Gabrielle info

Gabrielle was born in Poteidaia. When Xena saved this village (, first episode of XWP) Gabrielle wanted to travel with Xena. For she doesn't like Poteidaia anymore. (She was bored) and she liked a new adventure. Xena didn't like this and she wasn't very nice to Gabrielle. This doesn't bother to Gabrielle and she didn't want to go back to Poteidaia anymore. Gabrielle thought every human has something good inside and thought it would be the same with Xena. While her traveling Gabrielle tells everyone who wants to hear it (and even if you don't want to hear it) stories, and she has a busy life. When Gabrielle tries to save an Amazon Princess, what doesn't succeed, she is offerd by the amazons to become an Amazon Princess. Gabrielle doesn't doubt and she become the Amazon Princess (Xena doesn't know something about this). Gabrielle chooses to fight with a staff. Because Gabrielle is the new Amazon princess, she has to kill the murder of the old Amazon princess. Xena put just in time a stopper on it, cause Xena know the centaur is not the murder. When Xena sees Gabrielle as an Amazon she is a bit angry, but soon there big friend again and travel together as 2 princesses who will save the world of war. Then meets Gabrielle Perdicas. Gabrielle has been given in marriage by him and they marry. This marriage is soon ended cause Callisto kills Perdicus. Gabrielle is furious and she wants vengeance. Xena stopped her fortunately. Becuase the goodness of Gabrielle it takes a long time before she killed someone. But alas, this has to happen once. Gabrielle kills a woman to save a "friend". This friend is really not good and it was him intention to let Gabrielle commit a crime. Because Gabrielle killed someone, she is the best victim for Dahak, the god where everything ends. Gabrielle is taken in his fire and because of this a baby is transplanted in Gabrielle's stomach. When the baby is born it appears a girl. Gabrielle named her Hope, in the hope that the baby will get the goodness of Gabrielle and not the badness of her father Dahak. Unfortunately this could not be true, cause little Hope kills this man who is taking care of her. Xena obliges Gabrielle to kill Hope, but Gabrielle can't do this and she drops Hope in a cane basket and throws it in the river. The friendship between Gabrielle and Xena is getting harder. This becomes worse when Gabrielle betrays Xena in China, by Ming T'ien. Xena is there almost killed but everything works fortunately good out. However, the friendship breaks when Hope returns. Xena knows Gabrielle had lied and she it ill of her. This is getting worse when Hope kills Solan, Xena's son. Gabrielle decides to poison Hope. Xena hates so much that she wants to kill Gabrielle. Solan put a stopper on this and he send Gabrielle and Xena to Illusion, where they have to pass a proficiency. Gabby and Xena find out that they are very big friends and they can't live without each other. This appears from the moment that Gabrielle is hit by arrow-poison and she almost dies. Xena does everything to keep her in life and it succeeds. However Xena is curious why Gabrielle had betrayed her in China. Therefore she sends Gabrielle to the temple of MNemosyne, where her conscience is tested. Gabrielle may choose here if she wants to keep her past or forever lose it. Gabrielle decides to keep her past, cause she has got also some good memories (especially about Xena). However Xena finds out a bad quality of Gabrielle. Gabrielle is very jealous. When Hope returns, thanks to Callisto, she looks the same as Gabrielle. You can't see the difference between them. When Xena wants to kill Hope, Gabrielle stops her, when she doesn't Xena will die. In consequence of this Gabrielle and Hope fall in the lava and Xena&Joxer
think she is dead. But Gabrielle picks up enough French to carry on and comes alive back on earth.
