discovered Stefano and Celeste are her parents and this shocked her because she hated them for all the evil things they have done to her family and friends. She now loves her mother and father after believing that they had changed, and after Stefano gave Lexie and Abe "Marlo's" baby to adopt.

Abe Carver - James Reynolds
Abe is another good guy, he is married to Lexie. He is always helping the residents of Salem and has actually managed to capture Stefano one time or another. More Soon

Kate Roberts - Lauren Koslow
Kate came to Salem in 1993 and was then a real nice woman, Victor was the love of her life and they planned to have a baby. But Vivian placed Kate's egg in herself instead, this brought out the bad in Kate and from then on she has been scheming , mainly to protect her family. Family members in Salem are her children Philip, Lucas and Austin, husband Victor, and grandson Will.

Brady Black - Kyle Lowder
Brady came to Salem in 2000, a grown up, angry young man. He blames Marlena and John for his crappy life, and what seems to be most of Salem. He has taken a liking to Chloe which spells triangle to me!

Victor Kiriakis - John Aniston
Victor started off in Days as a ruthless villain, and attempted murder was one of his specials. But he reformed when he met Kate. He does seem to be reverting back to his old ways nowadays with the current Sami situation

Nicole Walker - Adrianne Zucker
Nicole came to Salem in 1998, she is married to Lucas Roberts. She lives in the Kiriakis mansion with Lucas, Kate, Phillip, Sami, Austin, and Henderson. She has been involved with Eric as well as Lucas. She is not liked by Greta, Kate, Sami and Victor. But she is close to Lucas and her brother Brandon. She is a bit of a bitch, she accepted $5,000,000 off Kate to marry Lucas so he could get custody of his son Will, she also has lied to people, and helped Lucas cover up the fact that he killed Franco.

Henderson - Ron Leath
Not much to say about this guy, he lives in the Kiriakis mansion as butler and friend, and mostly seems oblivious to what is happening around him, although he actually sees quite a lot of what happens.

Nancy Wesley - Patrika Darbo
Nancy came to Salem in 1998. She isn't really a good guy and has caused some trouble in her 2 years in Salem. She schemed to stop Mike from getting the chief of staff job at the hospital, conspired to get Carrie and Mike caught up in a town scandal, and she gave up her daughter at birth but this isn't really bad. She is married to Craig Wesley and lives with him. Her trouble making has gotten her quite a few enemies including Carrie Reed, Lexie Carver and Ali McIntyre.

Craig Wesley - Kevin Spirtas
Craig came to Salem in 1997. He conspired with wife Nancy to get Mike hated so he could have the Chief of staff job, his scheme included getting Ali McIntyre to say Mike sexually harassed her. His enemies are the same as his wife's but Alice has also taken a hating for Craig.

Brandon Walker - Matt Cedeno
Brandon is a bad guy who has it in for Abe Carver, but we don't know why, it is rumoured that he is Abe's son. Brandon is currently single but something seems to be developing between him and Sami.

Faye Walker - 
Faye came to Salem as the good Mom with secrets. It is now known that she shared a torrid past with Abe, and Brandon may be a result of this affair. Faye is a good woman, and looks out for her children. There looks to be a new love for her in the shape of Roman, but a pairing with Victor would be a good idea as well.

Nicholas Alamain - Victor Webster
Nicholas has left Salem, which is a shame. He seems to be starting an affair with Kate Roberts, which is bad news considering she is married to Victor, and this might me one of the reasons for his departure.

Kurt Schvenkle
He is Gina's henchman, and helped her take over Hopes life by keeping Hope and Stefano prisoner in Paris.

Sami Brady - Alison Sweeney
Sami came into Salem in 1992, and it wasn't long before she was stirring up trouble. She more or less manipulated hubby Austin into marrying her. She has one son by Lucas called Will. She is close to mother Marlena and twin brother Eric. Her romantic links have been Austin and Lucas, and now she is getting close to Brandon Walker

Eric Brady - Jensen Ackles
Eric is Sami's twin brother. He is a good guy in Salem, and was dating Greta Von Amburg, after he broke up with Nicole Walker, but they broke up after he realised he was still in love with Nicole

Shawn Douglas Brady - Jason Cook
Shawn was born in Salem in 1987 to Bo and Hope Brady. After five actors playing him Jason Cook took on the role when Shawn-Douglas grew up in 1999. He is very close to Dad Bo and Mom Hope, and was suspicious of Gina. He now lives with Bo and Hope in there home in Salem. He is currently getting involved with John and Marlena's daughter Belle. Phillip, Mimi, and Chloe are also friends of Shawn's. 

Belle Black - Kristen Storms
Belle was born in Salem in 1994 to Marlena and her lover at the time John Black, unbeknownst to her husband at the time Roman. Due to the magic of soap ageing Belle is not 6, like she should be, but about 14. She is also friends with Mimi, Chloe, Phillip and dating Shawn Douglas. 

Phillip Kiriakis - Jay K Johnson
Phillip was born in 1995, but due to SOAS (soap opera aging syndrome), he is now a teenager. He is a bit of an obnoxious bully, but it looks like he is going to change now he is falling for Chloe Lane

Greta Von Amburg - Julianne Morris
Greta came to Salem a few years back after she was found in a swamp, she was known to hold the key to Hopes past, and it was then discovered she was Princess Gina's daughter, but was apposed to her mothers plans. She is currently seeing Eric Brady.

Chloe Lane - Nadia Borjlin
Chloe came to Salem after discovering her long lost Mom, Nancy. They are still having problems, but Chloe has found a friend in Craig, and is falling for Phillip.

Mimi Lockhart - Fara Fath
Mimi entered Salem as one of the bullies who picked on Chloe. Her character has coma a long way, and although Mimi still has her bitchy side, she is changing a lot.
