~The Next Day~
~Justin~
I just got back from vacation. Everyone filled me in that JC got with Lt. Hernandez's daughter. She sure was something. I mean going from prostitute to police officer was something. As Samara walked in the station, my jaw dropped. She sure was something. I mean, geez, she was so freaking hot. Hopefully, I would get my work done. Lt. Hernandez said Samara and me had to work on the Booker case together. Travis Booker got slaughter and we have to find out who did this. This job sounded nasty but we were the Homicide Detectives(HD's) and it should work out, right? It's not like she's a bitch, right? That's all I need is a young girl telling me what to do. I don't go by what other people tell me to do, but what I think is right.
"Detective Timberlake and Detective Martin in my office now..." he said as he walked in his office
We then walked in his office, seeing Ariadne, JC, and Cheyenne in the office.
"Hold on for a second detectives" he said and turned back to them, "JC, you can't let personal problems come in during work hours. We got a big case and Ariadne..." he said, "I am going to give you your first case since you helped us on last time on who the thief was last time" he said, "You want the chance or not?"
"Are you sure you want to do this?" she asked
"Honey, I am sure about this... and you can probably figure out most of these cases since you were out on the street" he answered
"If Lt. Chasez and Officer Lock want me to?" she asked looking at the two
"What do you two think about this?"
"I definitely don't have any problems about this" Lt. Chasez said
"Lock, what you think about this about letting Ariadne come with you two?"
"It's fine with me" she replied, "but I got to get back to my paper work" she told him
"You go do it then" he replied as Cheyenne walked out, "You two get started" he said as JC and Ariadne walked out, "Sorry about that" he said looking at Samara and Justin
"It's okay" Detective Timberlake replied
"You are the new guy, right?" Lt. Hernandez asked looking at Justin
"Yeah all the way from LA Lieutenant" he replied
"Nice station down there?"
"Yeah, the best sir. Been there for two years" he replied
"Lt., not to be rude but can we get started on the case? We don't want to waste any time" Samara replied
"Yeah, you are right, Detective Martin. All right, here is what you two need to do..."

I was really worried about Cheyenne. She had been ignoring me ever since we talked for that hour a couple days ago. I know she wanted Ariadne but I wanted to get this relationship started before it ends. I then looked at Ariadne, who was wearing black pants, a white button down shirt, and a pair of black boots. To me, she looked sexy. She had her hair in a bun and two strands in the front down in the front. Cheyenne did it for her. Ariadne let out a sigh as she looked over the papers for the fifth time.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't get it... they sure did block the traces..." she replied, "We got to check out the auto shop" she replied
"Well, we better get started" I replied
Cheyenne sighed loudly as air rushed in the station and her papers flew off her desk. She sighed as she bent down to pick up her papers. I then helped her up, gathering her papers in my hand.
"Here you go, Chey" I said handing them to her
"Uh, thanks" she said not looking in my eye
"Sweets, what's wrong?" I asked using her nickname when I was worried about her
"Nothing Josh" she replied
"Are you sure?" I asked
She nodded as we both stood up to our feet. I turned around not seeing Ariadne. Where is my girl now? She was always somewhere else if I turned my back for at least five minutes. I then saw Ariadne talking with her father. They really had a close bond, which I respected.
"Okay, let's get going" I said helping Cheyenne to her feet as Ariadne approached us
"Let me get my jacket" she said as she walked to the back
"How is she?" Ariadne asked looking at me
"I don't know. Even if she says she's fine, I know for a fact that she isn't, Ari..." I said sighing
"For the last time, I am fine" Cheyenne snapped as she walked out
"Let's stop bugging her for now... okay?" Ariadne asked me
I nodded my head as we walked out the door.
~Samara~
Boy, he sure was cute. Justin Timberlake, I mean, Detective Justin Timberlake. Wow, nice blonde shaved head too. God, he was about 6'0? I am not sure and then those eyes. They are the most bluest eyes I have ever seen. Okay, Samara snap out of it. I then saw him pull up to the house of Travis Booker. I could tell that the body was still there. I could smell it and boy, it wasn't pretty. Not pretty at all. As we walked in past the other police officers, we immediately saw the body and they moved out of the way.
"Damn, what did they use on this poor guy..." Justin said examining the body
"Looks like a gun because you can see the bullet holes in his chest, a hammer or something because he looks like he was beated, and some wire or whip because he has these strikes across his legs and arms" I replied indicating each remark
"Whoever did this messed him real bad" Justin replied
"Well, since the hammer is here, get it check out" I said handing him a clear plastic bag like a glad bag where you can put a sandwich in
"All right" he said as he put on some plastic gloves and put the hammer in the bag
"Okay, that's it for now, so let's head on down to the station" I said as I stood up
He nodded his head as we walked out the door. I smiled to myself as I couldn't beleive how cute this guy was. How the hell was I suppose to get my work done in my condition? I would try my best and show him that I can be tough and that I dedicate myself to my work.

She sure was something. When we got back to the station, we got the hammer sent to the bback to get the finger prints off of it. I was very impressed by her actions. I noticed that Lt. Hernandez's daughter, Officer Lock, and Lt. Chasez were gone figuring out the crime suspect case. I then saw Samara staring at me."What?""Nothing, it's nothing….” I told her“All right” she said
