"But Gabrielle..." Josh started but Gabrielle interrupted him. "Josh, we'll talk about this later. What you can do is help me with dinner." "Fine Gabi," he said upset and stood next to her. "Aw, Josh. Are you mad at me?" she asked grabbing his hand. "All I ever wanted was to be with you, Gabi. I just wish I could be and not be with Mrs. Theresa. I should've asked you out a long time ago." "It's okay. Really, it is. At least I got invited to the wedding," she said walking over to the table and handing him the picture, "I really do love that picture." "You look so beautiful in that, sweetie. You always look beautiful, though," he said smiling. "Thanks," she said stirring the rice. --- "So, tell me something... who is this Theresa girl?" Brandie asked as she crossed her legs. "She is Josh's evil wife," Justin said as he shook his head, "We all don't like her but Theresa can't stand Gabrielle because Theresa knows that Josh and Gabi are for each other. You should have seen her face today. It was unbelievable, Brandie," he said with a small laugh but realized he was rambling, "Sorry." "It's okay. I want to kick her ass." "You can't because she's in Los Angeles right now," he explained. "Aw man. I wanted to have some fun," she said laughing. "You will when she comes back in two days. You know Jace gave Gabrielle's permission to beat Theresa up? That shows you how much he loves her so much." "I think one of these days they will be." "Hopefully they will," he answered. Gabrielle then walked into the living room and sat next to Brandie. She let out a sigh. "I want him so bad but you know I never ever mess with a man, who is married. To top it off, he was kissing my neck and feeling on me..." she said sighing. "What happened?" Justin asked. "I told him we couldn't do it and then he saw the picture from the wedding. He said that would be us one day... married and all." "Well, you should know that it will happen Gabrielle Angel Lopez," JC said walking into the living room. "That's what you say. I'll believe it when it happens," she said walking back into the kitchen. "Damnit," JC sighed as Brandie walked in the kitchen after Gabrielle. "You have it so bad that's it crazy. Just don't do anything you'll regret," Justin said walking into the kitchen as JC followed. Gabrielle pouted as she stood on her tippy toes trying to get the plastic plates. She sighed as she hopped up on the counter and stood up, grabbing the plates. JC had to check her out, especially her body. The curves were his favorite but the body part that caught his attention was that Spanish ass of hers. As she got down, he walked up to her. Justin and Brandie were watching him. "Is he crazy, Justin?" Brandie asked. "Yes. He's always like this when he likes a girl," Justin explained. She nodded as they looked straight to Gabrielle and JC. "What now, JC?" she asked. "Can we talk?" he asked backing her against the counter. "Damnit Josh. Do you have to be so impatient? I said after dinner we'll talk," she said pushing him away as she went to serve. "Sorry," he said as he got out the cups, "What are we drinking?" "Check the 'fridge for the beverages." JC nodded as he saw there were just sprites. He just chuckled and put the cans on the table. Gabrielle then brought the food to the tables and then got the plates, silverware, and napkins, and sat down. "Damn Gabi. You made my favorite," Justin laughed. "Justin, you say that about all of my food," Gabrielle said as she started to eat. "Well, your food is off the hook," he said laughing and took a bite. She just shook her head and every now and then, she'd catch JC staring at her. Josh smiled as he saw her blush. As they finished eating, Justin and Brandie walking towards the living room. Gabrielle rose to her feet and grabbed the dishes, putting them in the sink. She then began to wash them. Josh just sat at the table and his smile got bigger seeing the picture of Justin, JC, and Gabrielle at the wedding. "I still can't believe you have this picture," he said smiling to himself. "It's my favorite," she said washing the dishes. "Yeah, we all will be best friends." "I am really thankful for that," she smiled washing her hands with a wash cloth. "You should be, Gabi," he said taking a sip of his sprite, "Life isn't fair sometimes." "No one said life would be easy," she said as a tear fell from her eyes. "Gabi, come here." "What now?" she asked as she walked over to him. "Don't cry," he said pulling her in his lap, "You know I don't want you to cry. Why are you crying anyway?" "You married her! I've always imagined that it would be me. She has you wrapped around her finger," Gabrielle said looking into his eyes. "I didn't have a choice. I had no idea that if I went out with her one time that we'd be married in like three weeks," he sighed. "You didn't know. I'll be back," she said standing up. "Okay," he said as she walked out the room. --- "So, you want to do something tomorrow?" Justin asked Brandie. "Sure. I'm free all day tomorrow. I'm off today and tomorrow from work," she smiled. "Cool. Where do you work?" he asked. "I work with Gabrielle at the Dale City Veterinarian office," she answered. "That's cool. How long have you been working there?" "Well, since I'm twenty-one, I've been working there since I turned nineteen. I didn't need to go to college long like Gabi since her father works there," she smiled. "Oh yeah. I remember I had to take my horse in there. Well, it was my cousin's," he said laughing. "Was the horse's name Sequel?" "Yeah. That horse is afraid of everything," he laughed. "Yeah, Gabi told me about that horse." JC then walked in and sighed as he looked out the window, not paying attention to Justin or Brandie. "Hon, what's the matter?" Brandie asked looking to JC. "I've loved Gabi since I was in the ninth grade and I found out she's liked me since she was six. I love her so much but I can't do anything until Theresa's father is dead," he said sighing, "I am so glad Theresa isn't here. She is driving me crazy and I can never go anywhere when she's in town." "I know Gabrielle respects people, who are married. She won't touch a man if he's married and she's been really strong for the fact that you married Theresa. Shit, I am surprised she hasn't laid a hand on Theresa. Gabrielle usually gets in fights with people she cannot stand. You both know that, though," Brandie responded. "Yes, we do," Justin replied. "Where is she by the way?" Brandie asked looking to JC. "To her room. She looked tired. Maybe she went to bed and I'm tired," he said as his eyes blinked very slowly. "Well, it is ten thirty," Justin replied, "We should all bunk here." "All right," JC said as he left the room as Justin and Brandie fell asleep in each other's arms on the couch. |
