Greetings, guys. The Save the Tree Foundation was originated on the buss ride home, as that was the time that the 5th row show "aired." Along the way for the first two years there was a tree, not a particuarly big tree, nor a pretty tree, nor a healthy looking tree. And this tree was proped up by an equally ugly, unhealthy looking stick. Hence the household was dubbed the Save the Tree Foundation.

The Save the Tree Foundation was eventually abandoned as the bus passed by one day and the Tree was gone, save a stump where it used to be.
