I then looked at these letters my dad gave me that got sent back that my mom had gotten. I then began to read the letters. The first one I read was so special. It described why he left my mother and I wasn't so mad anymore, well not at him. I was furious at my mother. I could not believe her. I then saw some of the cops looking at me. What were they looking at me for?
"Will everyone get to work and stop staring at my daughter?" Lt. Hernandez snapped
I then looked to my dad as he winked to me. I smiled a little as I looked down at the papers and books all around me. My dad was making my dream coming true. He said if I studied REAL heard and dedicated myself to being a cop, I could be one. I then looked at the first book.
"Justice and Law" I said as I opened the first book
"That is a really good one" I looked up as I saw Lt. Chasez and I couldn't help myself but smile a little."Really?" I asked smiling a little
"Yeah, it tells you everything you need to know from protecting yourself to killing a person" he explained
"Well, sounds interesting" I said as I flipped to the first chapter
He just made me really happy as Cheyenne did as well. I didn't get the feeling I got from Cheyenne but I know I didn't want it to stop.

I then walked away from the cell as suddenly a guy barged in. The guy had brown, curly hair that came to his neck. He stood probably about 5'9 and he had green eyes. He then looked towards and headed towards Ariadne.
~Ariadne~
"Hey bitch! Look what you fucking did!" he said pointing to his eyeEveryone then towards the guy and Ariadne. Ariadne shut the book, rolling her eyes and stood up. She then walked over to him, smiling.
"Hmm, did it hurt? I mean, you having a black eye from my fist, Miguel? I think it's pretty funny!" she said shaking her head, "You don't ever and I mean ever" she said leaning close, "mess with Ariadne Lilia Hernandez" she said crossing her arms over her
"Oh wow, I'm scared!" he said sarcastically, "Now listen to me and listen good..." he started but was interrupted
"No, listen to me. Miguel, you are so damn stupid. You are at a police station and having cocaine on you!" she said as she said it loud enough for Cheyenne to hear, "And Miguel, I quit. I can't do this to myself. Being a prostitute and doing drugs and everything is just not good for me. I mean, afterall, I am just twenty-two" she said as she walked back to the bed
Miguel then began to hit the metal trying to get in but nothing. Cheyenne then pushed him against the bars as she searched him. As she reached into his back pocked, she pulled out a bag of cocaine. She then led him to the back where they kept the prisoners.

I still couldn't believe that this guy called Ariadne a bitch. She sure was tough giving him that black eye. I just smiled at her and went back to work.
~Ariadne~
I couldn't help myself but smile at JC. He was so cute and I never fell in love with a guy but JC...damn, he was making me fall for him. He was being so kind. I then sat back on the mattress and opened the book as I had a long day ahead of me.
~A couple days later~
~Lt. Hernandez~
A lot has happened these few days. We've been going through hell, catching the drug dealers, which isn't so bad because we are still looking for more drugees. I smiled a little as I look at my daughter going through the books. I then saw Josh go over to her, giving her a bag, which had a sub, a bag of chips, and a soda. She smiled at him as I just knew that she was falling for Officer Chasez and hey, I wasn't complaining. He then walked to his desk doing paper work.Office Chasez, Officer Lock, and myself have been there for her. Officer Chasez has gotten her breakfast, lunches, and dinners. He would sometimes eat with her. He also got her a stuffed bear, which was sweet. I, on the other hand got her books on romance and adventures. When I was a little boy, I read adventures, especially with spies. I got her this one book called The Dirty Social Club and it's a romance book. I also got her some clothes like some jeans, shorts, sweaters, T-shirts, and tank tops. I also got her some shorts and a shirt to sleep in and some Timberlands. Cheyenne was always with Ariadne, helping her out by talking with her and also helping on her shooting. They were really close. I could tell they were going to be really good friends. I then walked over to Josh.
"Hey Josh?"
"Yes Lt. Hernandez?" he asked looking up from his papers
"I want you to take Ariadne to dinner tonight" I said softly
"Are you sure about that?" he asked looking to me
"Yes, I do. I can tell she loves you man. She had the same look when her mother and myself met" I told him
"Thanks man! I'll take her but um, can I get back to work?" he asked laughing a little
I nodded as I walked away from him and smiled a little.

I couldn't believe it. I had a date with Ariadne tonight. Man, was I nervous. I mean, she was sexy, smart, intelligent, and god, she wanted to be a cop. Hmm, I could show her around town. Well, she does have a sexy dress she can wear or just something casual.
~Ariadne~
My dad just came over to me saying that I have a date with JC tonight. I wonder what is going on. I then looked into Officer Chasez's direction and smiled and guess what? He smiled back and I then looked to the books. I then heard the gate being opened and I looked up. It was Cheyenne.
