Luey Lamprey / the Flukes
Luey:
The story behind Luey the Lamprey and his abundant adventures with the cast and crew of the 5th Row show is one is tragedy and intregue, one of passion and inner turmoil, and yet it somehow found it's way onto the low-lass comedy that was Jim (at that time called Tom) and Anthony in the 7-9th grades.
Luey began as a humble lampry (a viracious blood sucking thing similar to a leach, sort of) in the swamps of Brazil. There he grew into a full grown lampry because that is what lampries do best. It was about this time that Tom made an expedition to the swamps of Brazil to find the illusive jelly-like substance known as "Swamp Juice" which can be used as a remedy for genital warts and extreme cases of flatulence (farts). He planned to market this amazing greese to such southern states as Mississippi and the back woods of Arkansas.
In the meantime, Tom had been flasely accused of uttering a derogatory racial slur at one of the infamous Brazilian Swamp Monsters that inhabited the same area. Whilst entangled in a battle for life with the ravenous Monster, Luey saw his opportunity and pounced onto Tom's blue backpack. Fortuneatly, at that very moment, Tom dodged a blow from the enraged Swamp Monster and Luey flew straight over Tom's head and onto the Monster. Luey, being of a voracous appetite quickly slurped up the insides of the Swamp thing and finnished by eating the outsides as well.
Luey then turned on Tom. Luckily, being a quick-thinking fellow, Tom engaged the patented "Lamprey-Be-Tamed" device attached to his bookbag to the Lamprey in mid-air combat. Luey has been a part of Tom's (Jim's) bookbag ever since.
NEVER EVER release Luey from his bookbag-suckle! Chaos will erupt as Luey eats everything in sight within minutes!
