Nothing new today except the fact that geocities finally let me save my updates. I'm supposed to leave to go to the shore today. :) <June 14> Though it appears that I haven't been updating, I actually have been. I've been adding dolls to the Dolls section, but was having trouble recording it here before. Then I decided to wait until school was over to make bigger updates since things were really getting busy. School ended today! w00t! In other news there's a new layout (Liv Tyler) and I've been working on a new base. I like the face, but the poses are giving me problems. Grrr! <April 1> Happy April Fools' Day! I won't be playing any pranks on you so you can take me seriously. ;) Wow! It took a while to update. There's been a lot going on. But finally the "Oscar Dress-up" awards are up so hopefully the entrants got that email that I just sent. In other news I'm a red-head and not a blond anymore. General concensus (sp?) everyone likes me better with red hair except my mom. Moms . . .sheesh. Aparently darker hair matches my freakishly pale skin (No fake-baking for me! And I say no to skin cancer!) better, My mom thought I looked gothic. I don't even think she knows what that means. And I'll take that as a compliment. Moms . . . <March 9> Not too related to my site, but I'm so escited since they released the covers (U.S., UK Children, UK Adult) for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. The American one is interesting but doesn't really give a lot away from what I can see. However, the UK Adult cover shows a book on a table called something like "Advanced Potions." Interesting. Since I last posted, I made a random trip to Jacksonville to supprot my team in the Super Bowl. And I got back and then started havign computer problems. I haven't even bene on the computer (yes both the computer AND the Internet) since the 9th or 10th. Annoying. I will quickly get to updating now and start the new Contest. It's a dress me up for the Oscar's Contest. w00t! <January 29> Amid internet and computer problems, I've finally been able to put up the Winter Fairy Contest awards. Go check them out. I haven't had it since June. I've been experimenting, but ultimately I've decided that I like pixel-shading better. That won't stop me from experimenting with tool-shading though. The other faces will be alternative heads for the base. I must come up with a name. I'm thinking about the name "Fallon." <September 12> Yesterday was Patriot Day, and my heart goes out to the people who have family members that lost their lives 3 years ago. I am working on a base that I am really liking. It will definitely be my best yet. I'm currently working on alternate heads. I have entered a new contest (See above). Weeeeee! <August 31> Sorry about the lack of updates everyone, but school has unfortunately started. I have finally figured out a way to re-create the old Miss Slytherin and Ravenclaw awards, and I am doing so right now. The only problem is that it takes forever because the program I am using doesn't support layers! Some awards are posted already. Once again, sorry for the delay. <August 15> The miscellaneous dolls section is finally open. For the longest time, it was just a dead link. A few new dolls added today. I hope to create some new (and better) bases in the near future. Meanwhile it's Day 2 of the Olympics. Go USA! <August 14> Have you been watching the Olympics? I have! Now every doll page is completely renovated with some new dolls added. Check it out! I wish I could have done more today, but I couldn't get on until after 1 in the morning (so technically it's the 15th) because I spent over 6 hours baby-sitting a 1-year-old. Not bad for a teenager. Very tiring. <August 13> Happy Friday the 13th! Added a new award. smiles I renovated the character dolls page and have added in dolls. Now I'm off to work on the formal dolls page. Weee! I'm on a role! I should be done in no time at all. <August 12> I've redone my awards section and am going to finally be adding some dolls to my doll section. See above. <July 27> OMG it's been so long since I've updated. I never got to put up my hiatus sign before I went to Hawaii due to computer problems and then when I got back I still had the computer problems and went on another vacation and am now back yet extremely frustrated because my dad thought i had my files saved on a cd when he refreshed the memory of the computer. So he assumed I did and didn't bother to ask me. Guess what? I never wven got the cd to save them on. Everything that I've worked so hard on is gone including the awards that I worked hard on that took me forever. I think I'm going to scream. And I can't do the awards right now because my paint shop pro 7 cd is at my aunt's house along with a computer that has actual color (i wanna go back there and stay there actually) . Nonetheless, I will continue fixing the format and organization of the site. Don't worry. <May 16> Okay, I'm done making the Ravenclaw/Slytherin awards. I'll be putting them up soon. I still can't see much color and had to use my prior knowledge to figure otu what shade of red I was using for example. I switched 2 of the old Ninon Bases, with the edited newer version. The new version includes, better shading, larger forehead, and fixed arms. :) I like them better now. And I'm also fond of some of those alternate heads with the closed eyes. So cute! I will put the other edited versions up soon! <April 15> Happy 14th Birthday to Emma Watson who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies. I added a new pose today of the Ninon Base. I've been improving the current ones up there, but they haven't been added yet. Also available are alternate heads. The new pose and heads oly come in one skin color currently, but they will be made in all skin tones soon. :) <April 13> Today is a sad day at my house. 'Tis the two year anniversary of my Grandmother's deathday. :( Loss is hard. But it gets easier as time progreses. In much happier news, I got a lovely Easter gift from Meggy that I couldn't put up here until today due to me spending my last two days frantically finishing an important english project. And also, Meggy needs entries in her contest. See the message in bold at the top for more info and for the link! <March 30> My computer is all fixed and the cable modem is working. And we have pinpointed the last proble, which is the color. It turns out it is a problem with the monitor. And until that is fixed, which I don't think will take long, wil lbe able to make the awards for Miss Gryffindor/Miss Hufflepuff, more doll,s and the Base of the Week and Site of the Week as well. I know, major frustration right now. All Iwant is that darn color! It's been weeks sicne I've been able to make a doll and I'm going crazy! <March 24> I finally added the entries for Miss Ravenclaw and Miss Slytherin. If you sent yours and it's not up, please send it again because it was probably lost due to computer problems! The awards for Gryffindor and Hufflepuff will be up soon as well. And starting this Saturday, Dollface will begin having Base of the Week and Site of the Week. Yay! <March 23> Okay, here's the deal, since the beginning of March I have been having computer problems. At first, the internet just stopped working. We found out there was something wrong with the ethernet connection and we got that fixed, but then my computer got screwed up indirectly from the problem. So my computer got repaired, but when we got it back, we found out the color was messed up. I can only see blue, yellow, black, and white. No red, orange, pink, purple, peach, brown, etc. But since yellow and blue make green, I can see only a really ugly greenish-vomit color. Anything that should be reddish is black, so I obvious cannot make dolls currently because I wouldn't know what color I was using now would I? hehe. But that should be fixed soon! Anyway, due to my absence from the site, Miss Ravenclaw and Miss Slytherin entries are now due on April 2nd! <March 1> You'll notice I'm on a semi-kinda-hiatus. I've been making many changes, but you'll notice that I don't include them in the updates. I've been re-vamping everything really. some things you'll notice that are different are the contest entry pages, the tag board, and of course, the overall layout. But i also must pay more attention to school, as my grades are slipping horribily. Interims came out today and all I can say is gasp. <February 21> Make sure you use the new address from now on! And I put up the Valentine's awards and I earned a new award, myself! <February 14> Happy Heart Day! And also Happy Birthday to my dog. She turns 6 today. She's getting old. :/ And yesterday was Friday the 13th. I expected to wake up and have the roof fall on my head. <February 12> Added a new base, that's pretty big. I entered Mertice! <December 28> Yay! Today's my birthday! I turn 15. Ya I know I'm a young doller, but I've been dolling since I was 13. I created a doll I really love today. Her name's Mertice. Look for her under Casual dolls in the 'Dollz' section. <December 26> Kwanzaa starts today! Happy Kwanzaa to those who celebrate it! I added the "Harmony" doll today. Two days until my birthday, yay! <December 25> Merry Christmas to all! I'm cancelling the Sexy Santa Contest due to lack of enough entries, but if you did enter, I'm sending you a participation award anyway. Two new contests will be up soon, and they'll be a bit of time before the due date. <December 16> I've been sick for the past few days and it feels kind of weird because I feel like I'm not breathing enough and I'm constantly light-headed. <December 12> My computer crashed wednesday and I'm using my old computer that only had my old files save don it. maybe i should upload old dolls. Sunday's suppsoed to have really bad weather-a snowstorm and ice rain-Now open-THE SEXY SANTA DOLL CONTEST! <December 6> The snowstorm continues. We're supposed to be getting A LOT of snow. Anyway, the awards for the Punk/Goth doll contest have been awarded. Check to see who won what on the Contests page. The next contest will be the Sexy Santa Contest (female Santa). It will be open very soon. <December 5> Snow day! I got an early dismissal from school today! (I'm in high school) Yay! The Punk/Goth doll contest ends today! To enter, check the contests page. <December 4> I got Comcast hugh-speed internet today, which means I'll be able to devote mroe time to the dollsite.
