~ Welcome to my gardens ~
I'm so glad that you strolled into my garden.
I hope that you enjoy all
that my
garden has to offer.
In my gardens I have many
hobbies and interests,
such as vegetable gardening, herbs,
container gardens,
and flower gardening.
I also enjoy backyard birding,
watching the hummingbirds and butterflies,
and drying the flowers from the gardens
and making crafts with them.
As I stroll through my gardens,
I reminice about the many hours
my husband and I have spent
digging and planting,
and relocating the flowers
and herbs that are growing,
and about the Hummingbirds
that have zipped to my flowering windowboxes,
wishing well ,
and my antique wheelbarrel.
During the Fall months
I plant the Spring Bulbs,
cut back and mulch
the Perennials and prepare
the Vegetable and Herb gardens
for the Spring .
As winter arrives ,
it is time for watching the birds ,
reading garden magazines,
writing in my garden journal
and planning my vegetable
and herb garden.
I also enjoy burning
scented candles and tarts
while I sit in my computer
gardening room making
arts and crafts.
During the winter months,
I recycle a
Holiday Tree for the birds.
(if you use an artificial tree
you could ask someone
to recycle theirs).
I also plant winter bulbs
in pots in the house,
and start my seeds
for the herb garden
on the windowsill in the kitchen.
It seems to make the winter
go by alot faster.
In the spring and summer
I enjoy digging, planting ,
and watchingeverything
that the gardens attract.
Sometimes an unwanted guest
or two might stop in ,
but they are fun to watch too!!
And if I look closely
there are
tiny little guests
enjoying their visit also.
I would like to thank
my son Ron for his many hours
of teaching me how to use
my computer long distance
over the telephone,
To my sister-in law

for helping me with HTML,
and to my grandmother(Nana Ola)
for introducing me to gardening
and birding ,and to
my mother
