It's impossible watching "Come Get Some!!" not to be impressed by Summer, the character played by Colleen Galeazzi. She's not only hot as hell, she's also the perfect guide to the female gang, and her acting and role resemble some of the best female characters from horror movies... well, she's not a scream-queen by any means, but I think her character is something really training and important for this movie so that I wanted to get in touch with her to have a brief interview. Nothing's hard when you're holding a machete in your hands. If anything, everything's possible!

From the movie emerges a bit of a girl-power message in my eyes, even if drowned in loads of humour and blood to make it smoother... what do you think of this, and what do you think of feminism in general?
There's no direct message for the girls. It's whatever you make of it. Come Get Some proves that blood, gore, humor, chicks & tricks can intimidate the human race. I am not a feminist. You shouldn't narrow out any type of sex. Depends on the individual: man, woman, animal, zombie, Jesus, Satan. It shouldn't be about cliques. If you come into life with an open mind, you definitely won't miss anything & your life will be more interesting. Let's slay feminists!

You look like the kind of girl who's acting his real behaviour in the movie, are you so fuckin' bad-ass in person?
I have to say this character was a molding of me. I have been acting for 10 years & this character put all the past to rest.

The movie has got an all-star cast from NC musical underground, what are your links with it, if there are any?
First of all, I think it's amazing to have all this talent in one movie. We are lucky little devils! Gideon Smith, that cowboy is rockin' like gold & rotten like zombies! I love their tunes, that's my link. Besides, everyone in the movie is bloody cool.

You're the only girl in the movie showing the public some of your "private parts"... did you feel comfortable doing so? Why you were the only one doing so?
Only because I showed the private & slayed the parts, I guess my Catholic uniform days are over with. I was the only one because the devil made me do it.

Are you going to pursue your actress career or was this just a spare case? How did Jason got you into the project?
Yes. I love expressing myself through the camera. I met Jason through an audition held in Charlotte & then I was casted for Summer.

What are the qualities that make a man appealing to you? And what about the perfect female friend?
A man needs to have a backbone. Confidence, personality, goals, creativity, original style, sick humor, ambitions, someone who is not afraid of challenges, taking chances, speaking their mind & doesn't ask too many questions. Also, someone who is very considerate, that's important. Pretty much the same for a female: common interests a must.

What are your fave movies and actresses? Have you taken inspiration from some of them doing this movie?
These are my favorite movies: Silence of the Lambs, American Psycho, In Dreams, Snow White, Pink Flamingos, Nosferatu, Willy Wonka, The Shining. Actors: Jack Nickolson, Anthony Hopkins, Robert Downey, Snow White, Juliette Lewis, William Defoe, Angelina Jolie. I have to say I love John Waters. I admire him as an independent film maker to take chances that are daring. My dream is to be in one of his movies.
